A new place that we randomly selected, and a treat of meal. We ordered the sweet potato tempura, Las Vegas roll and dragon roll all very delicious. The lighting is ambient and a nice place to enjoy sushi

Best resturant near my work (Japaneze). Yakisoba is excellent! Gyoza is very good too. I can tell they actually made it. Interior very relaxing and comfortable. Sushi was pricey and the sashimi tasted fishy. Not fresh. The CA rolls were OK though.

Always a great meal! The sushi rolls are superb. This place has become a safe haven when we are craving sushi. Try the Mexican style on a regular Cali roll. Great tip. Priced just right and the staff goes above and beyond.

Food was ok, not great. We only got sushi rolls. Tuna was sketchy, warm and mushy. Service was good. Place was clean, just very random location. If you’re looking for esthetics and ambience… Not here.

Let me just say, i was a little skeptical about rhis place. Im not really a fan of chinese or Japanese food. But my hubby wanted to try it so i said «what the heck lets try it.» boy was i very surprised. We ordered the crab puffs and the pot stickers for an appetizer, they came out hot and fresh, our waiter was extremely friendly and it was such a nice quiet atmosphere. As our main course, i ordered the fried shrimp with a honey walnut glaze, and my hubby ordered a beef with fried rice skillet. Everything was hot and fresh, the flavors we’re very unique and mouth watering. I recommend this place for big parties, and for a date night. I will definitely be eating here often now :)

Surprisingly GREAT sushi: fresh, nicely presented, and delicious! We ordered the Amigo Boat. I also ordered noodles with shrimps and the shrimps were surprisingly grilled just right ! Everything was tasty. Again, a pleasant surprise. I say «surprise» because coming from Southern Calif which is the Mecca of Asian fine dining, we expected very little from the foothills and deserts and valleys of Tucson Arizona. But this family-​owned restaurant was a diamond in the rough. Clean, spacious, well kept place serving delicious food with a smile!!!

I came here from out of town and the reviews look really good for sushi but when I ordered three rolls I quickly found out that I did not order sushi I ordered cucumber with a side of fish. When I was all done picking out the cucumber from my three sushi rolls I had enough cucumber to stack on one of my plate two rows high
I would not recommend this place if you want to have sushi

The food was very good. I had the lo mein combo and my wife had sushi. The most impressive part, though, was the waiter. That guy was going 100 MPH… never stopped. Soda never went dry!

We went in for lunch and I was torn between the Las Vegas roll and Seis Avenida, so the server suggested the Spicy Las Vegas Roll and I went with it. It was huge and delicious.

Pretty much 711 sushi. Everything is filled with cucumbers and imitation crab. ordered 5 rolls and they were all very bland and tasted the same. Prob some of the worst sushi ive had. Sushi Garden is pretty close. That place is 100x better. Idk how this place has such a high rating. Not coming back.

–Very– good! The location makes you think twice, but after we read all the good reviews here on Unilocal we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed! We were actually very surprised and pleased! Friendly service, quick turn around. We had shrimp tempura, and the small assorted sashimi plate. Complementary miso soup was good too! Don’t be afraid come and stop in!

How this place isn’t packed on a Friday night is beyond me! I have dined here about 4 times now since they opened and I’m in love. From the time I walk in the door we are sat and have gotten our drinks within the first minute. The food is excellent and all made within your sight from sitting at your table/​booth. Staff is beyond kind, always attentive. Their prices are a bit cheaper than the regular sushi joint but just as great.
I definitely recommend it!

Sushi Lounge is a great little spot to grab a nice dinner on the south side. The rolls they offer are yummy and full of flavor, and the fish is fresh and delicious. I’ve even tried a dinner entrée (Hamachi Kama) and it was superb, the yellow tail was moist and cooked to perfection. I would suggest trying the Tucson roll, the S.O.S roll, the Yami roll, and the Soft shell crab roll, as those are my go-​to every time I come here with my wife. :p
The customer service is great and the staff is prompt and pleasant, I’ve never had issues waiting for food, or felt like I was forgotten. It’s great having a place like this that’s close to home.

Superb Japanese and Chinese food. The orange chicken was among the best I’ve ever had. Miso soup and green tea iced tea was yummy. Loved the sushi rolls and the waiting staff is very fun and friendly. Nice size servings. The lunch menu is very, very affordable.
I am allergic to shrimp and I felt fine eating their. My friend ordered the shrimp and she said it was the freshest and most tender she has ever eaten.
The goiyza was made there … tender and wonderful.
Nice to eat well and not feel bloated or too full.
A great treasure for Southern Tucson. Just a few blocks off Interstate 19, near the big shopping center.

I have driven by this place many times when heading back and forth to work near the airport. IT is not in the best part of the town. The building from the outside does not cause you go to go «Wow I should check them out». But, after reading several very positive Unilocal reviews. I have to say, you should check it out.
I sat at the sushi bar and ordered tuna, salmon, and white tuna sushi along with a Rainbow roll. The tuna and white tuna were amazing. I really loved it. The salmon was pretty good, but didn’t seem as fresh as the amazing tuna. The Rainbow roll pretty good.
Also, Monday-​Thursday 3:00 — 6:00 is Happy Hour. It is $ 1 off sushi and sushi rolls. There are also discounts off of alcohol and appetizers.
I recommend you check this place out. I know I will be back.

Yes, I’m part Japanese. No, I’m not a huge fan of sushi or even Asian food for that matter but I do like this place.
I actually remember coming to this location back when it was Shakey’s Pizzeria (not that old, I was little!!). Place is clean and has a cool décor. Service is great (they always remember my little girl’s love of masago and always deliver a bowl of it to her upon walking in the door). Could also be they can’t forget the tiny 7 year old who can eat obnoxious amounts of ANY kind of sushi and therefore are trying to entertain her with the sticky stuff so she doesn’t eat their entire inventory.
All their food has been good, fresh and beautiful to the eye. And yes, we’ve tried a vast array of their items due to that kid of mine.
