I’ve had good experiences for a while with this company from installation of a tankless water heater to preventive AC maintenance. Unfortunately my latest experience was so bad, I will not use EMMCO again. I was charged for 12 man-​hours of work on the Spring cooler maintenance of 4 coolers at a property I own. It is simply not realistic for 3 men to take care of this in 4 hrs. Ed was simply unamenable to my disbelief; he gave me a song and dance about the relative difficulties of AC vs swamp cooling work, and refused to discuss it further. Later I discovered that one of the coolers which needed 32 inch pads was fitted with 30 inch pad.

I’ve used EMMCo twice in the past year for repairs to my 21 year old HVAC system. Both times the service was on time and professional. Most recently, Ed came out the same day I called them and was able to get me back up and running in less than an hour after replacing a bad capacitor. My interactions with EMMCo have left me feeling confident in their ability to solve problems efficiently without selling me something I don’t need. EMMCo will be first on my list when I replace my system. I highly recommend them.

Ed is the most honest and reliable A/​C guy i have ever used. On the hottest day of the year our a/​c went out. Ed came out Saturday 4 hours after I called. He replaced a bad $ 6.00 part. about a month later my a/​c went out again. Ed came out within hours and found a bad electrical connection on the part he put in last trip. No charge! he could have told me it needed a new compressor for $ 1500 and i would have gotten it.

I have both residential and commercial units that EMMCO takes care of for us. They always work to get to us early as possible (in the HEAT) and always find the problem quickly. They have a can-​do attitude and just get it done with no wasted time. I recommend them all the time. It is a great relief to have someone you can depend upon, everytime.

Had AC issues just after we bought this house. American Home Shield would reset something, get the unit working and leave. Gave up on them and called Emmco. Got right down to the problem. The mother board was burnt to a crisp. They jumped around it while they got a new mother board, replaced it and things have been fine since. Like three years. Emmco gets high marks (as you can see in my rating). This does not speak very well for AHS. They should have replaced the mother board. It would seem they took the easy way out.
