Fanny’s Fox Den

I love burlesque and attend many shows in Tucson. I guess I would be a groupie! Fanny’s Fox Den is a unique dance studio featuring an eclectic mix of classes (Go-​Go, Intro to Burlesque, Ballroom Burlesque, Burlesque yoga, hula hoop dance, etc). Fanny and all the teachers at the Fox Den are friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Whether you want to take a fun class, learn the burlesque basics to actual performing burlesque, you will be pleased with the teachers and the courses.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experiences at Fanny’s Fox Den. Inside you’ll find a safe environment to express yourself and discover you sexuality at whatever level you’re comfortable with. I’ve taken classes from Fanny Galore (The Headmistress of Hot herself), Matt Finish, Olivia Twisted, Scarlotta Sparkle, and Lola Torch/​Natasha Noir at the Fox Den.
I’ve taken private lessons and Burlesque 202 with Fanny herself. I’m a performer, but even if you’re not ready for that level, there’s Burlesque FUNdamentals and Beg/​Intro burlesque, as well as many other fun classes.
At the moment I’m enjoying «Ballroom Burlesque» with Scarlotta Sparkle and «Yoga for Burlesque» with Oliva Twisted. Both are great so far, and I really think I can use a lot of the great technique that Scarlotta is teaching in my routines. I can’t wait to implement it.
Lola and Natasha’s «Clearing Your Pathway Confidence» is amazing and I think every woman should take this class. You come out purged and stronger. It was an incredible experience.
I’ve also taken «Flirty n’ Fit» w/​Matt Finish, and my GOD, does that fella work you. I came out of it more flexible and with increased upper body strength. It also didn’t hurt that Mr. Finish is HILARIOUS and made me laugh… even through crunches.

I took Burlesque FUNdamentals with Fanny Galore a couple of times and absolutely LOVED them! Even though each class was meant as a one-​off class, the focus and content was different each time. Fanny has an extensive background in teaching and performing jazz dance, and it shows in her excellent class structure, teaching style, and experience. Besides all of these great qualities, her suggestion to imagine a character during the planning and performing of a routine brought me to the next level. I had such a wonderful time that I bought classes for a few of my friends (who also loved them). Highly recommended, you will NOT regret it!
