We had dinner there on January 14th. The Beet Salad was okay… just okay. The portion was small for the price, and it looked as though it had been prepared earlier, perhaps wrapped in plastic wrap, and then unwrapped to be served… everything was sort of smashed together on the plate. My friends steak was ordered Medium and served Med Rare and floating in butter. The fries were lukewarm. Service was pleasant and friendly and beverages were kept full. Then we had breakfast on January 16th and 17th. The staff were all smiling and friendly… they seemed to want to help… but there also seemed to be a big gap in organization. On both mornings, the buffet ran out of plates and food. When the food was replenished, the portions put out were small… even though the restaurant and the bar were packed with people. If you weren’t standing at the buffet, waiting for more food to come out… then by the time you got from your table to the buffet and waited in line… the food was gone again. On both mornings… I ate my toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon at differing times because if there were eggs… there was no bacon, if there was bacon there were no eggs… and the loaf of bread was over 30 minutes in appearing. There was also something else we encountered. The tables had napkins, forks, and knifes… but no spoons. Coffee was offered to us on both mornings… and we asked for cream and Splenda… which were quickly provided. And when we said ‘there are no spoons’…the waitress on each morning said ‘yes, we don’t roll them in the napkins anymore because people are stealing them’…so then we smiled and said …‘well can we have spoons please?’ … spoons never arrived, so we used our knives. Now… if you, as a waitress, know there are no spoons on the table, and you also know your customer wants cream and sweetener for their coffee… wouldn’t you bring a spoon when you deliver the cream? It was clean and the staff IS friendly… they just need some good old fashioned direction.

Avoid this place for lunch or dinner. They are not staffed to handle more than few customers at a time. The limited menu is overpriced. The restaurant is connected to the double tree(also below standard) and the La Qunita.

Basic menu that has drink items on the menu that are no longer being served… Why still have it on the menu? Terrible servers… Probably because there is one employee working both the bar and restaurant area. Also felt a little uneasy when I ordered a salad and the sever says«that salad is not looking too good tonight. Also my Crown and ginger ale was weak.

This place gets a lot of foot traffic from the nearby hotels. The guy at the Hampton recommended it to me do I walked 2 doors down. I sat at the bar 3 nights in a row and ordered 3 different menu items. The food was average at best, overpriced, and the kegs were blown one night. I would say don’t bother but choices are so limited near the airport. At least the staff, and most of the clientele, are friendly.

Better service these days earns an extra star. Free Hilton beers help as well. Food is not bad for hotel grub. Always at least a couple of drinkable crafts on tap.

After a long day of driving we were ready for dinner. Pub food sounded great and this place wasn’t far from our hotel. When we came in the bartender told us to sit anywhere, it wasn’t crowded(Saturday night at 8:00) and we found a nice table for two. Our server came right over to take drink orders. We asked a couple questions about the menu and decided on wings and sliders. We also ordered a margarita and a long island iced tea. The service was prompt and the food good. The drinks were not great. My margarita tasted like undiluted limeade. Disappointing. My husband wasn’t impressed with his drink either. This place is located in the Doubletree and we probably wouldn’t come back here unless we were staying here and just didn’t want to drive anywhere

Pretty empty at 8ish on a Saturday but from what I can tell Tucson is a pretty quiet place. Anyway, came in with the husband and our sons. Was open seating so we settled down and not even minutes later someone was bringing us menus, high chairs and taking drink orders. They bought out menus and crayons for my boys and were hanging around talking to my sons(people tend to do this often, they are really cute boys). Ordered BBQ wings, the standard burger, my husband got the Tucson burger and I got sliders and corn dogs for my boys. All food was cooked very well, had great flavor. The wings were very good and not too messy, I hate messy wings. The burger was cooked medium well just like I asked. We like all the tables were brought out warm chips and salsa both were very, good. And I’m not a salsa fan but I’m pretty sure I could eat this by the truckload. The manager was very sweet and kind, and honestly people just kept checking on us the whole time and again, she said she was missing her grand babies so she gave my littles a lot of attention but not in a creepy way. Lol. Anyway my kid won’t sleep without a cup of milk and this and our hotel is pretty far away so I was dreading driving all over to find milk. We asked the manager and she bought out not one, not two, but three containers of school milk for my son and didn’t charge us a bit. They bought out my check without delay and boxes and bags and we had the best experience dining with two kids(especially my ‘active’ 2 year old) we’ve ever had. He’s never this behaved I may ask the manager to move in with us since she obviously is a toddler whisperer. If in the area, come here I don’t think you’ll regret it. It’s not Ruth Cris but it’s good service, good food and a good price point and you can’t beat the convenience if you stay in the area. It’s connected to the Doubletree btw.

Had to eat here for the conference I was attending. Staff was rude. Food was amazing. I had wonderful grilled chicken sliders. Prices were great. Don’t think I’ll be back with service staff like that. The 3rd star is given for the yummy iced tea I had to get up from the table and track the lady behind the bar down for.

Breakfast buffet is a busy place. There’s a lack of attention to detail. The staff often disappears. We eat here due to the convenience. Give it a try. Don’t know about lunch or dinner.

The food was good but towards the ends my family and I were splitting the bill and they charged my family the the right amount but ran my credit card last and charged me the full amount of $ 250 I talked with the director and all he can say is i don’t know what to say we’ll refund it but will take a few days. I don’t have of couple of days for $ 250. I told them I’m not from here and I just can’t come back if something is wrong and all the director could say is sorry can’t help you.

Linda L got it right. Easily the worst food in a long time.

Great sliders and burgers. Would definitely go back for those. The only downside– not much of a happy hour. A bunch of my co-workers went there for happy hour for the first time– but only one special $ 3.00 Coors light– yuck! No specials on food or anything else. With so many other places to choose from– this place should really rethink their prices to draw in some happy hour customers.

All these complainers and whiners made us hesitant to try this place. But stuck out at a nearby airport hotel, we really didn’t have too many options. The weather was bad, and we just didn’t want to go very far. So we took the short drive over to Finnegan’s at the Doubletree and from the minute we sat down were glad that we did. Our server, Alyssa, was new to dinner service but did her best to assist us on the menu items. Plus she was just all around friendly and attentive. Truthfully, no matter how good the food is, when the service is bad it ruins the entire meal. The service we experienced was fantastic. For the reviewer who was upset that there was only one burger, news for you. There was a whole selection of burgers. I had the pub burger and it was delicious, though admittedly I’m partial to «real» cheese, not processed cheddar… that was the only disappointment. The burger itself was very tasty and really deserved good cheese. The warm chips and salsa were delicious, and for those who watch their carbs, and don’t like artificial sweeteners, they have TRUVIA in their sweetener selection. My husband had the Reuben, and being a Reuben aficionado, I trust he’s right when he said it was delicious. The Fries were hot and fresh and I even had a salad. The salad was actually a pleasant surprise. Getting a fresh side salad of spring mix with a tasty balsamic vinaigrette with a burger isn’t that common unless you pay extra at most places. So, good food, good service and good atmosphere. All in all, this was a very good experience.

Not bad at all. Quick service and friendly staff. I was stranded overnight and this place was recommended by a nearby hotel. No complaints. Beer was good and burger was tasty. Considering the location is was very good.

Atmosphere: It’s an odd color of paint, but they do have the TV’s you’d expect at a pub. It’s usually a pretty good atmosphere with people unwinding from the hotel next door. No complaints really. Food: This is an odd one for me. It’s a very odd assortment of food, especially for an «Irish Pub». You go from bar food(pretzels and wings) to the typical shepherds pie, to a seared ahi tuna steak. The pretzel is delicious, wings overdone, the chicken was decent but I had the sauce changed from the red pepper sauce to the ponzu sauce. They do chips and salsa for free that’s very tasty, but the first time I ate the chips they were stale. Pricing: Appetizers from 4 – 10 bucks, entrée’s from 12 – 24 bucks. The food’s not terribly priced, just not terribly fantastic either. The only thing that bothered me was the relatively high cost of beers. It was 4.50 for a draft beer. Service: Never been disappointed here. They are always friendly, very expedient. Overall. The food is meh, the pricing is alright. I’m left with a general feeling of mediocrity when I eat here. A little too hit or miss to rate a 3 star it would have if the food was more consistent.

Yum! This was exactly what we needed to end our night. My daughter and I came in to get some dessert before we headed to our room. Unlike some hotel restaurants that are littered with surly staff members we were greeted with smiles and had a nicely packaged dessert and were ready to call it a night in a matter of minutes! The server had our food prepared in a very timely fashion which really helps when you have a child with you. We will definitely head downstairs for breakfast!

Wow, this place easily wins first place for the worst food I’ve had for a long time! First, I ordered the seared tuna salad. It was an impossible combination of bland and too salty– I couldn’t get myself to have a second bite. I asked for something that is generally well regarded by customers and was offered a reuben sandwich. Reuben wasn’t much better– still inedible, over-salted meat that tasted like cheapest meat they could get. Even coffee was worse than the kind you can make in your hotel room and I was charged a whopping 3 $ for it! Do yourself a huge favor and find another place to eat. There are several places in the area with higher ratings here on Unilocal. The hotel will take you within a few miles range.

Our waitress(unfortunately, I cannot remember her name) was very nice, and did a good job. The food was bland, flavorless, boring crap.

Came by to try and win Vince Neil tickets. If you get Alyssa, move to a different section. She seemed nice, but wow was the service slow. The wings were good, but 20 minutes between when she stopped by. I had to actually go find her after waiting another 20 minutes to get our bill. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you almost have no server.

After a friend spoke of the happy hour here I decided to check it out. They have a huge beer selection. Free chips and salsa. During happy hour they bring out complimentary warm snacks. They do offer food from the menu but I haven’t tried it. One annoying thing is that the stools at the bar don’t move and they are about three inches too far apart. Drove me nuts. But overall, the service was good, the prices were good and I will add it to my random happy hour hangouts.
