I was expecting more. My local San Jose Fry’s has all kinds of cool snacks. This was just an average grocery store(not even as good as Safeway) and it was crawling with slow and elderly patrons, hard to even get down an aisle quickly with all the bad bad cart driving. JEEZ… On the way in to the store they did have a platter of doughnut holes and free coffee. I did not partake at the time, but decided I would on the way out. But outta luck — the platter was empty. :(

I have been shopping around. I guess I didn’t realize how good it was at my local Frys. Safeway is good. Albertsons is okay too. I even weathered the FOODCITY and picked up some awesome produce and marinated meat. But then I found the Fry’s web-site and some great deals. I planned my weekly grocery trip back to my local Fry’s! It was like going home! I not only ran into several old friends in the aisles but many of the employees there have been around a long time, signs of a good company to work for. Bottom line, Frys is working hard to make your shopping experience better. And it shows. Thanks Frys!

I tend to shop at fries mainly because I get the fuel points so I could save on gas they typically have pretty good sales on Wednesdays and I love the fact that they always double your coupons up to a dollar, right now they have a good deal on the chinet paper plates 299 after the coupon and store sale for 72 plates which is a very good deal & chinet paper plates are very good plates

OK – despite the frustrations I have with this grocery store, I must say that I was very grateful after my visit today. I absentmindedly left my smart phone in the basket, returning 20 minutes later to look for it. Someone had turned it into customer service and I found that whoever it was didn’t even both to look through my stuff. I felt so grateful. Whoever you are beautiful stranger, thank you!

Well, the thing about Frys is they cater to the neighborhood its located in. That can be good and bad. This is one of the older locations, however they just finished redoing the produce area and it looks like the deli and bakery may be next(yay!) I come to this Frys because it is close and they have a gas station and prices are good. The major complaints I have for this location: Bagged salad stays on the shelf too long, I cannot get a wedge of fresh Parmesan here(or any other artisan cheeses), the salmon is not cut right, and the deli does not carry prosciutto, no olive bar, and horrible liquor/wine selection. The good news is: They carry all the peppers you could want. The asian selection of items is pretty good, and they do have a decent selection of red meat. Like I said, Frys caters to the location of town they are in. For most of my everyday shopping this is an okay store. But if I want deli meats, specialty cheese, or produce such as chard — I am headed to Safeway or Frys on Grant.
