I was originally very pleased with Top Spa Nails, but sadly I am no longer. Let me start this out with saying the women who work here are fantastic– kind, sweet, and very personable. However, the men here are absolutely terrible. My first pedicure here was from Tina, but when I came back for a second one a few weeks later, she was unavailable, so I was taken back by some man who was SERIOUSLY way too rough & made my big toe bleed. I asked many times for him to please not be so heavy handed, and all he did was laugh. Okay, note taken don’t get pedicures from this man. Next time, I get a different man to apply my acrylic nails. I left with a less than mediocre set of acrylic, parts of the tip weren’t glued, acrylic was lumpy & uneven. His station was an absolute mess. I’m assuming he is new because I’ve never seen him there before. I dealt with the bad acrylic & many broken nails over the course of two weeks, and made the mistake of going BACK and then I get the same guy! Ugh! Really needed a fill so I sucked it up. Once again, nails not even & tips not glued properly. Not to mention, he is a major asshole & insults your natural nails the whole time, «thank god you have me to fix these messy things.» And«you really don’t take care of yourself, I can tell.» So rude. I have taken my business to a different salon.

$ 32 for a regular manicure pedicure? And the place is a bit run down and cluttered? Coming from california where everything is super expensive I must say I thought it would be way cheaper to get one here in Tucson. I walked right out.

AWESOMEWORK. Kim and Tony are great people and do great work. They are all friendly, the salon is clean and most of all you are treated with respect and your nails and toes look wonderful. They make you feel great by the time you leave there.

To me, any nail salon that is unsanitary gets a single star. The last time I got a fill here, the tools on my technicians station looked like they hadn’t been disinfected in months. Made me feel a little sick inside. Also the floors and baseboard were pretty nasty as well. I will not be going back here.

I love Top Spa Nails. Especially Kim, she does great work. I’m incredibly hard on nails. Not only because of my job but bad habits also. I pick at them constantly and if i find a rough spot or an edge I’m like a dog with a bone and usually by the time I need a fill I’ve managed to break or pry off several and if I have more than 3 missing I just pry them all off and go back to my natural, ugly short nails until a special occasion has me getting a new set again. Every other time I’ve ever had nails they only last me about 3 fills worth of time before I’ve pried them all off. But with Kim’s fills I’ve actually been able to keep my nails on for 12 fills(I know this because if my frequent fillers card) I always get compliments in how nice and natural my nails look. I had to get a fill one time at another place while I was out of town and I hated it. Kim does them perfectly. Nice shape and not to thick. I won’t go anywhere else EVER!

I feel like regardless of what nail salon I try, I never have a great experience. Either the specialist is too rough or my nails end up warped or falling off a week later. I’m happy to say that my bad luck streak is over. Stupidly, I never thought to try the salon that’s almost literally behind my house because 1. that would make too much sense, and 2. nothing good is ever close to my house so why should this place be any different? I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was empty. One thing I noticed right off was that it smelled amazing. The woman who did my nails was friendly, quick, and gentle. When she was finished, my nails looked perfect. This was three weeks ago. I actually want my nails to fall off or come loose enough for me to pry them off at this point, but they’re still on as solid as ever. I imagine this is a good thing for most women. The cost was average, I was extremely happy with the service, and I don’t think I’ll be trying another nail salon any time soon.
