Game Daze

If you want something new and unique to play, you have to go to Game Daze! This store is awesome! They have all sorts of games and toys and puzzles that you’re not likely to find easily anywhere else in town. We spent a lot of time in here just looking at all the games we’ve never even heard of, but seem like a lot of fun. We ended up at the puzzle section, because that’s what we like best. They have a lot of standard puzzles, which is nice. They also have a pretty large selection of the really hard puzzles — the ones with no edges, or that have extra pieces, or are ridiculous shapes. We settled on one of these.
While we were at the register, my husband noticed some really cool, small metal-​like plane/​building/​boat models. They weren’t too expensive, so he decided to pick one up after looking through the many choices he had in front of him. He’s been wanting to get back into building models, and this is a little bit different, so it looks like fun!
The prices seemed many a trifle high in general, but where else can you find some of this stuff in town? I don’t mind paying a few extra bucks to have stores with such variety of unique and exciting items.
While we were in Game Daze, they had a table set up with a puzzle on it and they invited customers to help build the puzzle. Some kids were there giving it a try. That’s really fun and awesome, and a great way to encourage creativity and positive social interaction in kids (and adults, too)! I totally would have spent a lot of time here as a kid if I had something like this in the little town I grew up in, but alas, I wasn’t so privileged.
The staff was really friendly and very eager to help. The overall experience my husband and I had walking through Game Daze was fun and whimsical. I just hope the puzzle doesn’t drive us nuts.

Awesome place to buy AND play all sorts games! Don’t be surprised if you walk in and get pulled into a «party» game in progress. There are tons of board/​card games you can play while there. The store clerks are fun, knowledgeable, and provide zero pressure when assisting you in your game-​xploring. The prices are reasonable; definitely not above average for popular board games. They just moved to a bigger space within the mall and host Magic T.G. games every Monday, from 4−9pm. This is a store we always stop at when in the mall.
