Our next door neighbor had termite treatment when she moved into her new home last year. We took their business card at that time and kept it for the future. Well, we had some rotten wood around a door frame. Called in a carpenter and he said it was a sign of terminates. So a new project had reared its ugly head. Homeowners woes. Now to start screening pest management companies. Keeping my neighbors termite man in back of my mind. Checking BBB, Unilocal,and Angie’s list. We did have another pest company come out that had rated well on Unilocal.But there was no review for termite treatments. The gentleman from this company came out. We felt they were sort of were overkill guys and wanted to spray foam inside our house digging holes in walls. We would have to repaint. Wasn’t too pleased with this approach. Plus of course digging outside. Also mentioning bait traps which would be visible. We had Shawn from Gecko come out and he throughly checked everything and sent us a proposal. He was most pleasant and very knowledgable about how the technician would accomplish this. They trench some areas and spray as well as holes around patio and garage. They spray the concoction into the holes and then patch up with a putty. We got a five year guarantee. Adam was the tech guy and also was so neat and efficient. Very professional. So far we are very satisfied with their promptness, knowledge, and neatness.
