I took 2 friends there for a massage after seeing a sign on the street. I wanted a massage too but only 2 therapists were available that evening. I sat in Lobby and read while they got massages. A few weeks later, I returned for my own massage. The lady was efficient. I wanted the $ 37 for 50 minute Swedish massage. She made sure I understood it’s «only light pressure.» I wondered if her insistence would mean«lotion application» pressure or a real Swedish massage. I got the feeling she was warning me, «for $ 37, I’m not putting in much effort.» There was no paperwork, no «any areas of concern?», no health history. The table was heated and soft. She started out with nervous chatter. I refreshed her memory that I brought/referred 3 recent customers, as she didn’t seem to recognize me. The massage was fair, average. The sheets were thread bare and seemed/felt oily(used)… She massaged me for 45 of the 50 minutes, less than a minute on feet. There is a sign in the massage room that says 20% tip makes them smile. Evidently my $ 6 instead of the $ 7.40 bored her. She never even looked up from behind the counter. Never smiled. Never inquired about my experience. She gave me my receipt and said thanks. OK on massage, fail on customer service/spa feel. No pampered feel. I felt herded thru and like she wanted this to be a one time visit. No problem there.
