IHOP

Worst service ever. Not sure how anyone up front got hired. No organization skills at all. F all around. I tell the manager how terrible the service is and all he says is «ouch» and does absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Then the girl at the front starts making snarky remarks about not being organized, clearly jabbing at me. Apparently they can’t handle the truth. I like ihop but will never step foot in this one again.

Nice and convenient place. I’m a truck driver and there’s also space to park your truck and get it delicious food from the restaurant.

I decided to take my family to IHOP for the kids eat free, that was touted on the website. When we arrived there was hardly anyone, but it quickly filled up. My sister commented that «we must have been put in the training section». Our food took forever to come out, and my son and brothers food took an extra 10 min to arrive. All of this with no refills until after their food came out. My brother had to return his soup due to it being ice cold. We were offered 10% off, and once I got the bill… no children eat free. The waitress said that the marketing dept always screws everything up…$ 70 later… will go to Texas Roadhouse or Cracker Barrel from now on. Not worth it.

Hey, hey, hey — the menu has improved — and, Matt, you are a gem of a server! You got the tip to prove it, didn’t you! Great breakfast opportunity. This particular restaurant deserves better reviews than what it’s getting!

Excellent waitress. Manager stood there at the next table and articulated his political views loudly throughout the whole time we had breakfast. Swedish pancakes came without butter. Waitress was awesome but if the manager stopped yacking he may pay closer attention to the quality of food served. Hummmm you think.

Now I’m usually a Denny’s guy but we were close and tired so we wanted something different. Stopped in late, bout 10:30pm for a late dinner. Maybe one other person dining at the time. The girl sits us down, she was nice hence the one star but everything else was a disaster.
My wife ordered a patty melt and I ordered the Chicken n Waffles for funsies. Asked for a side of gravy. They gave my wife some sort of roast beef sandwich but the meat looked so bad it made her wanna gag. Plus the poor excuse for a baby handful of fries on her plate was sad. My Chicken strips were ok as I took one bite but my gravy was so watered down it looked like clumpy milk. Oh and btw, you have a fried chicken dinner on your menu, why would you put chicken strips and not real fried chicken in your chicken and waffles dish? But what got me was the batter for my waffles just wasn’t right.
We had no problem telling the waitress what was wrong and yes she offered to have everything replaced but we just felt that it was just way too much to try to repair all at once. And to have to wait another half hour? No thank you. Not sure if the chef in the back was a new guy or just having a bad day but it was just all bad, all bad! We paid for our drinks and got wings from the Wingstop. Think I’ll stick to Denny’s and Jerry Bobs!

Our wait time for our seats took about 5 minutes but the wait time for our food was well over 40 minutes. We would have left but we figured after 40 minutes our food had to be coming out soon enough. We asked both our waiter and another waiter why the wait time was so long. Apparently they hadn’t planned for the day and they were surprised they were so busy. They had both managers and even servers cooking in the back. After a good 50 minutes we finally got our food. Despite the long wait our food was pretty much perfect. Our omelette a and pancakes were warm and cooked to perfection, and our hash browns had the right amount of crisp. Even our bacon (which is usually either too flabby or to crunchy) was the perfect mix between crunchy and chewy. I’d have rated them higher if they hadn’t been so slow on the wait times.
