She challenged me, inspired me, and taught me simple but practical tools I use every day to continually better myself. She guided me through blocks in my creative process, confidence, ego, daily happiness and much more which allowed me to finally accomplish my dream of writing and performing a solo theater show!!!

Hiring Katie is the single best thing I’ve done for my artistic career in the past five years. Maybe ever.
A little over two years ago, I contacted Katie because I was looking for some direction. I had recently quit an academic job to focus on my creative work as a writer/​director/​performer. While I was making work at the time, it felt scattered and not quite connected to my deepest passions. I was finally identifying as an artist, but I needed some help figuring out what I wanted to contribute. Over the course of three fun, powerfully transformative months, Katie helped me dig up all of the things that were getting in the way of recognizing and following my inner guidance. It felt like I had been unknowingly carrying around suitcases full of junk for years, and Katie helped me see the suitcases and start unpacking them. There was a lot of gnarly stuff in there.
Fast forward to today — It feels SO GOOD be making art without as much of that junk weighing me down. I’m doing things I never thought I would do and having a blast. I feel more like myself than I ever have. And whenever I feel stuck, Katie is still there to help me unpack more of my baggage and figure out how to move forward!

Katie is a truly wonderful coach. But even more importantly, she is a kind, generous, thoughtful, insightful human being and she brings these aspects of herself into her coaching. Working towards change and moving towards authenticity is not always easy. This process requires bravery, courage, tenacity, and and the ability to look at and let go of old stories, habits, and defenses that no longer serve. While I have been challenged every step of the way, I have also been supported every step of the way. I inherently and immediately trusted Katie and that made all the difference in the world. In addition to sharing exercises and techniques, she walks the walk in the way she is in the world. She also is open to listening and has been supportive of me in taking from the coaching the practices and ideas that serve me and in letting go those that don’t fit. I would recommend Katie to anyone who is ready to create change in his or her life. Her goal is to have as many people as possible expressing themselves most authentically in the world because she believes that will make the world a more beautiful, buoyant, creative place. I couldn’t agree more.

Katie is a wonderful caring person who is very open minded and pro-​change. I have, after my sessions with Katie I was able to look at life in a whole new aspect I would have never thought of. I am grateful for this because the world has been a happier and easier place. I have accomplished so much since then and proud of who I am and where I am with Katie’s help. I am continuing her practice through my daily routines and recommend her sessions for those who are ready for that step for serenity and clarity.

I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship with Katie, and to anyone who is considering working with her, I’d say — if I had the money, I would have paid her 5 times her rate! And I want all my creative friends to work with her! There are so many reasons I love working with Katie (and will continue to do so after my scholarship ends). After some huge life transitions, she helped me re-​discover and begin work toward my goals emotionally, financially, in relationships, and in my creative work. Every session with Katie was slightly life-​changing, and even though that sounds like a bold statement, it’s absolutely true. She has a way of guiding me to figure out what the best goal for the week, month, or year is — of helping me discover it for myself. And she does this through active exercises with her one-​on– one, envisioning, recommended reading, and ongoing daily work I do on my own. The work with Katie feels totally practical and yet it’s helping me think and work in brand new ways.

Katie’s work is meaningful and life changing. She has a gift. I can not recommend her enough.
