Moodz Salon

I am not from Tucson but was visiting for the holidays and needed to get my color corrected (I will spare you the details). So, I purchased the Groupon and gave this salon a try. I was so pleased! Check out the pics… Laura was able to get rid of the redish brown mistake made by the last salon and give me the bright blond color back. My only problem now, is that this salon is in Tucson and I am in Scottsdale :). Seriously though, she did a great job and was an absolute pleasure to talk to. A genuine down to earth person, Laura was a pleasure to be around. My hair and my day were made brighter because of Moodz! I will be back!

Don’t go here. The owner is friendly and personable, but my hair is totally destroyed thanks to her.
I went in for blonde highlights and an all over color. My hair was a light almost platinum blonde and I wanted to go to a darker, golden blonde. When we were finished, my roots were bright orange. I went back the next morning to get it fixed, and my hair was dark brown after that. I had to go to a wedding the next day and I do not look good as a brunette. So I went back again in hopes of getting what I paid for, and the result was probably worse than the initial bright orange. My hair now has the dark brown base from the second time, and ashy blonde highlights with a greenish tint. Not at all the golden blonde I wanted when I made my appointment! My hair is so damaged now, and Laura knew it. She wouldn’t even blow dry and style it when she was done because it was falling out. She told me not to use and heat on it, and «at least it’s blonde again!»
Even if this greenish blonde was the color I wanted (it’s not even close), there are several spots that were so poorly done anyway (see photo). I went back two times after the initial appointment to let her fix it, and it kept getting worse. And she knew I was unhappy and how damaged my hair had become, but she didn’t offer me my money back or anything. Granted, she did make time to try and correct it after the first time, but as a business owner she should have done a lot more because she knew I was dissatisfied and that my hair is pretty much ruined.
If you value your hair at all, avoid this place. I’ve gotten better results at Cost Cutters.

I feel like i have to warn people not to go here. The owner/​stylist has no idea what she is doing.
DO NOT get highlights or a hair cut. I had to go home and re-​dye my hair after her highlights mess… it was that bad.

I found Moodz because of a groupon. I’m so glad I did. I got a haircut and highlights, Laura was awesome, she took her time and my hair turned out great. I love it. The salon is clean and welcoming.

Great facials and pedicures! Highly recommend. Got the valentines package as a gift– pedicure, facial and hair style. Nice facility, clean environment, professional staff, central location.

It’s a clean friendly environment. I got a shellac manicure done and it turned out wonderful! I will for sure continue to go!
