I really loved the mani I received at Nails-Go-Round. Best holiday gift ever!

I came here because my husband got me a Groupon for my birthday. I got the manicure and pedicure. It was super clean inside. The ladies were really nice. The lady who did my nails was really nice, but didn’t really talk to me at all. She did take longer than I’m used to, about 2.5 hours to do my mani and pedi. Only complaint, less than 24 hours after I got my nails done, my fingernail polish started to chip on about 3 of my nails. I called back to see if I could get it repaired but since it wasn’t gel, she said nothing was guaranteed and I would have to pay $ 10 for the repair. I wasn’t too happy about that. My husband had already left a $ 10 tip and he didn’t think we should have to pay more for something that’s not really our fault. I’m not sure if I’ll being going back again, because I only get my nails done 2 a year at the very most and this was a special treat since it was my birthday and it just made me super sad that my nails already look crappy.

Never even got to go to the place. I was recommended by one of my groups to contact these ladies and make an appointment, stating they were amazing. I called and left a message never received a call back. I called again and the phone just rang and rang and went back to voicemail. I was hoping I would be able to see someone there since everyone raved about it but apparently not. I did call during the week, during business hours so I’m not sure what happened.

I bought a living social deal here and with all the great reviews I thought I couldn’t pass up the deal. I definitely should have. First off, I drove by the sketchy house turned nail salon and thought… there is no way I am getting my nails done here. It looks incredibly unprofessional from the outside. However, again, due to the good reviews and since I had already paid for the deal, I figured what the heck! The looks of the inside do make up for the outside, but the service did not. I received the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The nail polish was literally poured onto my toes. I immediately drove up to Flagstaff after the appointment and even after the 4 hour drive there were spots that hadn’t dried yet! I ended up just taking it all off at that point and painting them myself. I also got the shellac manicure. This did come out better than the pedicure, however the color that I picked and the color that was put on my nails was definitely not the same. Usually shellac can last at least 2 – 3 weeks… this lasted about a week and a half before it started chipping off. Needless to say, I would never go back.

I’ve been going to Nails-Go-Round for 17 years and have always been so happy with my services. I get acrylics and have never had an issue with lifting or breaking. The gel polish is the best! I am able to walk out of the salon with no worry of smudge or nicks no matter what I do. I highly recommend any of the techs, they all do a wonderful job and are extremely pleasant and professional. The best part — they care about their clients and each other.

Whenever I’m in Tucson, I get my nails done here. I like this place a lot. They’ve recently remodeled the interior, so it’s got a cute new atmosphere. The techs are nice, and go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. I usually get a french, but I’ve seen some of their custom nail art and it’s pretty incredible: especially their holiday nail art. I don’t usually do the nail art thing– but I’d definitely go here for my a french, maybe a bridal, gel polish, or acrylics.

At first slightly sketched out about the outside of the building and the neighborhood, BUT looks clean and professional inside and the woman doing my nails was really nice and helped me decide constructively between colors I was debating. She was easy to talk to and super nice. Got a French manicure with shellac and regular pedicure. There are a couple of small details that if I had the time I would ask to be re-done on my nails(I’m a perfectionist), but I had to run out. They aren’t a big deal, though, I will just make sure to give myself more time next time. I had a really good experience here and look forward to using my second visit Groupon.

Do not give this place your business! I received the worst pedicure and manicure anywhere I have been in Tucson. That’s pretty hard in this town… The regular prices are very inflated so they always have a Groupon special to try to get back the clients they lost. The women were the rudest cattiest shrews I have ever dealt with! They would even answer normal questions without a racist snotty remark about Asians. What a nightmare! There is one tiny bathroom in the back of this converted house and I waited ten minutes to use it, when a woman ran in front of me. This place is a tiny dump and the service is horrible. I was not offered pedicure flops, told there was no quick dry spray & watched a white trash family squabble. It was not entertaining. Go to a nice salon. It’s the same price and you won’t be treated like you’re garbage. ESP. If you have a coupon! Be warned ladies. The attitude was astounding!!! The service was even worse. Total white trash absurd home converted business with dog barking & everything! Amazing, All they needed was the rebel flag & an Elvis shrine. Incredibly unprofessional! You’re going to be so sorry if you have any class or manners at all. This town! These Groupons are awful too!

My first visit was a pleasant surprise. The place is situated on W. Roger Rd. west of Oracle a few blocks on the left side of the road. I knew it was a little red house so it was easy to find. Not really impressive on the outside, however, when you step inside you are in a purply, spotlessly clean and kitschy place. There are only two stations for the manicures as well as two chairs(massaging) for the pedi’s. I liked that it wasn’t like a factory. Had a real personal touch. I had gotten a Groupon for this place and for me it makes pampering myself something undeniably guilt free!!! There was even a Keurig coffee machine for clients. Very nice gesture of the part of the owner. Both procedures took 1 ½ hours. I liked the extra time pampering those body parts of mine that get so abused. Meaning of course, the hands and feet. Did you think anything else. The two ladies seemed like they love what they do and it reflected on the treatment I received from them. A great” Go to Place” for some extra attention.
