Neo of Melaka

This restaurant is duplicated on Unilocal.I reported them to the health inspector. Such a shame to see they are still open as they serve rotten, raw food.

Be very, very careful when ordering anything at Neo of Melaka if you have allergies. We recently were part of a party of six that went there for dinner. It WAS (note the past tense) one of our favorite places and we had recommended it to the group. We were very sorry later. One of our party has seafood allergies. He very carefully explained to our waitress that he could not have shrimp in the dish he was ordering. She said «no problem». When the dish arrived, he took one sip (it was a soup) and knew, in fact, that we had a problem! An epi-​pen and lots of water later, we all survived, but he will never return. Previously, we had noticed that they were rather casual about descriptions of their entrees. There are peanuts in many items, but the menu does not say so.

The food is AWESOME. !! I just love it, everything on the menu is so flavorful. It’s my favorite asian restaurant in Tucson. They can accommodate large groups for special events. Graduation, baby showers, birthdays, or simply a dinner date. The food tastes great and they are clean. Great for families too
