My friend took me here on my last night in town and it was great. Amazing prices for a TON of food. A great dive.

An old-fashioned neighborhood bar that features cheap eats & draft beer in a setting that boasts a pool table, great juke box & free, freshly popped corn — what’s not to like? I’ve been there 3 X &2nite will be my 4th visit. I’ve had the wing special — $ 3.75/dz w/3 sauce choices, $.50 tacos on Sundays & the $ 6 all u can eat fish fry. Tonight I’ll op for the 22 oz caveman-sized porter house for only $ 15! p.s — the food is tasty & the staff is friendly pps — they do upcharge $ 1 when using a credit card

Worst service ever! Waited over an hour and 15 minutes for our steak last night, and it never came! Had to leave… hungry. Waitress refused to bring our table a drink… said we had to go inside to post a drink order. Really? We’re here for dinner and our waitress doesn’t do drinks? It smelled great, and we’ve heard great things about this place, but the table next to ours was littered in trash and cigarettes for the hour too, and the people on the others side of us had to wait over 20 minutes just for their check! Worst service I’ve had in years! This place has fallen from what it once possibly was! Hire some real wait staff, and manage your business! Ridiculous!

A-dive. The only reason this place get 3 stars instead of 4, because the french fries were cold and very greasy… This place is small, and a real dive, smoking area w/eating out back, non-smoking eating in bar area… The steak was excellent, they were out of ribeyes, so I had a T-bone. Wait staff friendly, not too pushy. Your basic selection of beers, Bud, Bud lite, you get the picture. On drive up, you will probably want to drive by… plenty of parking in the rear don’t be afraid… eat meat.

My fiancé and I went last night for steak night(Every Thursday) for the first time because we were meeting some friends, and it was ah-mazing! I had a huge Ribeye, baked potato, beans and salad bar. Definitely a laid back, dive bar atmosphere with great service and friendly staff. We will DEFINITELY be going back! If you want an inexpensive, juicy steak, this is the place to go.

Great bartenders, GREAT! It’s a dive, but it has what ya need: strong drinks, cheap good food, juke box, pool, darts, etc. Friday nights they have oysters on the half shell, a dozen shucked for $ 5, freshly flown in. That alone is amazing. Steak nights, free chili dog Sunday, and the rest of the menu. A lot of locals, but they have all been extremely friendly. Give it a shot, and enjoy yourself.

The second Saturday of each month is Prime Rib night. Everyone must come and do this. EVERYONE. They charge $ 14 for a massive slab of prime rib with a baked potato, vegetables, dinner roll and unlimited side salad. The only trick is that you have to get here before 4 to get a seat. We came at 5:00 in a party of 4 and were getting ready to leave because we were unable to find a seat(even at the bar), but the chef came out and asked a large table if we could squeeze in with them, which was really nice of him. Once the food servers take your order the food comes out really quickly. It does take some time for the servers to take everyone’s orders because the place is packed, but once they get to you expect food fast. The prime rib is really good… like not The Keg good, but much, much better than a $ 14 meal should be. They also serve super potent horseradish, which is always a must for prime rib. I ate the entire thing, no problem, which for me is about 4.5 days worth of food. I always like the specials that they run and we always have a good time here… I just need to remind myself to come 90 minutes early to get a seat on the more popular nights. In fact, the server told us we had actually come on a slow night if you can believe that. Drinks are taken on another tab, and you’ll need to pay for this bill in cash FYI.

Not only is NEVADAS one if the friendliest bars in town, they also serve some of the best steaks in town. Come in any Thursday or Saturday night and Darryl smith, the owner will be at the grill cooking up a delicious steak for you. He also makes time to get out and mingle with all his customers(new or old). The wait staff is awesome and friendly. Come on down and introduce yourself and become part if the NEVADAS family

i read the two reviews on this place before we went to nevada smith’s. my sister-in-law was having a going away get together with her coworkers at her old job before she moved on to her new job. supposedly, this is their«regular» hangout on a saturday night. kind of strange, in my opinion. all i could keep thinking about before we arrived there was the review saying the locals don’t take their beady little eyes off of you. that was quite true. you could definitely tell the regulars apart from the rest. there isn’t any air conditioning, and it did get pretty warm. they had karaōke this night. the regulars are really good!(probably because they’re in there practicing every week). it was a fun place and luckily didn’t get rowdy or anything. don’t know if i’d go back unless my sister-in-law was having some kind of shin-dig here again.

Quite the hole in the wall. The bartender was friendly. You can play pool or darts if you’re not too drunk. Perhaps you’d be better if you were? Fresh oysters on Friday! *shrugs*
