My husband and i like to explore on Saturdays out .So my turn to pick, had read some reviews wasn’t impress, but you have to give it your own sometimes. This place is hugh décor and Tv screen we just enough. We both like country so no problem with the music. Service was attentive, Believe my husband enjoyed the waitress in their short shorts and cowgirl boots(cute). Fo od took awhile, but was hot, fries were tasty some crumb coating which was different. Now the hamburger were ample size, but for me too much. Priced on the higher side but quality didn’t warrant the price. Would i go back? Not any time soon too pricey for lunch.

Toby Keith’s is a great concept and I’ve been to the one in Vegas and it was great but this was is lacking in many ways. The food is less then average. Nothing special I can think to even mention. Drinks are really expensive and the service is so so. Was irritated when I ordered a Bacardi and coke and after being asked if I wanted a well rum since it was on special and I declined since I am a Bacardi girl, then received my drink and it wasn’t Bacardi. When I told the waitress she simply said really and walked away. I had to ask her to replace it on her next time around. I’ve been a few times as I love country music and Toby Keith, but something about this location is wrong. Hope they figure it out.

Well, my boyfriend and I have literally just now, have been waiting 15 minutes to ask for ranch for our wings. Our waitress has not come by to ask us how we are since she dropped off the food and though we can, see her, she is too far away and away from her section to even get her attention. The other bartenders are busy with their sections and don’t notice us looking and trying to get their attention. Meanwhile, the couple next to us has been waiting to even get their first drink order taken and the guy next to us. Actually gets up and walks away! On the upside, the wings tasted good but would have been better if they weren’t cold by the time we got our ranch!

I’ve been to TK for dinner no less than a dozen times. It’s convenient to the mall and the environment is attractive as is the staff. I’ve seen a continual decline in the food as well as other things over the past year and I’ve decided that there are plenty of other places more deserving of my patronage. I really like the ambiance and the huge bar. For the times I go its never very busy and such a cavernous place doesn’t fare well with few patrons. The staff tends to mingle in groups, chatting about various things. Some other reviewers have made some pretty harsh comments about the staff and their apparel. Folks, this isn’t Applebee’s. If you can’t stand some short short jean shorts than maybe TK is not for you. I don’t mind it and neither does my family. I’ve tried a lot of things on the menu. The plank Salmon is so so as is the signature pulled Pork meal. I’ve tried the steak and it was also pretty boring. Corn on the cob is bland. I do like the honey chicken wrap and the fries, while freezer frozen, are tasty etc. I was there yesterday and had the burger. Asked for it to be medium, it came out VERy well done and had a little burned taste to it. The bun had grease all over it. I have had their burgers before and I think they switched meat vendors. Same with the chicken tenders for the kids meal. I’ve sampled it when my daughter gets it, but I also think they went to a more frozen variety and it is definitely lesser quality. The mashed potatoes with my overcooked burger were phenomenal. I ended up not finishing my burger and having more of those. Great service from our waitress, she was attentive and even made a point of engaging us. Last time we went a urinal in the mens room was broken, and it is still not fixed. A couple burned out bulbs now show that they just don’t attend to the details. What happened Toby? I want to like you more, but there are obvious things in the kitchen you need to fix.

Stopped in for a quick beer so this review is just based on service. I had a kiltlifter on draft. It was cold. The glass was cold. All was well. The bartender was so friendly and nice.

Probably won’t be going back. After hearing so much fuss around Tucson about this new bar, I was pretty excited to go for the first time with a group of my boyfriend’s family members for lunch. We grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting for everyone, and that was fine. The place is a bit empty looking in the daytime, maybe it looks better at night. Waitresses wore somewhat skippy«cowgirl» outfits, which was a little distracting. hehe. My issue, the waitress completely neglected us. And the restaurant was practically empty! I’ve been a waitress before, so I really get it. Sometimes it’s hard. — but it was really bad. She wasn’t even friendly when she got there. Half the table had empty drinks the majority of the time, and she didn’t come by to refill nearly as often as she should have with a party of 7. She got my order wrong even though I thought I had been pretty clear about ordering my wrap with«No bacon please. I don’t eat pork.» It had bacon. –_– I would have asked to return it for one without bacon, but she didn’t return to the table until everyone was almost done eating. By then I had resolved to picking around and planning what I’d eat at home. Just…not a friendly environment. From the hostess to the waitress, the staff was just unfriendly which is ultimately what prompted me to write this review. Food mistakes happen, but being a rude, cold, and absent is not ok. We were a pleasant, happy group, and the experience was a total kill joy. I’ll not be going back if I can help it. So disappointing.

I had dinner at Toby Keith’s last night, I went with my boyfriend on a date night. We got there around 7:30 or so and I think we were only the third table in there. For such a huge place it seemed a little weird, but I guess wednesday nights aren’t that popular? We were debating between this place, cheesecake factory and CPK, all within about 100 feet of eachother, and chose this one since neither of us had been here before. We were both saying how the one at Harrah’s in Vegas is always so packed that we never went, and we should go check out a menu. We walked in and asked for a menu, the hostesses gladly gave us one and seated us when we said we were ready. There was no wait since the place was empty. There were a few tables of all girls there, which surprised me until I learned that ladies night was starting soon. I guess if we would have got there about 15 minutes later we would have had to pay a cover charge? Not really sure how i feel about that. I ordered a dos equis amber, my boyfriend got a beer, forget which one. His was the big size and came in a mason jar, just like the«I love this bar» song. Made me laugh out loud. Mine came in a normal glass sans-lime. Not sure how they expect you to drink XX without a lime, but ok. For our food, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with the sweet tater tots. My boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger per the usual. He loved his, he kept saying that it was so good for a $ 10.00 burger. My pulled pork was ok, it could have been warmed up more. The tots… I wasnt a fan, and i usually love sweet potato fries. They had cinnamon and sugar, and it didn’t really compliment my already sweet bbq pulled pork. I did try some of his fries, they were really yummy! When we got the bill, I saw that his beer was $ 9 and mine was $ 5. Not sure that they were worth that, but oh well, a lesson learned for next time. The bright side was our server was very attentive and she was really sweet too. I usually get a douchey vibe(yes I believe girls can be douchey) from waitresses that have to dress slutty(hooters, etc) but she was cool. She kept asking if we needed anything and offered refills, ranch, etc. I gave her a great tip. Will I go back? Sure. I’m not into the fake-cowboy crowd that often comes to places like this as well as the maverick as it gets later at night, but I think I would come back again earlier or during the day. I did notice that they have a free meal offered to active military members, which is pretty awesome too.

Over priced, but typical of what the sheep in Tucson would love. Booths are made to seat about 12… kind of awkward for just a duo. $ 9 for a beer? Shazaam! That’s a deal. compared to the ballpark I guess. Had appetizer sampler and split a burger. Nothing unique, nothing to set it apart from the Applebee’s down the road(except for the ~$ 45 bill). Apparently there is live music here on occasion. Didn’t see where the stage was, could possibly be a decent venue given the open space.

My boyfriend and I were doing some shopping at the mall and when we were done we decided to pop in to Toby Keith’s to have a quick drink. It was a weekday evening and the place was pretty empty. The hostesses were very pleasant and asked us where we would like to sit. We decided to sit at the bar since we just planned on grabbing a quick drink and maybe an appetizer. That’s where the trouble started. The bartender came up and we asked him if they had a drink menu. He said, «Nope, this is a full bar. We have everything, we can’t make a menu with everything.» Um… ok, I actually have been to full bars where they have drink menus… but I digress. We asked if they had any drink specials. His answer, «Nope.» We decided to be a little more specific to try and draw some more info out of this gentleman. Us:“How much is a beer?” Him(with a look of bewilderment on his face): «Bottle? Draft?» Us: «Draft.» Him: «Large? Small?» By this time I was so put off by his very obvious disdain for having to answer basic questions about *gasp* what they offered and *gasp* how much it cost, I asked him if he could please get us some food menus. While he was getting the menus my boyfriend and I looked at each other and said this guy SUCKS, let’s get out of here. We left and told the hostesses what had happened. They were very apologetic but we won’t be going back.

If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Lets see, vulgar waitresses who like to cuss, bad service and a dried up loogie was crusted up 3 ft above the urinal. Amazing

I really really wanted to love this place. The girls that work here are very nice, it has good atmosphere and the menu looked so promising. However, I had chicken wings to start and the ½ rack rib plate as my meal. The sauces were far too sweet and the wing sauce as well which I was told would be spicy, was just too sweet for being«hot sauce». I ended up taking almost everything to go at the end and not finishing it, at all. There are just way better places around in this price range. I tried Toby, I tried. It just didn’t work out.

We just visited Toby Keith’s for the first time last night. I’m really not a fan of cover charges in Tucson. Especially when it’s a «bar.» The place is really big with plenty of seating and the drinks are pretty creative. I had the«Ring of Fire» and it was really good. The entertainment was great and it was the first night Metal Head performed. Metal Head was awesome and seemed to get the crowd going more than the country band, but they’re a Tucson staple so that was to be expected. The waitresses are kind of clueless and not really informative. The place was a lot of fun but it’s like it doesn’t know what it wants to be — a bar? A nightclub? A restaurant? A novelty? All of the above? I have to commend the staff at Toby Keith’s. They do not put up with drunks or shenanigans and they don’t hesitate to kick them out or refuse to let them in. Ditch the cover charge and you get an extra star, Toby!

This place is just meh… the establishment is a bit deceiving when you walk pass it in the mall it appears small but when you walk in the place cavernous! Went on a Saturday to meet some friends for dinner and was informed of a $ 5 cover charge at 7:30? Who does this?.. apparent Toby Keith’s. The menu is overpriced… the American Soldier burger. it was tasteless. They broadcasted UFC fighting throughout the entire bar, I don’t need to see bloody faced fighters while I am eating. Just really gross while eating. Service as not the great and the food & drinks are overpriced. The band started promptly at 9:00 and the sound was not really good. It’s not my cup of tea and I seriously doubt I will be back.

VIP room is tons of fun and keeps you out of the crowd and noise. We were there for a party and I guess the deal is that between everyone in the VIP room $ 900 must be spent… not hard to do if you have 15 – 20 people eating and drinking. We had vegi burgers, deep fried pickles and chocolate cake and everything was really good. Others at the party had nachos, sandwiches and other snacks and enjoyed them! Good place to go for a party!

I am pretty sure that this place is great for dancin’ n drinkin’… just not for eatin’ n talkin’. If you like loud country music and cute servers wearing boots and short jean shorts then this may be your scene. It you want good food or something other than run-of-the-mill domestic beer… keep lookin’. My wife said her drink(Cowgirl Cosmo) was pretty good. My 32 ounce domestic beer, served in a huge Mason jar was ice cold. There’s the drinkin’ part. My wife had the American Soldier, a plain cheeseburger, but with the fixin’s. The meat was unseasoned and the bun, which did seem to be fresh, mysteriously fell apart, She was not salutin’. I had the Shoulda Been a Cowboy Burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce and onion rings: The bacon shoulda been crisp, not flabby. I shoulda been able to taste the BBQ sauce. I shoulda been able to take a bite without pulling the entire onion out of the ring. I did eat it all. What can I say? I was starvin’. The fries were good, but some of them were hot and some were not… that’s head scratchin’, Our service was fine, but we were sat by the soda machine which appeared to be the cowgirl, er server, congregatin’ spot. It’s not really our scene. I doubt we will be returnin’.

Move over, you’re crowding me. Said no one ever at Toby Keith’s! Freakin’ cavernous I tell you. Met my girls for happy hour and was a little disappointed at their happy hour specials which are slim. Basically, it’s slightly discounted domestics like Bud, Bud Light and such. No appetizer specials whatsoever. I think the menu is overpriced but I pretty much expected it going in. J had the Turkey Melt — looked so good on sourdough and all cheesy. A had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I could smell it across the table and it smelled great. I went with the Bullrider Steak Sandwich but in keeping with my diet, had it with no bun, no cheese and no fried onion shoe strings. Boo. :(All three of our sandwiches were delivered to our table with fries. Not sure if there was a different option as we weren’t asked. The service was great and the young girls are dressed really cute in cutoff jean shorts, little black t-shirts and cowboy boots. While we were there, they were holding a free line dancing class. Our server told us it’s every Tuesday night from 6:30−9pm. Yeehaw. Great idea for a little girls night out!

Meh… Am I the only one who thought that this place was… well not worth the $ 5 cover charge and weird. Really $ 5 cover charge for a country bar, that’s shaped like a guitar and claims to have a two hour wait. It is huge, obnoxious, and the bartenders are definitely not hired based on their dreams or aspirations. I have never seen so much lady ass behind one bar… literally. Would I go again… most likely not. There are local, cooler places that don’t charge a cover… to have a cover charge to a corporate bar is stupid and in Tucson no less. The upside is there is tons of room to dance, lots of small tables to sit and enjoy a live band, and country hoedowns.

This place just opened and man it is large. I loved the country décor, large ‘dance floor’(aka a large void without tables), and the guitar shaped bar. I went on a Friday night and the place seemed to be poppin’. There were all sorts of people there — not just for your average cowboy. If you come, you better like country music. There was a live band that was great. They were playing the old country that I grew up on and the new stuff — so I really enjoyed it! As much as I enjoyed the atmosphere and love of country music, the drinks seemed expensive and the music almost too loud. It was hard to carry on a conversation and when I left I felt like I was yelling — scratch that — I didn’t feel like I was yelling, I was. I will definitely be back when I am in the mood for some country western dancing!

I went here after a friend of mine said this was the place to be. Of course, he is a country guy so this was totally his place to be. The place is humongous; I wonder how much Mr. Keith put down for this place. I heard there is live music sometimes perform on the stage near the back. When I was there for lunch on a Saturday, there were many families dining. I had a Crispy Chicken Wrap and it was big; only finished half of it. My friend had the Cowboy Burger and it looked very yummy. Over the big bar, there is a huge guitar light on the ceiling. The place has blue lights so it looks very«cool». Two entrances; one facing the parking lot and the other leads into the Tucson Mall. There are multiple tvs on the walls so you can be watching multiple sports all at once; like a sports bar.

Let me preface this review by saying that this place is not generally my cup of tea. Granted that, I am happy to report that the opening last night was fun. Here are the pros & cons Pros: — The place was pretty packed but there was enough space to move around and waiting for a table didn’t take too long — The service was prompt and the bar was long enough to get an edge in without to much difficulty — The live music was sufficiently good enough to get a country-musiaphobe like me to tap my feet and take a stab at remembering how to square dance. It was a good band and the crowd seemed to really enjoy it Cons: — Very limited bar selection — Very authentic atmosphere — right down to the center bar brawls. Overall, I would compare this place a grown-up, slightly higher class version of The Wreck
