Panda Express

This Panda is among the least accomodating in the chain. My wife doesn’t like nuts in her food but loves the honey walnut shrimp. Most locations will serve it without the walnuts but this location refuses. As a consequence, we avoid this Panda location and spend our money elsewhere.

Idk what the other reviews are talking about. This Panda Express was fine, you know how sometimes the orange chicken is either has some crunch and sometimes its better? Yeah this one has better Orange Chicken, tender. Noddles were good to, what good Panda Express noodles are. The wait is as long as however it takes you to order. So if you know what you want, then you shouldn’t wait no time at all. Under 7 mins. When I walked in, there was no line and there was maybe like 6 other people eating and some leaving and entering as we ate. But nothing crowded. For 5 staff members ld say this place ran just fine. If i had to rate my experience here at this panda in the form of watching a movie. From waiting 5 hours the day of a movie release, to ordering a disk from redbox from a sketchy part of the neighborhood. Id say this is a standard Saturday night movie out to the theater with friends. But it’s doesn’t have you want to see it over and over again the same weekend, but it does make it a easy conversation to have in the break room with Tom.

Food is consistently hot –portions are good –can’t go wrong for the money! Every Time we go to this location 6^th– the staff is friendly and quick! Definitely recommend!

They do not know the meaning of the word «express» here. Ask me to wait «only 8 minutes for your teriyaki chicken, do you still want it». Kinda hard to say no after you swiped my card had me sign for it. So I wait and about 15 minutes later they bring me my order and I’m missing an entrée. So I tell the kid tell the manager I’m coming in. I go in manager wants to see receipt. I guess he figured after waiting 15 min I wanna wait even more for a free entrée? I told him he can have my receipt but this isn’t the first time they screwed up but this is the first time I’m complaining. He says sorry gets me my chicken and I have to ask for teriyaki sauce for the other teriyaki chicken orders I had because they figured not only do I wanna wait damn near 25 minutes but I also like sauce less teriyaki chicken minus an order of chicken. Only reason I go here is because my kids like the orange chicken. If can get them to dig real Chinese food I would never come to another Panda SlowAssWaitspress again.

I came to this panda because this is one of the only things my special needs child will eat a young lady by the name of yanceli helped me, I asked if they had any noodles without vegetables because my son will not eat anything with a crunchy texture. She offered to try and take the vegetables out for him she then came to the window and told me that they were going to make a fresh batch of noodles for us because that way there would be less «crunchy“stuff in the noodles left over. She was amazing and I was very pleased and impressed.

Every time I come to this location. One time it took me a very long time to get through drive through. When I got to the window, they pulled me off to the wait area. I waited for over 15 more minutes before I finally decided to go inside. Turns out, they for got about me waiting, and I had to wait about 10 more minutes for them to cook the entrée that I wanted. They gave me a free drink for having to wait, and the drink I wanted was broken. I returned the cup and the have me some cream cheese ra goons.
My next visit, the line was backed up and again I had to wait a very long time.
This visit, there were only 2 people in front of me and it still took about 15 minutes to get my food. The staff was very nice, but extremely shorthanded. Management was sitting in the lobby watching us and didn’t bother to get up and help.
This is the worst panda I’ve ever been to, and the only reason I ever come is because of it’s convenient location.

Very disappointed at this location. Yeah place is clean, but apparently dishonest staff. The «manager» was the one taking orders and I asked for Grilled teriyaki chkn, she literally picked up all the bits and pieces left over in the pan and placed it in my to go box! There was a pan full of chicken next to the empty one. I asked why she didn’t use one of the whole piece and told me «oh I had them cut and we usually place them there.» I believed her. I got home and it was all left over chicken, black burned hard old chicken. I have never returned food in my life but this time was just unacceptable. People expect me to be honest and do my job correct the first time, I expect no more and no less from others. I just hate dishonesty. She gave me another order for the chicken but the damage was already done.

I love panda express and this one is close to my work. Their service and food is best when they open and it tanks from there. Every time I stop for dinner the line inside is very long, and the drive thru is backed up. I have waited 15 – 20 min just to order. They constantly run out of everything. The food is good but they definitely skimp on the serving. The staff always seem to be disorganized and struggling to keep up with the demand. I have walked out of this location due to the long wait. Good place, just avoid the meal time rush or you will be sorry.

This is the worst panda express I have ever been to. Out of the several times I’ve been here over the past two years, they’ve gotten something wrong with our order at least 80% of the time. This most recent time was the worst by far. I ordered a kids meal with fried rice and mushroom chicken, and they completely forgot the mushroom chicken. They also screwed up the drink that comes with the kids meal. Then I ordered a three item entrée where one of the entrées was teriyaki chicken, but instead of teriyaki chicken, they gave us orange chicken. Not to mention they are one of the slowest panda express drive thrus I’ve ever been through. If they weren’t the closest one to our house, I would never go here.
I updated my rating from one star to two stars because after we called, they offered to give us a free two item entrée if we bring in our receipt.

This location was very clean, and was far less crowded than the others. Service was quick, and friendly. Only downside was that the portion sizes are small compared to all of the other Panda Express restaurants I have been to. The rice and chow mein were carefully measured so that they just fit in the compartment, and only one scoop of each entrée was given. All other locations in Tucson and even the Phoenix area give very generous portion sizes.

clean not crowded awesome food and a drive thru!

My wife and I came in for lunch, and while standing in line for our food we observed an employee walk up to the orange chicken and scoop some onto a plate that she had already eaten from. She continues to mix the chicken with what was already on her plate with the serving spoon. Pretty gross given that I don’t know where her mouth had been! Otherwise panda express has always been good. Sergio is a really nice manager. Please try to keep the bums from begging for money while we are eating also.

I’ve never had Panda Express in my life but yesterday I decided to stop here at this Southgate location to see how it was. Pleasantly it IS a drive-​thru compared to the inconvienant walk in location in my zip code. Service was very thorough and friendly. Best part is that the food was pretty good too! If i’m ever cruising the south side of Tucson then i’ll definitely stop by here again.
