Based on the very poor reviews this location already has I’m not surprised by the service I received nor the very stingy portions they serve. The manager Angel gives out way smaller portion sizes than the other employees and when asked if he could give a little more he responds with a condescending irritated tone. I would suggest that people steer clear of Panda Express if you want a pleasant dining experience and to get a healthy portion for the money you spend. The food was OK at best and they often char the food with burnt pieces in the food.

The food is sublime here. The best, most authentic, asian restaurant in Tucson. Don’t let the name express fool you, the food is fast and prepared beforehand(about 8 hours ago), but uses fresh and qaulity ingredients. The food is kept stewing under heat lamps, which really brings out an old, left out, kinda taste to the food, because who wants fresh flavors?(no one). The food is nothing short of culinary genius and really reflects the authentic cooking and flavors of China. My favorite dish: The Orange Chicken. A delectable, supremely prepared dish that harkens to true Hunanese cooking. Each bite of sweet, gloopy, fried, chickenless, melancholy captivates my taste buds in beautiful symphony. Their Chow Mein, is also nothing short of spectacular. These oily, burnt noodles, really capture what true chinese cooking is all about. So I definitely give my recommendation for anyone to come here. It’s a great thing that Panda Express is a chain, because you have access to delicousness literally anywhere. I rate this restaurant 0.10÷10

Treated Horribly by Cashier! Super slow service… as always We had to wait for Beef & Broccoli to finish cooking. I had already paid for my meal when I asked the cashier if I could have the two bowls that were completed and sitting with my waiting entrée plate. The cashier told me were waiting on the beef & broccoli. I then began to say, «Can I just have the two bowls» when she interrupted me and said«It would be just 12 seconds». I then said, «Can I please have my kid’s two bowls?».(I had hungry 10 and 11 year old kids with me that got the bowls). The cashier, Jasai, then slammed down a tray on the counter and put the two bowls on it. No offer of napkins or forks. I took the bowls and handed them to my daughter. I then watched Jasai take my entrée plate and pull 1 tong-full of beef & broccoli from the fresh bowl. As Jasai was putting the food on my plate she made a comment to her co-worker and then ended her statement by loudly saying, «Jesus Christ!» and put my container of food on another tray. No offer of napkins, a fork, or a thank you. I had not complained or said anything about having to wait for the Beef & Broccoli. I actually had no problem waiting for fresh, hot food but I just wanted to give my kid’s their food so they can get started eating it. Jasai obviously doesn’t realize how tough it is for a parent to deal with hungry kids. She was also incredibly rude and insensitive by making her«JC!» comment. I would have asked for a manager but was exhausted from the day and did not want any confrontation.

Have stopped there 3 in last few months. Everytime they have been out at least 4 of the things I might want. Even though not late at night or weird hrs. Once they said too bad, which at least was honest. Other 2 they said they’d make it & would be ready in 5 – 6 minutes. So I came back, only to be told they were out of all 3 things I’d ordered afterall.

This is one of the cleaner Panda Express‘s in town. The food is ok. My daughter is a vegetarian and they said they don’t have any vegetarian options… bummer.

This Panda is near where I live and I come here for a quick meal sometimes. Nothing special about it, but the food is what you’d expect from a Panda Express and the facility seems clean enough. Employees are nice
