I used to come to this place pretty often but unfortunately the food quality went down. They do have a new menu which is very refreshing but the dishes are still dripping oil:(easy on the oil guys, every bowl I’m getting end up having a puddle of disgusting oil at the bottom. Less oil, less expenses for you and healthier food for us.

Brought the hubby here for his birthday. We have been here many times and have always enjoyed it. Maybe they were having a bad night. We ordered potstickers, they didn’t taste the same as previous times. The sauce was the same and very good, but the meat in the pot stickers left something to be desired. One of my pet peeves is when restaurants bring out one person’s food first, then leave to go «check» on the other person’s food. That is usually not a good sign. Finally when both meals were in front of us, we digged in. I ordered the honey seared shrimp and it was awful. I am not sure if they changed the recipe, but it was unedible. Even my husband tried it and thought so. I understand it was a busy night, and his special night, so I didn’t say anything. The final straw was right towards the end, while he was finishing his meal, someone dropped a large stack of their plastic plates. They quickly picked them up and the manager put them aside, I assume for washing. They were then grabbed by one of the«chefs» and she started to plate food. I looked at the birthday boy and he said, «we are out of here». A long standing joke between us, is whenever something off happens at a store or restaurant one of us will say to the other, «that’s it, we are never coming back here, are we?» Well, I think that may be the case for Pei Wei.

Every time we come here, we enjoy the food. My only complaint would be that the food is high in sodium — for days afterwards we are constantly thirsty. The food is always fresh, fast and tastes good for fast food. I like that the staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean.

While I’m in my 20-minute wait to get my dinner, I figured I’d write a quick review of this place. This is aimed more at Pei Wei in general and my just this location, but the quality of this place has really gone downhill. It’s sad… this used to be one of our favorite restaurants to go to, but sadly it’s about time to call it quits. We started noticing the trend when the table settings changed. No longer were there plates, chopsticks, condiments, and the really nice soft napkins at the tables. Instead, you had to get all of this stuff from the counter in back. And the nice napkins and plastic chopsticks were gone. Then, the place started seeming a bit run down. The bathrooms are more like a gas station’s, the floor is often filthy, and the new soda machines are rarely fully stocked. The food isn’t as good, but it’s not terrible. I can’t say the new menu is good or bad, I guess the options are decent. Perhaps that is the only thing that brings us back still. Going on 30 minutes waiting on our order now…

I was so disappointed by a recent experience. I am a frequent Pei-Wei goer, but usually, I go to the one closer to the University. I was on the north side of town, so I decided to go here instead. I ordered the DanDan noodles, and they arrived to the table in a horrible pile of grossness! There was no attention to the presentation(I know, I know — it’s Pei Wei, I can’t expect The Four Seasons), but it looked like it had just been chewed, spit out and slopped on the plate. Worse that that, it *tasted* like it had been scraped from the bottom of the barrel. When one of the hostesses walked by me and asked me how I was enjoying my meal, I explained my disappointment. She simply said, «That’s too bad», and walked away! I was not impressed with this location at all.

Fast and ok. Tried the new noodle bowls and was ok. Really soggy, at least the Korean bbq bowl was. I did try the chicken salad vegetable wrap and it was awful. No flavor, I wouldn’t recommend it. I bought two going off the picture and tasted like water and chicken. Guess I’ll stick to what I would usually get but I wouldn’t recommend any of the new items. Specially the chicken salad wraps.

Everytime I go to this Pei Wei its clean, quick, and delicious. I love the new menus that are streamlined as you walk in. The staff is friendly and helpful! I can’t wait to go back!

Plus side for pei wei is that u can expect most of them to be clean that’s a plus but the food is less than desirable… way too salty and uncooked veggies, like Mongolian beef is so salty u have to eat a lot of rice with a small bite or u can’t handle the strong taste and put it this way I like food salty…

This location does a great job. The manager came over and asked how things were. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and it was a little cold, and when the manager came over, he quickly brought out another for free. i would visit here again.

Last Friday, I was passing by on my way home and decided to stop at Pei Wei’s — it has been years since the last time I ate there. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles(because of a fellow Unilocal!review) and I decided to get the crab wontons and crispy potstickers since those are my favorites. Unfortunately, the potstickers and wontons did not live up to expectations. The pot stickers managed to be doughy in the middle and burned on the edges. The crab wontons were tasteless. Pei Wei’s does have real crab in these(a rarity) but it would be a lot better if they had some flavor. The best part of the meal was the Dan Dan noodles. These were wonderful! I’m so glad that I selected them. I ordered a small and it was almost too much for me. I will definitely have this again.

I have been to this location many times but I don’t know what happened if they change the recipe or change the staff but the dishes are not as tasty as they used to be. Couple of the dishes that I ordered came back very very oily and greasy and my friend had to sushi which was okay but obviously is not a Peiwei’s strong point. Focus more on the things that you do best the noodles and the other classic Asian dishes because the last couple of times were not that great …

So Good! I am a bit picky and custom order some of my entrees, this Pei Wei has always gotten my request down right perfect. However, during rush times, the food sometimes does seem a bit rushed and just thrown on to the plate. Nonetheless, everything I’ve eaten at this location tastes excellent.

Stopped in tonight for a Friday night dinner. Overall, the experience was a typical Pei Wei experience. We left satisfied. I had the chicken Lo Mein noodle bowl. My wife had the chicken lettuce wraps and a cup of won ton soup. My daughter had a regular bowl of won ton soup and steak Lo Mein. The won ton soup had tasty pork-filled won ton dumplings in it. The broth was good, though my daughter did not like the lemon grass flavor. They both enjoyed the basil, though my daughter, who usually likes basil, did not like eating them in this soup for whatever reason. My wife also thought that the spinach leaves didn’t add much to the soup. We enjoyed our entreés. They have changed their menu. They still have most of their stir fry plate items, but the noodle bowls are now down to three: Pad Thai, Lo Mein, and Dan Dan. I had one of their new sushi appetizer/small meal entries, the Wasabi Crunch. I’ll just say to everyone, skip their sushi rolls. Mine had ahi tuna in it, but I couldn’t taste it very much at all. The rice was dried out. They make theirs ahead of time, giving them time to dry out, I suppose because they do not keep them stored very well. The manager was very kind in bringing me out a new batch, but it was the same, some of the rice was dried out. Except for the sushi rolls, Pei Wei has some good tasty food.

The food was excellent. There were 3 in our party. We each got our food 30 minutes apart. That was not the best way to enjoy our meal. So the last food came out over an hour after we ordered. This made it a terrible time. The manager gave us coupons for 3 free sides… really?

We ordered a chicken teriyaki wok, a chicken chopped salad, wonton soup, and wasabi crunch roll. Wok and sushi good, but had a couple issues with the salad and soup. Salad was missing chicken, crispy wontons, napa cabbage, and Thai basil. It was just lettuce, tomatoes and carrots. The soup was missing basil and lemon grass. It was almost all broth, 4 wontons, a few pieces of scallions, and a few leaves of spinach. One of the girls at the take out, blonde hair no glasses, was rude. She said we had the additional spicy tuna roll, I replied we ordered the wasabi crunch roll. Her response, «they’re the same thing.» It being our first, and now last visit, how was I supposed to know that? The brunette with glasses was really nice and helped us place our orders very well. The wok was really good. For good food stick to the woks and sushi, just hope you’re server isn’t snarky.

Used to be a manager at pei Wei so I know how stressful and crazy it can get. This location needs to get their kitchen under control. New people in there? The girls up front would ask questions or yell something back and get no response. So rude. my meal was over 20 min late — stuff happens and they mess up, I get it. The gal up front brought my to go order out to me and said she comped it! She was the one who shined and had great customer service. Despite the kitchen ignoring them, I might be back because they have good people up front.

Lunchtime at high noon, and one person running the cash register for dine in and carry out. Very sloooow. Food was hot and tasty, although the lettuce for the chicken lettuce wraps was in small pieces. Hard to wrap anything in a one inch bit of lettuce.

I love pei Wei I usually only eat there with the my kid. but today he was in I called it an order to pick up to take him to school. it was messed up they offered to remake it but I was running late already. So as I’m running out the door I believe the manager hands me a little gift card to come back! Seriously so thoughtful

My favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and Kung Pao Chicken. I’m very disappointed with the menu change, they are trying to be more«healthy» but you used to be able to get 6 egg rolls for $ 7 and now it’s 4 egg rolls for slightly more expensive(I may have the numbers wrong) and they are always dripping in oil now, too.

This is the mini version of PF Changs. You can call in your order or order online. It usually only takes them 15 minutes to have your order ready. They always get my order correct and the food is great.
