Owned by a Tucson local and has now expanded to mutiple locations including one in Dubai. Best Gelato in Tucson. I love their unique flavors as well as beautiful presentation. They have another location in La Encantada. Both locations have out door seating.

I’ve been here many times, and the flavors are always something extraordinary. It’s my go-to for family visits, and whenever I’m in town I make a point of going back. I love the gianduia, blackberry Cabernet, and strawberries and champagne flavors. They also have amazing service, always friendly. Tonight’s visit, they came around and brought us all delicious hot chocolate and water! It was beyond what we expected. Definitely recommend!

Gelato? More like a joke. Not authentic at all. All real Italians laugh at this place. STAYFARAWAY!

Really pretty amazing stuff! Beautiful small shop in the Italian style with many choices. Beautifully displayed, decorated pans but not over the top. Colors and flavors fresh and sharp, clearly made by someone who knows what they’re doing. Very good customer service in this neat and clean establishment. Nice to see another successful U of A alumni business. Hope your dreams of going«big» pan out– you have lovely product!

Idk how I’ve never been here!!! If you’ve never had gelato it’s amazing!!! And if you are scared to try gelato it literally taste like ice cream so don’t worry It’s definitely really good. They give samples too! It’s a cute place to go on a date for sure!

Great gelato spot in Tucson! Perfect for those warm days/nights in the dessert heat. Plenty of parking, since it’s right in a strip mall. Friendly service. Sampled quite a few of their numerous selections, all of which were really good. The little cookie that it comes with is a nice touch. There’s also a fair amount of seating outside if you stick around to eat. Overall, great spot to grab some dessert, especially if you eat at one of the neighboring restaurants.

Wonderful. Great texture, great portion size, great flavor. Not too heavy — not too light. I had a medium serving which was definitely enough — maybe even a bit too much. Half dark chocolate, half peanut butter crunch. Yum! I’ll be going back. This location is super clean and friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating with misters. No complaints!

My wife and I came here for dessert on a busy Friday night. Frost has a really big selection of Gelato flavors — maybe 20 or so — and an assortment of sorbets. My wife settled on pistachio and amaretto. Both were really good, but I think the pistachio was a bit better. While the flavors of gelato were quite good, I have to agree with Brenner T.‘s review that says that Allegro is a better quality product than Frost. If you compare the gelato here to the same flavor at Allegro, it will lose. But Frost’s strength is the variety — many more flavors than Allegro. And the gelato here is still quite good — a solid 4 stars. But I wouldn’t take an Italian here looking for authentic stracciatella gelato. Frost also benefits from its location — next door to two very popular restaurants — Sauce Pizza and Wine, and Wildflower. It’s a great spot for some light dessert after a meal.

I come here all of the time! I love it. Peanut butter crunch is my favorite. :) My boyfriend is lactose intolerant and they have many options for him as well!!! A must visit, I recommend all of the time.

Delicious! They make an amazing salted caramel flavor as well as hazelnut. My favorite thing to get is a hazelnut affogato — hazelnut gelato with espresso. Mmmm. While their service isn’t always great, it’s fast paced and the wait isn’t very long.

This is a Gelato shop. The only expectation you should have is getting good Gelato. Service is dipping Gelato and providing samples on request. The owner should consider cutting cost by purchasing automation with a smile. The person that took my order clearly did find any value working at Frost.

Frost has very tasty treats, and they are low in fat. The problem is they replace the fat with sugar and currently Americans are consuming way too much of this substance. It’s better to eat full fat ice cream than an all sugar substitute.

Personally I think their Gelato is amazing, however i cant say ive been blessed enough to travel the world and taste Gelato so take my opinion with a grain of salt! What I do know: Atmosphere is a little cramped inside however its in such a nice spot to sit outside and enjoy(plus they have a mist system which lets be real, is a must have for eating outside in Tucson no matter the time of day!). Like i said the inside is a little crammed and cold looking since there isnt much decore and the walls are all white, but Casas Adobes plaza is very pretty and the outside area is great to people watch at! Price is pretty average for the areas shops and restaurants but nothing complacently unreasonable! If you get your Gelato blended into a milkshake or othe things it gets a little more expensive but I still find it worth it! Presentation is also an A+ because every flavor tub is decorated with things to reprent what flavor it is(IE pineapple slices on top of the pineapple gelato, champagne glasses in the strawberry champagne flavor). It makes the process of picking your flavor a little more fun! Plus you can try as many flavors as you want which is so fun. Basically the only reason i did not give it a full 5⁄5 is due to inside space and atmosphere

Frost is a cute place for a scrumptious treat! I am not a dairy eater and have not tried their ice creams, but ther sorbet is out of this world! My hubby always enjoys their caramel ice cream and I love to adventure around their fruit sorbets. From Strawberries and Champagne, Peach and even Blackberry Cabernet, they have an amazing array of flavors and I have never been anything less than amazed!

I really honestly don’t know how many stars to give Frost. I am not the biggest fan of gelato in the first place(I prefer ice cream or custard). I know, I know, but trust me, I wish I liked gelato better. It has fewer calories than my ice cream. But Frost is good. I think here in Tucson it has a slightly larger hype than it is worth, but they have a lot of positives. Their biggest positive is that they truly do have friendly staff and are especially patient with someone who can’t decide which flavor I would like/want to pick. ;-) There are also tons of choices and their décor is clean and trendy! Take a seat out in the front patio and enjoy Tucson with your gelato!

Nice people, great gelato. This is the first Frost that I’d ever visited. I was happy that they opened one closer to where I live near Phoenix, but this one is worth a visit when I’m in Tucson. There are so many flavors to choose from, and all of them are good. The place was not very busy and the staff were friendly and encouraged us to try flavors that we might like. I like to see what seasonal or limited time flavors they offer since I know the other ones are good :) This time, I had a combination of Lotus cookie and Chocolate — it was just what I wanted. The Lotus cookie was light and had just enough cookie flavor in it to be tasty without being cloying. The chocolate was a nice pairing, but I think it would have gone better with the darker chocolate(if you like that kind of thing — I do). Be sure to get a cup of water to enjoy with your gelato and thank the nice people behind the counter!

How could you not like gelato?!? You probably don’t like cute babies and puppies either… It really gets no better than this… at least 25 choices and they are ALL delicious. I’ve had the mint chocolate chip, vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate and one of my favorites, the mango sorbet. They were all delicious! There are about 5 – 6 tables out front where you can sit and enjoy your gelato. And for those who like to count calories(LOL…I’m not one of those folks), there are considerably fewer calories in gelato than ice cream, so you can indulge and remain guilt free!
