Stopped in here for lunch on Wednesday and we were pleased with the restaurant, service and food. It’s clean and had a decent variety of items at the salad/pasta bar. None of the items ran out while we were there; someone came and refilled items very quickly. Rachel, who seated and served us, was smiling and friendly and stayed on top of our drinks without hovering. Pleasant, typical Pizza Hut décor, everything was clean and in good condition. I love that they put a roll of paper towels on each table! So convenient. Despite it being the lunch hour it wasn’t packed and we had a nice lunch. Both of us picked the corkscrew pasta as our favorite of the food items available, it was unexpectedly delicious. This was a good value for the money: it cost less than $ 13 for the two of us including sodas. That’s what it would cost for us to eat at a fast food restaurant and it was nice to have a sit-down meal with considerably fresher food of better quality and variety than a fast food place.

I had the mistake of craving a stuffed crust pizza last week and carried that mistake further by going and buying one. The ONLY thing worse than that mistake was buying some wings to go along with it. At least I got it out of the way and don’t have to worry about remembering this Mess. The Pizza was horrible(even by Pizza Hut’s standards) and the Wings? Hunh? The place has a sign on the building that says«Wing Street» and I ordered an order of eight and I can’t believe they’re chicken wings, they’re more along the lines of Parakeet wings. They were so small and they topped it off with charging me 50 cents for ONE dipping sauce. Not the SECOND, the FIRST! And this is some sort of specialty for them? The ONLY reason I didn’t give this one star is I didn’t throw up that night. If you want Pizza, go to Papa Johns of you HAVE to have Corporate Pizza, or better yet, MUCH better, Chariot Pizza, it’s out of this world. If you want better wings, you can find them at BigLots or a Chevron Station vending machine. Don’t waste you money on this place, it’s God-Awful.

This Pizza Hut location received one of the cooks from the Sunrise location that will be sorely missed, having permanently closed. But the quality reappears here. One of the amusing things observed from my recent lunch visit was it appeared about 4 other employees were hovering around this cook that had transfered, almost as if they were trying to learn from him how to make such fine tasting pizza. I was especially impressed with the service here in the context of a buffet. The wait staff was very personable and helpful.
