I really enjoy this Safeway. It is located just inside of the boundaries of Rancho Vistoso in Oro Valley. It is a clean modern looking store and has friendly employees. The thing that sets this store apart from some of the others is they carry named brand items and I am not stuck with a generic product that I am wondering how it will taste once I get it home.
Inside they have a Starbucks retail location where you will find locals having their daily coffee and catching up in the mornings. This Starbucks has a nice seating area and is fairly quick. Across from the Starbucks at the deli counter they offer a sandwich bar where they offer fresh made to order sandwiches. The deli counter also offers other prepared food items along with the standard deli counter products.
A pharmacy is located to the rear of the store and a Safeway gas station is in the parking lot. The bakery has some pretty good baked goods and we do enjoy the sweets and breads from it. The produce and meat departments also offers a wide variety of things.
The shopping carts are located inside they are not full of trash and are pretty clean. The Safeway rewards card is super easy to use and all I have to do is put in my phone number. It is worth becoming a member even if you only shop here a little. The lines are never long and when more than a few people are waiting more checkers are called to the front. This store is a true pleasure to shop at.

This neighborhood grocery store is very convenient and close to my home in Oro valley. It has a Starbucks, gas station, deli and butcher. Prices are fair in comparison to others. If given the choice between supporting this local grocer and walmart down the street, I’m choosing this neighborhood Safeway every time.
Friendly staff, discounts for club card members and I always see them helping out the elderly people that go shopping there from the retirement home up the street. Any business that goes out of their way for the people that support them gets an above average rating in my book.

Safeways are usually the most consistent store I find anywhere. I live across the street from one in Portland and this one was nearly exactly the same — in a good way. Really, I’m only writing a review because I had been to a couple other stores and didn’t find what I was looking for. Safeway always has what I want, and this one was no different.

Always my favorite place to shop when they are available. The stores are clean offer good variety and the pricing is usually fantastic.
