So, this bar has a really nice owner. The issue is its going through an identity crisis. They have drag shows on certain nights and then bikers hanging out on other nights. The feeling I’m getting after the name change back to sagebrush the bar doesn’t really want to identify as a gay bar. So, what I can say about this bar. The drinks are pretty good most of the time depending on the the bartender. Although, what I don’t care for is they charge $ 1.00 every time they run a credit card. I understand there is cost involved with credit cards but its part of the coat of business build these prices into products don’t alienate customers. If this identity crisis wasn’t in place they would have a lot more gay customers.

I gave it 2 stars because this is no longer the New Moon Lounge and it is not a gay bar at all. I walked in on a Saturday night expecting what I saw in the pics and boy was i surprised! Cool people and very nice older crowd, $ 3 beers and they did have food, a pool table and a band that I did not stay for but definitely NOT A GAY BAR ANYMORE.

New Moon — I believe that it has recently underwent new management. It is a pretty friendly bar.
It is most frequented by older men/​women. It is not the best scene for younger individuals. I would have to say the bar staff is incredible! They are so friendly and accommodating! They are usually never busy after 8PM, but do host shows occasionally.
It is a nice place to go and kick back if that is your scene.

New Moon Tucson previously Pulse Tucson and Howl at the Moon opens its doors today. New Moon is a fun inviting local bar that welcomes everyone with a smile. Please check them out. Patt and Libby the owners are the greatest people you will ever meet. Stop by and say hi. Their first day is 05÷24÷11. Doors open at 4:00pm
