I love this place, we always have a lit of fun. However, They need to fix the smell issue. We went Friday night and it just smelled like puke!

Decided to try it out and I am not impressed service was sub par with our waitress Brittany ignoring us, beer was warm but at least the free tacos were good. They tried to play the music loud but the speakers sucked and i all I heard was static. Good place for a quick beer other than that you can have it.

Karaōke politics. The chic running the Karaōke is bitchy and if you come to sing, expect to sit through her crappy friends versions over and over again before anyone can sing. Makes it not so fun to hang out and have fun. We can find someplace else that puts you into a real rotation so everyone can participate.

Service here sucks. The bartender ignored our entire half of the bar for about 7 minutes as she chatted it up with regulars. Once we got drinks it took another 5 minutes for her to ring us up. Pretty annoying. The large beers are $ 7.50 too. Not impressed.

If you are from Michigan and craving a Ruben and fries like you would get at a coney island– go here!!! I don’t know about the night life, but we have brought our kids with us a few times for lunch and to catch a few minutes of whatever game was on. We had great service each time!

This is the sponsor bar for the WAKA Volcano Kickball League. They have daily specials and on Thursdays it is $ 5.99 for all burgers! Pleasantly surprised with the food considered it felt like a dive bar.

Just a below average dive bar and like another Unilocal user said it feels like a cheaper famous sams. It’s safe and clean and had has a lot of drink specials. Food is well below average typical bar food. I can’t recommend it but I also can’t say don’t go it’s really what your in the mood for. Plenty of what appeared to be regulars at the bar using foul language so keep your family away. But if your looking for a safe dive bar with low expectations you may be pleasantly surprised.

Food: all I can say is, if you eat here either wear an adult diaper or make sure you’re sitting next to the bathroom. Their food is so greasy you WILL sh*t your brains out.
Drinks: average taste, average price
Service: if you aren’t a regular, you won’t be helped as quickly.
Atmosphere: their atmosphere is their absolute saving grace. It’s a pretty decent sports bar feeling with tvs, pools tables, and arcade games. On Thursdays they do pub trivia which is ALWAYS fun.
Also, on a personal note: I HATE how they spell dog as, «dawg».

Its a dive bar located in a not so popular area. They have pool tables, TVs, indoor and outdoor seating. Their food is typical bar food and pretty decent. They have decent beer selection. Its pretty cheap and the place is pretty clean.

Decided to try this place out yesterday for lunch. Inside it feels l like a Famous Sam’s. Food is nothing to rave about but it is good. The bartender was very attentive and helped me figure out what I wanted to eat. I would recommend this place if your looking for a relaxing place to eat and relax to some good old classic country music!

Decent.
After living next to this location for over a year I decided to give it a try. Monday nights appear to be very dead. Salty Dawg’s appealed to me because it had a bit nicer vibe compared to Famous Sams. I used a food coupon from the entertainment books which was awesome because I saved 6 bucks off the total bill.
Food is just your typical pub food heart attack greasy.
Overall it’s a decent bar the food prices range from 4 – 8 dollars.

if there was a competition between Jeff’s and Salty Dawg, Jeff’s wins. Food is better at Jeff’s, but the beer is equally cold, and karaōke just as interesting. The Dawg is 100 times better for pool tables.
