I have a couple of Goodwill stores either near home or on my commute so that’s what I’m comparing this store to. I mostly buy women’s clothes. For one thing they have a really large selection but I looked at linens(sheets, curtains) and women’s dresses. They’re also well-organized with even the sheets marked twin, full etc. And the dresses are by size, not just S, M, L, XL. Prices are higher than Goodwill and there were very few items with the color tag for 50% off, which isn’t as hard at Goodwill. BTW they have a huge corner for costumes right now although I didn’t look at prices and a lot of them were actual commercial costumes. Great selection of fairy wings and tiaras. They did not have a good selection of swimsuits. The best thing is how many of any one kind of item they have, so if there’s something you’re specifically trying to find you have a better chance of getting it. They have the usual colored tag ½ off, but I think I saw that there was one day when everything was 50% — I didn’t really stop to read the sign, so don’t quote me on that. They explained the discount you get if you donate that can go up to 30% off, which Goodwill doesn’t do, and exchanges(7 days with the receipt and leave the tags on) which Goodwill doesn’t do. I often don’t have time to try something on or I want to see if it will match something I already have so this has been a bummer at Goodwill. I didn’t use the changing room or restrooms so can’t tell you. I didn’t see dedicated bike parking or a water fountain but that’s not to say they don’t have those. All in all, I will go back when I’m looking for something specific that I’m not finding in the other stores. — and maybe for some fairy wings.

This store has an interesting smell. It’s smaller than the Broadway location but the prices are much cheaper in housewares, which is where I spend a lot of time when thrifting. On Senior Day be prepared for a crowd of people out front, waiting to get in. They move merchandise pretty fast and I can usually find something.

Came in to buy some shoes with the 50% off presidents day sale, but the customer service I recieved today was horrible. By far the worst experience I’ve had in all my visits to this location. I knew the store was closing at 9 p.m. and I was told by one of the staff, but as soon as I start walking towards the front«Bam» I got attacked by two more staff members telling me the store is now closed, this irritates me just a little because I had already known this and I was clearley already on my way out. As soon as I reached a cashier I wasn’t even greeted, just a rude girl who scanned my items and said«You know that this item is not part of the sale do you still want it?» «No, there is no return policy or store credit» «is that all? Your total is $$$.» as she walks away I say«thank-you» then she asks another staff member if there was nobody left in the building and then locked the doors. The staff was very rude and apparentley very desperate to get out of work that they literally kicked their customers out of the store. I would never treat my customers the way they did, in fact I do the complete opposite; I would thank them for coming out to my workplace then I would ask them if they need help with anything else. I will never visit this location again until they get some new staff or new some new management.

So my husband and I remembered that we were supposed to go to a costume party this week. We already had what we wanted to do in mind, and I remember going to Savers as a young girl for cheap and easy costumes. We set up a list of things we needed to complete our costumes and headed over there. We ended up with a suit coat, shoes, cumberbund, shirt, blouse, and skirt for under $ 50. I was very pleased knowing that we got our costumes for less than we would have if we went to a costume shop and gave money to charity at the same time. The skirt, blouse, and shoes I got were super cute; I can easily wear them every day as well as for my costume. The next time we go out there, we’ll bring a nice big box full of the stuff we need to give away so that they can continue to sell used items for a worthy cause.

Well, it’s basically organized and has a large inventory. It does have that«thrift store smell.» I have found some decent items here the last three years on a grad student’s budget. Their 50% sale prices are the regular prices at Deseret Industries, however. I do have to psych myself to go in, however, as it is not the most pleasant atmosphere or clientele. I mean, it’s OK, but not great, you know?

This is not to far from my house and I kinda forget about it. I dropped by on the way home from work the other day and I was really shocked and please how clean and organized it was, the floors are clean, and the merchandise is where is supposed to be. It is kinda overwhelming how much stuff there is, 99% pretty generic but it is what it is, most American shop at Walmart and get rid of it and it ends up here(this is the way of the world). I did buy a pair of shorts and used my «Senior Discount». I have been rockin’ the senior discount since my early thirties, I went from blond to straight up white about 29. Dude a discount is a discount, I really don’t care what it’s for. I will be going here for shorts on Wednesday’s, because that is Senior Day«I be hangin’ with my peeps».

This is a darn tooting good Savers. I find something here almost every other time that I want. Often it’s clothes… lots and lots of clothes! Great for Halloween costumes, in addition to the fact they sell Halloween items. They have lots of goods and some good ones too, Stephen King and such. They have bundled up oddities along the wall where I’ve picked up weird knick nacks and some baseball cards. Good shoe selection, I bought work shoes brand new for $ 20, they just needed a dusting off. Look for color coded sticker sales for big discounts. I rarely wait long in line here even though it gets busy. I love the drive-by donation center.

Good thrift store. They have gone back to the 50% off one color tag. I have found many beautiful clothes here, wonderful glass wares, and tons of books!

This is the kid brother to the big warehouse store on Broadway, but still should not be missed. Same things apply from my last review but since this is where family get their SS checks and finacil aid for low income families this place can get rather packed and picked clean quickly. Still staff are very nice and there is always a great deal for those will to search for it.

Since they[Savers] can really only be compared with other Savers this one is Good. It seems like their selection is slightly less than the Broadway location, fewer mens suits, Sorta disappointing. A bit less clean. Go Early on Mondays, you will find out why.
