Not the greatest of all thrift stores however I found a few great vintage purses I also found treasure chest jewelry box but it had a missing latch it was $ 8 and I asked for a discount and they said no. The male sales person was rude. The female was nice.

Love thrift stores! They have some great finds here! Gave it four stars as I wish the housewares department were bigger. They get new stuff in all the time though & they have plenty of furniture & clothing to choose from. Give it a go & you may be pleasantly surprised.

This was actually a pretty clean thrift store. Didn’t notice that«thrift store smell.» It is well-lit, organized, and had good signage. There are some good deals on furniture. They had several cherry wood desks in really good condition for only $ 40! Their sofas and chairs were in good shape, too, and the upholstery was cleaned. Prices are comparable with other thrift stores. Deseret Industries still has ‘em all beat, I think. Floor is carpeted, so that makes for a more pleasant experience. They do need more racks, I think, because many of them are so crammed full of inventory.

Very well-organized with a lot of inventory in each section. Prices were decent, a bit lower than Goodwill or around that same price. They did have 3 color dot deals 75%, 50%, 25% depending on color. Air-conditioned and a nice bathroom.

I stopped in here today. I guess I shouldn’t say«stopped in» like I just happened to be driving by. I actually had free time today and decided to look this place up after realizing the one on 4th is now a Goodwill. Turns out, they still have a location(this one) and it was open, so I went. Anyways, I spent a good half an hour just walking around, but did snag a few good deals. They have better prices than Goodwill, the store’s about as clean as Savers, and there’s more of a selection than in thrift stores run by churches(nothing wrong with those, I just come from an entirely different side of town to browse and small selection is always a bummer). I did get the impression I was in the staff’s way a few times, but no one was rude or anything. The cashier I had just came back from a lunch break and spent the entire transaction talking to a fellow employee(it was just me in line and I’d waited a minute before anyone saw me there, but I wasn’t in a hurry, so no biggie). I was a little annoyed that she didn’t bother counting out the cash change to me since my hands were full(she didn’t offer a bag or anything). Really though, not a huge deal. I’ll definitely come back another time.

I have been shopping at the village for the last 20 years and I have seen the good the bad and the ugly. They have stepped up their game again and I am a frequent shopper and donater. The beacon does great work with the community providing jobs for those who have issues from handicaps to MMR and they do a great job. The store is clean and they are good about having sales, which is omni important. Go in and get some good stuff.

This place gets better and better. They even have old ATARI’s here! I love the men’s clothes(I hear the women’s clothes are equally as impressive, including lots of expensive coats and vintage items). I got several nice pants and shirts for work that had a color coded tag at tremendous deals. I go back and love it here. Friendly staff. I even found a Chiltons book for a gift to a friend, a book that is not easy to find and usually sells at double the price, and they gave me a buck off on top of that. Great place.

I love this new location, even though I’m fresh from the devastating heartbreak of someone stealing my perfect and tough little wheeled $ 7 vintage TV table that I had put next to my shopping cart during their 12÷02÷10 Game Day sale. I went to return a pair of shoes to its appropriate section and left all my stuff in a little huddle with my cart; when I returned two minutes later it was gone. It was blatantly mine. Thief, I wish you harm. No, I don’t. Enjoy that table. You obviously needed it more than I. I had found a hilarious early 1980s-era hardback book entitled«Here Come The Robots» in their bookshelves and was going to hack it up and create a découpage collage top for the aforementioned cart and give it as a gift. Never mind. Store employee Jesus is a… Jesus; he’s a pleasant and helpful soul with beautiful people skills. This Stone store is better than the old 4th Ave. historic locale. It is very clean and organized, and is one of the better stores of its type in town. Very fair/low prices and a great rotation of goods. There is so much reasonably-priced furniture and nice clothing, along with a modest housewares section. I purchased a strange and hilarious $ 1 bundle of six or seven various serrated knives held by packing tape for a friend who lost his only knife under his refrigerator. $ 1! And now he has a handsome mismatched set of several blades. VV still gots it. Thrifters, go there. Today. Different colored tags are 25%, 50% and 75% off every day, and don’t even get me started on that 99 cent section.

Price for thrift store: A Quality: B Staff: A For a thrift store value village is a hidden gem. Especially since they downsized and are now hidden from 4th avenue. The best gems I have found there lie in random household appliances(kitchen/living room stuff) and I have also gotten cool shades, costumes, and hats. One time I found a $ 300 suit jacket that was designer so keep your eyes pealed. I have been to some really dumpy thrift stores in Tucson and this is one of my favorites so I would definitely recommend it. If your looking for good thrift stores I would also recommend second hand thrift on broadway.

They are remodeling or something. The place is a mess and I couldn’t find the men’s clothing. I mean I found some but nothing was labeled correctly and I think everything was divided by color. How is that suppose to help me locate things that fit? Skip it until they fix the place.

It had been a long time since I had been thrifting. I forgot how much fun it is. This thrift store is like a gold mine. They have it all you just have to dig for the treasure. We went on a Sunday and they had this bargain wheel thing at check out. When you walk up you take a spin and you get whatever percentage off that the arrow on the wheel points to. I got 40% off this great antique chair that I am going to re-upholster. I for get all the specific days but they are always having some sort of promotion, like Thursdays are 50% off all furniture. I love thrift stores that actually have good deals and this is one of them. I stopped thrifting for a while because it seems like they have gotten just as expensive as new sale items and that just ruins all the fun!
