Subway

If we could give ½ stars my rating would be 3 & a ½.
Went here for lunch today. Order was done correctly & food was tasty as usual. My only complaints are the fact that it was so cold in the lobby I had to ask the worker to please adjust the a/​c, which she gladly did for me. Then, minutes later a lady walked in with her little Chihuahua dog. Now, I could be completely off base here, but this is an eating establishment. And in my opinion dogs should not be allowed in restaurants. I find that very unsanitary. Not to mention what if someone was allergic to dog hair etc. I just find it very unprofessional/​unsanitary.

I have been going to the subway (located in Tucson, AZ, on the northwest corner of Broadway and Pantano) nearly every work day, for over 8 years. I am a local dentist/​business owner and understand what it takes to run a business and deal with the public on a day to day basis. With that said, this is one of the «best run» restaurants I’ve EVER visited. The employees, in particular, are OUTSTANDING. My favorites are: Katie, Melanie, Stream, Adam, and Kailey. Katie, the manager, is professional, highly intelligent, personable and very organized. I can tell she runs a tight ship, and the other employees respect her for it. I hope the owner knows what they have in this employee, because she would be invaluable to any business. If she were in the dental field, I would hire her in heartbeat. Melanie, another long time employee, is also very intelligent, personable, sweet, VERY good at her job, and an all round hard worker. She’s just one of those people, always with a soft spoken smile, who just brightens my day every time. Stream, sharp as a knife, will fix any problem in a lightning flash. Every time there’s an issue with the register (or whatever), she is there to fix it before you can blink. She is also a very hard working employee and knows her job well. Adam makes a mean sandwich. He remembers what I order every time, right down to the details and does it efficiently and with quality. Super nice guy as well! Kailey (I think I have her name right??) is also VERY smart and good at her job, but I think she’s leaving soon so that’s a total bummer! Anyway, overall this Subway should be commended. This Subway gets me through every day with not only its AWESOME fresh subs, but with the efficiency and professionalism far and above what you see at most businesses. I wrote this review in gratitude because these people make my life better. Thank you to this Subway for everything you do and keep up the good work!

The people are always friendly here. Bring a jacket, they like to keep it cold in here.
Well, it’s a Subway. so the the rest is pretty much the same.
Clean place and friendly people is how I would say this Subway is different from the others I have been to.

The staff here varies from rude to superb. The superb overrides the rude ones. I left two bags of groceries there, and a worker named Valerie brought them to my house. Now, come on. Who would do that in this day and age for as stranger?

About what you would expect from a Subway. Stopped in to pick up lunch after a midday errand. It’s good for that, but probably would not dine in.
Bread is fresh and soft, meats and cheeses good quality but not likely at the level of Boar’s Head. Your sandwich is whipped together right in front of you while you direct them and choose from the variety of sauces and bevy of toppings they offer.
They are always running some sort of special. This month it was $ 5 for a footlong sandwich, and, yes, I ate the whole thing.

I found this subway to be clean and the staff was very friendly.
They are very busy at lunch time but they get you in and out efficiently.

Subway is subway. This one gets really busy around lunchtime during the week, but comes in handy after a late night out since its 24 hours. And for those thankful nights that I didn’t have to eat Taco Bell instead, 3 Stars ***.

I love subway and have been a huge fan for years. Although the food taste is fairly consistent from Tucson, AZ to Valdez, AK, the service is not. This location is very convenient for me but I’ll often avoid it because of the service. On my last visit, two of the three staff members were very sarcastic about their jobs and muttering things under their breath. There was a real sense of anger and frustration from one.

This establishment did not seem to busy, So I popped in to get a bite and the service was most Def sub par! Food seemed a bit off… normally I love sub way but this visit made me think twice; next time maybe I will just get a salad instead
