So, this place really needs to work on their customer service. I went in and I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour wait time. So, they wrote me down and I went shopping in nearby plazas. I came back in 40 minutes. Well, they had there list so messed up they said I still had at least 35 more minutes. So, I went to the pawn store in the same plaza and looked around. I came back in 30 minutes walked in and had a seat. Well, after 20 minutes of waiting I asked where I was. They said I still had 6 people in front of me.(they were taking people who came in after me) So, this time I walked over to burger king and got a pop and came back. Finally, I had to ask for a manager after 2 hours and 40 minutes. They ended up taking me next. They said sorry waiting list for messed up. It clearly was a mess. Everyone was coming up and adding names and they had three diffrent sheets. Then stylist were all calling off a different sheet. Anyhow, I finally was seated. I told the stylist I wanted a cut and wash.(I had my hair fixed earlier in the day. I ended up going to the gym and I put a hat on and the styling wax I used caused my hair to be a bit oily. So, that’s why I requested wash) Well, the stylist tells me I need my hair washed with tea tree shampoo. She said it would cost an extra 10.00 dollars. I almost fell out of my chair. The massive bottle of tea tree by Paul Mitchell is only 30 bucks for shampoo and conditioner.(i use it at home) They wanted to charge 10 for one wash. I told her no thank you I would just do normal wash. She kept saying she couldn’t do my hair without special wash because she needed to remove natraul oils. I tried to explain over and over it wasn’t natraul it was my hair wax. It would come out fine with a normal wash. Anyways, she kept leaving the station and going in the back and asking a manager. Finally, the manager walks out and says to give me a free wash. As if I was trying to get something free. Anyways, the entire cut she complained about working at this location because they didn’t give her breaks or a lunch and she has been working 7 and ½ hours. She said they make her clock out and wait for customers to show up and then clock back in on slow days. I felt bad for her but it was the last thing I wanted to hear after waiting over 3 hours to start my cut. Lastly, I ask her when she did my side burns if she minded just taking scruff off face with clippers(no close shave or trim, etc) I just wanted it cut down so when I shaved it wouldn’t pull my hair. She acted as if it was fine and then charged my 5 bucks. I would have understood the charge if she got out a razor and shaved my face like barber’s or styled it because it was long and needed to be cut. Although, this was just a few strokes of the clippers. Anyways, I’m done ranting on this experience. I gave 2 stars because hair cut turned out good. Although, service was horrible.
