Surley Wench Pub

Made the mistake of stopping in here for a drink with my husband last night. We each ordered a miller light — which came in a can (seriously?) — and was way overpriced ($ 7 for both).
After sitting for a bit trying to enjoy our overpriced can of beer– we were approached by a man asking if we were here for the show (eh what show?). We said no and then we’re abruptly told, «well that will be your last drink here for the night then»…uh, excuse me? How about having someone at the door to tell people there is going to be a special event before they come in instead of kicking them out after the fact.
We closed our tab and left… my husband and I ended up spending almost $ 100 at other places drinking… glad to know our money wasn’t wanted here.
Won’t be returning.

The surly wench is my favorite place to go and have yummy food and drinks! The staff is friendly and fun! We have had several events there and have found everyone to be very helpful and easy to work with. Not mention the Burlesque and awesome music you will find! Love the jukebox, the bar staff and the food!

Local little bar. Very friendly staff. Small menu with some great burgers. Wasn’t here long just enough for a burger and fries (forget name but the one with nacho cheese and jalapeño’s is very good and reasonably priced).
Overall a good local stop for a burger and a beer or drink

Great little pub, friendly bartenders, reasonable prices, good pool tables. I really love the décor. I hear they get some good local bands in and do a burlesque show too.
