I so wanted to give this neighborhood restaurant a thumbs up, but I can’t: the rice was sticky and over cooked, the moo go tasted just like the teriyaki, the egg rolls are incredibly small, tasteless and lacked filling. We typically order tons so we can save the leftovers for lunch the next day. This time…

I hate to put such a low rating on this place, but they could really step it up. There are much better chinese places in Tucson, sadly this is not one of them. I order from here because they are close to my work. Their food is sub par. I ordered egg drop soup and I LOVE egg drop soup in general, but for some reason theirs is almost gelatin like. Not like normal soup, not sure why it’s like that. Plus, it lacks flavor than I’m used to. Fried rice is alright, a little overcooked mostly. Also, I had a delivery and they didn’t put any eating utensils in the bag, no napkins, no soy sauce or anything. Although they gave me 3 fortune cookies… Anyways, they aren’t terrible, but if you have other options, I would take those. I’ll probably still order from here only because they are right down the street from me.

Great food at a reasonable price. Friendly service. What more persuading do you need.

By far the most revolting«Chinese» food I have ever eaten. I had to give the restaurant at least one star to post, otherwise I would have given zero. The lo mein was so salty I couldn’t take more than one bite; the chicken was dry and chewy. The fried rice was more like rice mush, with no discernible texture or flavor. Sadly, our search for Chinese takeout in NE Tucson continues…

I love this place. My entire work ordered from here for lunch and they deliver! Awesome size lunch portions and they have brown rice as an option that I love. Nothing but good all around! The only downside to this is the delivery time was VERYLONG.

Right by our place, very convenient and delicious. Make sure you check in for your free egg rolls

This food is so mediocre. I can honestly say this is the biggest waste of money. I’ve lived near this restaurant for 8 years and have known it by many names. When I moved here it was egg rolls and the owner lost it or whatever, then the chef that worked for him bought it-that’s when this restaurant was tasty! Now the other owner runs it again, worst then before! The food is just greasy fat, not even flavorful! I highly recommend going ANYWHERE else for Chinese food. If you have bland tastebuds, this food will still be disappointing.

This is by far my favorite Chinese food in Tucson. They have fast and friendly service, fair prices, and delicious food. My favorite order is the chicken lettuce wraps, and the crab puffs. My husband has tried many of their beefs dishes, and each was a hit! Good food paired with fast, free delivery.

Unfortunately not very good. Ill prepared staff. Bad food. Just not a good experience at all. Still looking for a decent Chinese food restaurant in Tucson.

These folks haven’t had lunch hours for months. Can’t take the time to update their website. Unfortunately they put about the same care and attention to their food. Dishes are inconsistent. Mongolian beef has came with ¾ full of crispy noodles ¼ beef, other times the crispy noodles are nonexistent. Wish someone would put a good Chinese restaurant in this area.

Food was great! Fresh and not over fried. Quick delivery, good prices for the amount of food you get too!

Chicken fried rice is bland but I love the sesame chicken and the crab puffs. They are delicious. Egg rolls are yummy too. I love the hot and spicy soup. Coupons are great. Check mailers!

Yum! Quick and friendly service. We ordered the egg drop soup, veggie eggrolls and sesame chicken. There was more than enough for two to share… good size portions. Everything was really good. This is now my «go to» Chinese restaurant.

Was skeptical of what I would find in the sabino canyon area regarding takeout/delivery options. I’m so happy hidden wok is down the street. The prices are reasonable, but most importantly the food and ingredients are always fresh and there are a lot of healthy options.

I like the Hidden Wok. Was shocked to see the low stars on here. I am a fan of the pineapple chicken, it tastes better than almost any other dish I have tried. If you are looking for a quick carry out option, give the Wok a try!

We’ve ordered from this place a couple different times. I usually try to order in time to get their lunch items because the price is very reasonable & we all know that any Chinese food place gives you way more food than you can eat in one sitting. I’ve tried probably a handful of different dishes on their menu and enjoyed all of them.(Sorry, can’t remember exactly which dishes except for the veggie Lo Mein, which I love). Their food is not overly salty which is a nice change from some Chinese food. All in all, the staff is friendly, delivery is prompt, prices are reasonable & most importantly, the food is good. Two thumbs up!

I had read the reviews on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. It would have been nice it they had a website to look at a menu but my wife(not big on Asian food — she was humoring me) knew what she wanted — Broccoli Beef. I also ordered beef fried rice to share and Kung Pao Chicken for me. The Broccoli Beef was disappointing — it was very bland and the broccoli was mushy. The beef was, however, tender and high quality. The same could be said about the beef fried rice. The beef was good, but the whole thing was just missing something. The Kung Pao Chicken was what saved the whole thing. All white meat chicken in a spicy sauce with well cooked veggies and peanuts– just how Kung Pao is supposed to taste, IMO. They offer steamed rice, brown rice or chow mein to accompany your dish. The chow mein is a nice alternative to the rice for a noodle lover like me. Their menu is small but it’s actually nice to have a quality delivery option other than pizza. They were fast and not too expensive. I could rate them as high as four stars, but I have to knock them down for inconsistency in flavor.

It was movie night for my hubby and I, so we decided to get some Chinese food from The Hidden Wok delivered. We ordered the mongolian beef w/brown rice, kung pao chicken w/chow mein, and hot & sour soup. The hubby was pretty upset because they didn’t have/ran out of white rice. We received our food and again it was all piping hot. The mongolian beef and kung pao chicken were really good. What we didn’t love at all was the hot & sour soup. First of all, it was very hot but that I can live with, I like spicy food. But it had a weird flavor, and then we realized that it tasted like beef jerky. Yes, the hot & sour soup had a beef jerky flavor. We didn’t finish it. That’s why I gave them four stars again. Everything else that we ordered was really good, but we won’t order that soup again!

Super friendly and new in Sabino Canyon!’ Dinner was just about average as I think they’re cutting their teeth. We’ll give them another try in a while and see how they’re doing…

I’d seen this place recently on my way home and decided to try it. I’ve gone to Golden Dragon at Swan and Sunrise, and thought their food was eeh and too salty. This same location used to be a different Chinese place prior, and I had not been that impressed, but since it changed I decided why not give it a try! I’m glad I did. My mom and I shared the Broccoli beef and were able to choose between steamed rice, brown rice or Singapore chow mein, we decided on the brown rice, which was good(a little sticky). Also decided to give their crabpuffs a chance. They were delish! The orange sauce that came with them was nice, fresh, and zesty. They also were fast in the making, when we called they said to come pick it up in 5 minutes! Wow! I was scared of the quality, but it was yummy, with lots of veggies and just enough sauce. FYI: This is definitely a pick up your take out or call for delivery place. They don’t have anywhere for people to sit down and eat. Also their menu isn’t online yet. The menu also has less options than most Chinese food restaurants-not a negative to me. :)
