The Quesadillas

Awesome place had the jaas taco best carne Asada around. Tortillas were nice and thin. Taste like my Tia used to make. My new taco place for sure.

Been hearing good things about this new place so decided to try it out a couple of days ago. The location is in a strip mall across from TMC. The owners have put some effort into decorating it to make it a bit more inviting. Service was pleasant and helpful. It’s a small family business. The menu is limited and everything is $ 5 or under. I had the carne asada quesadilla which didn’t look very interesting, but tasted pretty awesome. That mesquite grilling really makes a difference. Nice salsa bar and a good selection of freshly made condiments. I like the fact that it was a light meal without excessive amounts of food. I kind of wish there were a few more menu options with vegetables in them (note that they do have several vegetarian, but not vegan, quesadillas), but not if it threatens the quality of the good food they’re making right now. Will definitely be back.

I have never written a review before but Quesadillas is a special place. My wife and I ate at Quesadillas yesterday. She had the tacos al pastor and I had the tacos Jaas special. They were delicious, better than any weave have had for way more money. Plus the people were incredibly friendly and This little restaurant was spotless. Try it out, you can’t miss!

Quick lunch order to go today. In the order was chicken, Carne asada, and chill quesadillas. The chicken and chili received rave reviews and were gone before I got a chance to taste. I had the carne asada, Really tender, nice balance of flavors. By far the best I have tasted in Arizona or Southern California. Two sauces and Pico to choose from. Verde was my favorite. Tortillas nice and fresh. I will be back.

On my vacation to Tuscan, AZ I found that many of my favorite places had been replaced by chain restaurants. I was happy to find this family run restaurant that took absolute pride in the food they served. Everything was totally delicious, all meats are smoked and grilled on premise. It’s flavorful, inviting, and affordable.
