I have to admit that my hair has always been a huge challenge, not just for me, but for the many stylists I have visited. Then I met Jim! What a breath of fresh hair. He took up the challenge and is now the only stylist that will have the honor of cutting my super curly hair! Additionally, he did a fantastic job with the coloring and styling. Most importantly, he taught me how to love my hair again, curls and all!
Yes, it’s true, all the stylists are super friendly and the atmosphere is always relaxing and entertaining (in a good way). What a treat to find a stylist who is not intimidated by all my curls & frizz, but relishes the challenge of bringing out the best in my hair. Thanks Jim for being a «super star» in the hair business!

Jim is my favorite hair stylist! He has been able to tame my cow-​licks that by a month in, I am still able to style my hair without getting frustrated at it. Will definitely continue to go back to him whenever I am in town.

I wrote a great review two years ago when I first went into Trehcol Salon.
I have returned every 4 weeks since and even recently changed it to 3 weeks as my beard seems to grow faster now.
The thing is, I love going there. Not only is Jim the best I’ve ever known. He continues his training and stays on top of the latest products.
I still only go in to get my beard trimmed and colored. Being bald there isn’t much else to go in for. :).
But, all the stylists there are so great. I have seen many regular customers over the last two years. Not only do they always look great when they leave, they sound like family. Talking about what goes on in their lives like jobs and family. In short, the stylists show a real interest in you as a person not just a client.
I know I’ve never been disappointed and I don’t think any one else would be either.
They all greet me by name and with a honest smile.
They are happy to take on new clients and I know that if you go in, you will go again and after all the compliments, your friends will too.
In short, I can’t give them all enough great reviews and wish I could give them many more stars.
Oh, the prices are are very reasonable, very!

I started going to Artie at Trehcol when I moved to Tucson. It was a shot in the dark, as I randomly picked him from the Internet. He did a fabulous job on my hair, and I have been going to him religiously every 6 weeks ever since. Artie is great with color. He looks at you and knows what will work with your skin tone and your coloring. He is also entertaining with great stories that are often very funny. He does a great job with cuts too.
The salon is a bit basic but the people are great. I see a lot of regulars who are very happy with the services of their respective stylists. If you are looking for fussy décor this is not your place. But if you are looking for great hair and conversation, this is your place.
