University Arms

I lived in a one bedroom apartment in University Arms during the entire duration of my college career at the University of Arizona and it was absolutely fantastic!
#1 BEST fact about University Arms: The Landlords. They are onsite practically every day handling upkeep, chatting with tenants, solving problems, and overall being the sweetest couple you will ever meet. They are there to make sure you are happy, safe, and that your apartment is in top notch condition.
The apartments themselves are older, but are often refurnished and are very well kept. The distance to campus is hard to beat, and distance to grocery shopping even better! If you don’t have a car, you won’t have a problem. ***Includes free wifi, a pool, onsite laundry, and good parking.
The only negative to University Arms is the swamp coolers. The summers are HARSH, but that’s Tucson’s fault. We bought an air conditioning unit and often quarantined ourselves to the bedroom for the worst of it and managed to survive just fine.
Absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone considering going to the UA. It is a quieter part of town, despite it’s proximity to campus, which is extremely refreshing if you want to be able to get some sleep at night. (If you’re interested in partying, you’re also close to some great bars and clubs downtown! So don’t worry about not having that thirst quenched.)
