University Place Apartments

I have lived here for over a year now and I have to say that location is the only good thing about this place. Over the winter my heater broke and they didn’t get it fixed for over two weeks. I was not offered another place to stay or space heaters. I was even told that I would have to pay for a new heater, which I never did because that is total BS. Then recently there was mould found in my bathroom and the walls all had to be removed. I was offered another apartment to stay in and when I got there, the maintenance man was already in there, sitting on the bed with his computer (creepy!). So I refused to stay in there. Then asbestos was found while they were cleaning out the mould. No one told me. I just come home to a sign on my door saying there is a chemical danger in my apartment and to not go in it. The owners are nothing but slum lords. They do the bare minimal to keep this place going and act like your burdening them when you tell them that screen on the vent to your A/​C needs to be changed. I pay $ 520 a month, they should not be hanging up on me just because I ask them to re-​key my apartment after they loose my key during the construction in my bathroom. Live elsewhere. Don’t ever come here.
