Amazing, affordable, delicious Breakfast burritos!!! Huge breakfast burritos for only $ 3 and change, can’t beat that price. Nico’s can’t compete with their prices. Inside the restaurant is clean and small however there is no restroom so, that’s kind of a bummer. My favorite place to hit up in the morning before work.

Nachos were mediocre, would have been better if the salsa was fresh. You are better off going to Filibertos, a much better local chain with much fresher food and a larger variety of options. I will not be going back, how hard is it to make a plate of nachos?

I stopped in for a quick bite on a Saturday and really wish I would have just went home instead. My first clue should have been the crappy exterior and zero customers present. I ordered three Carne Asada Tacos and a drink and my total came to 6.01 to which I gave the cashier exact change. This simply confused her to no end because she entered in my exact change and the register showed zero change due… add he almost melted down… now back to the Tacos… I am not certain how you can mess up street tacos but these were the worst ever. As I got my order and sat down no less than ten flies joined me it was gross… I chocked down one of my Tacos and left… Don’t waste your money here. It sucks that bad.

The service at Viva Burrito on St. Mary’s is awful, I waited 10 min in drive thru, the guy took my order kept saying is that all, didn’t let me finish placing the order, then he swiped my card three !!! Times and said it didn’t go thru…(I had plenty of funds available on my card) so I called my bank they said no transactions were made, so I asked the guy to run it again, he and another kid stayed staring at me lime deer looking onto headlights!!! I told the guy there might be a problem on his side, then he got snippy and said what do you WANTMETODO? Then said give me back my food… I was surprised of his rudeness and lack of customer service skills. He grabbed the food so rudely… and flung my card back at me!!! I will never go back to this place, stupid little ki ds like this is what gives us Hispanics a bad rep!!!

Maybe I am just sensitive. I mispronounced chile relleño and the cook and(who I assumed was the manager) started laughing and speaking Spanish. In any instance, this is rude, whether or not it was even about me or my inability to pronounce a menu item. The food quality was subpar. It is sad to see this place call its food Mexican food. Food is clearly frozen for longer than a week. When reheated(in a microwave), the cheese inside my chile relleño was solid(in a frozen state) and not even warm. Ordering chips and guacamole was also a pretty huge mistake. They just throw chips into a styrofoam container and plop(literally) a scoop of guacamole on top of the chips in the center and sprinkle cold shredded cheddar cheese. Guacamole was completely bland. Zero seasoning. One of my containers had a live ant. Surprise health inspection recommended. They also do not publically post their health inspection logs with their results.(It should be a piece of paper in the landscape orientation with either gold, silver, or bronze stickers displaying the rating of that inspection.) No food-born illness(food poisoning) resulted from eating this food during my visit, however, I would definitely urge a health inspector to take a peek at the food safety protocols of this food place. You might say I got what I paid for(as it wasn’t the most expensive), but when I see latino folks own a food place that pumps out latino food, I think the spirit of Mexican food dies with them. I have yet to be amazed by any Mexican food place in Tucson. In the end, my advice: if you want decent Mexican food, search for a recipe and just cook it yourself.

I’ve only been here for breakfast so I can’t say much about their lunch menu but their breakfast burritos are very good only thing I don’t like it sometimes they don’t understand you and you might get the wrong order but they are very quick to replace it with the correct order How can you go wrong with bacon eggs cheese and potatoes and their salsa is very delicious

Too bad I can’t do ‘NO stars! No stars… service was clueless, burrito was awful. I ordered 2 Arizona Burritos with Pico de Gallo. At lunchtime, after a 10-mile hike, opened the bag, looked at the 1st burrito — NO pico! Doggone it! The meat was so full of gristle I couldn’t eat it, so I gave it to my dog who loves burritos. He ate the tortilla, Rosarita beans, cilantro and he pha-tooyed the meat. Right on to the ground. Why didn’t I look at Unilocal first!!, Well, at least YOUARE!

Disgusting. I went through the drive through waited and waited and waited about 15 minutes when there was only one person in front of me in the line and received an insanely salty, bland, crunchy, hard and repulsive carne Asada burrito that even the green chile couldn’t mask. I don’t understand how this place is even open. I threw away my burrito after the first bite afraid for my health. This place needs to seriously consider their food. GROSS.

After 15 minutes and 2 attempts. I pulled up through the drive through… No one to be found. Waited and waited, still no one. I thought maybe they were taking a ‘smoke break’, they were. Pulled back around and they scrambled back in. After 5 minutes of waiting for some one to even appear in the entire restaurant, they were finally there. Took another ten minutes to get our chimi style burritos and we ended up with enchilada style. To top it off, there was a blackjack pizza delivery driver in there that requested my number via employee working the drive thru window. The worst service ever. Hire more qualified people.

Pretty tasty Mexican food for cheap, with a menu full of choices. A step up from other Mexican chain restaurants. Been there a few times now that I’m in the neighborhood a lot, nothing negative to say besides that sometimes there’s a wait, even for simple orders. Great for takeout.

Viva is nothing special. The food differs on a day-to-day basis even when you order the same thing. I always get the veggie burrito It’s always good, but I’m never amazed. There are better Mexican food places right nearby, but this is the only one open 24⁄7 to satisfy the late night burrito cravings.

price went up, and quality went down, wayyyyyyy down. seems they are using left over scraps to fill burritos, avoid this place and save your $, precio subió, y la calidad bajó, wayyyyyyy abajo. parece que están usando a la izquierda en trozos para rellenar burritos, evitar este lugar y guardar su $

Um no. With a plethora of similar restaurants all around this street alone why anyone would go here baffles me. Price? Expensive. Service? Alright, how much service could there be behind a counter. Food? Small and just plain boring. I ordered a burrito here and its about the same size as the ones you get from those little packets in the frozen food section. The ingredients weren’t that good either and the tortillas were pretty boring. I hate giving restaurants 1 stars and usually try to do an updated review but I highly doubt that I will do one for here. There are just way better alternatives within a half mile radius of here.

A negligible step above taco bell. Sauce in a packet. Tasteless. It’s open on Christmas. This must have been some sort of revenge for not visiting family.

Dear lord! THIS is what carnitas are, huh? See, I guess I’m used to the inauthentic foods, but I totally thought carnitas were tender, delicious pieces of marinaded pork. It’s been redefined for me, though. I bite into this modest-sized burro, and find that my meat’s actually sort of tough, and – dare I say – slightly crispy? Like a bacon burrito? My friend looks at me and asks me how the burrito is(I think he was surprised that I strayed from the traditional pollo or carne asada). I tell him that it’s good… but…kind of bacony. Well that’s what carnitas are, he tells me. Seriously? I reply incredulously. Yeah. Do you know what part of the pig that comes from, by the way? He smirks knowingly, the look he gives me when he’s about to say something that will elicit a reaction. Don’t tell me. Wait, do tell me. The leg. Ohh. Well, that’s not too bad, right? Right. Neither was this burrito. Actually, to be quite honest, it was a pretty awesome and badass burro. None of that rice and cheese bullshit. This was a hot tortilla stuffed with flavorful meat with some pico and guac. And the hot sauce? Well, I was skeptical at first, because I firmly believe that hot sauce should not be at all gelatenous, but once it was mixed up and liquefied, it tasted good, although it wasn’t super spicy. This place is definitely no-frills, and the service might be slightly questionable, but let’s face it: The food was pretty good!
