Five stars for their happy hour(all plates are $ 3 or less) and their eel & avocado roll is addicting! I’ve only been for happy hour but I have always found that the food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly. In my opinion, this is a great place for sushi newbies. Lots of choices and they have more then just sushi.

Sometimes in life you get a real hankering for some sushi. When this happens I find myself at Blue C. Great prices and good sushi. Sometimes you luck out and Lisa will be at the bar, slinging drinks and getting creative with rolls. The sushi chefs are friendly and care about their craft. It’s always a good experience.

Prompt, friendly service and good sushi. Sure this isn’t Shiro’s downtown, but you know what you’re getting here. This place offers good value with a nice, clean atmosphere. When I have a craving for sushi and need a lot to fill me up and don’t want to break the bank, I go to Blue C. Sushi.

I can not name one experience that has left me with anything less than super pleased. Something about getting to pick food from a conveyor belt that just does it for me. So many options to choose from and if something is out I just ask my waiter to request that it’s made for me — that’s it no hassle. Can we take a moment and talk about the happy hour every day? Half price plates and wines are like $ 3. My absolute favorite item is the blt tuna roll. I seriously have dreams about the next time we will meet again.

I’m not a sushi connoisseur, but I like it a lot. The sushi is a good, normal, tasty sushi. This is my typical go-to sushi place as is it fast and inexpensive. I prefer belt sushi because I like trying a variety of food and I think this place does the belt well. It is a chain and the service isn’t the best but that doesn’t ever stop me!

This was our first time here… it was a little after 1pm. we stood at the door for a good 3 – 4 min b4 even being greeted. We got seated… there was barely none to no food on the belt. We waited a while longer and finally got greeted by our waiter. The food was meh. we had to vocally order with the chefs in the little sq making the sushi. I was taken with why they had so many sushi dishes pre made on their counters and NOTONTHEBELT?! for the price of this place I was expecting more. we didn’t eat much because it would take to long to get and the there were NO choices on the belt to temp us to eat more… over all experience NEGATIVE! we will see not be coming back!

This place is awful, the serve is next to none existence. There is literally no food on the conveyor belt during dinner time. For the price of their food I expect more. It also took 30mins to get out food when theirs only few other table. I should have known better when I walked in and noticed only a couple of tables. Will not be back!

Not impressed at all anymore with the chain in general. We normally went to the Fremont location every once in a while when friends are in town, so we thought of giving this place a try. We were at the mall and I was not in the mood for food court stuff. We encountered the same sad fact as in the Fremont location. Extremely overpriced, mediocre Sushi and service is only ok. We already were disappointed from our last experience in Fremont, but we thought the pricing issue is due to location and also the fact that Fremont get’s more tourists and they feel that ripping of people there is easier. Not so much, they all seem to charge the same high $$$ for not enough and sub-par food. I’m sad to say, but the whole chain is scratched off my favorite list.

Sat at the bar and was served by Lisa, she was AMAZING! Gave us the best recommendations for food, dessert and drinks! Left toasty, full and satisfied! Perfect dining experience. In town from NY and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone in town!

This is definitely one of our go to date nights. We love chatting with Lisa and letting her give us suggestions on what new rolls to try. Every time we come here it’s super fun! What I am trying to say is not only is the food yummy but Lisa is the best bartender ever and always makes sure we are happy. Come meet her and tip her well or else!

My wife and I love this sushi location– especially with the new happy hour specials! Happy hour: –discount beers, wine, and specialty drinks –all sushi is $ 3 and under We often come to this location before catching a movie, but equally love ALL Blue C locations. If you’re looking for something new, try the spicy edamame.

Snail pace service and not much on the belt, causing you to order nigiri, and therefore elongating wait times… I like the idea of belt sushi because it’s typically a faster pace– not so much at this location though. Nigiri and rolls were good though, so I would be willing to try again, perhaps at the Fremont location.

First time there we went at night, they were short staffed but our server was nice she deserved more stars than the food though. Anyways the sushi was kinda stale as well as the gyozas were cold. There wasn’t much option on the belt as the same rainbow sushi kept coming by along with a lot of empty sushi names on the belt. The only way to get what you want is to order it. Anyways it’s more expensive than other belt sushi, maybe because of the location? I doubt I’d be coming back but who knows maybe the wife would want to try it again someday. The price range starts at $ 2 – 5.50 depending on what color dish you get.

Sushi bar with NO sushi. Hey management, would be nice to tell your Payton’s this before they sit down. If we wanted chicken teriyaki, we would have went to a teriyaki restaurant.

This is my first time here and I must say that I am impressed on how this place looks. Very clean, extremely well thoughtout place, chic, seems like a higher end for eating sushi. Very impressed. The staff are on top of things and the conveyor belt seems good. The food on the other hand is not good, or probably not good enough on how expensive it is. It’s like I paid for the place rather than the food which is quite sad. The food is below average, even the drinks were not good. It’s could’ve been good if only the items were fresh. It didn’t look that way and obviously it didn’t taste that way. What a shame. I’d probably comeback to this establishment someday to try it out again… Maybe.

Stopped in for lunch today and almost nothing was on the belt — not even California Rolls. No big deal so we just ordered everything we wanted, the waitress was really kind and put our order in right away. Sadly our veggie tempura had a big hair in one of the pieces and the avocados in the avocado rolls didn’t seem very fresh. It wasn’t the best experience I have had at this chain. Additionally it took forever for the food to come out. I used to really like the kinshi rolls here but they changed the recipe to tuna chunks instead of tuna salad. Nowhere near as good as before.

I always wanted to go here and finally I did, but the sushi went around and around… were not fresh at all. They tasted dried and old. My recommendation their price of items should be discounted toward the end of the closing hour. We tried to order one fresh item but they didn’t have it, or they just wanted us to eat what they had already made. Recommend others to order fresh items if you go there. The employees were friendly and polite.

I usually stay away from belt sushi. But I was pleasantly surprised how fresh everything was. You see them adding new items and taking away old off the belt frequently! And you have the option of having them make stuff fresh! I always get the Vegas roll, who doesn’t loved fried goodness! The sesame noodles are my daughter’s favorite! They have way more then just sushi! And a great selection of desserts! Love that they have children chopsticks!

Terrible experience! We will NOT go back. Our bad experience at Blue C was a few weeks ago and it didn’t just end at the restaurant. About an hour after arriving home, my husband and I were both not well — stomach pains and rapid vacating of what was consumed. .. if you know what I mean. Ouch & blech!!! Not good. To begin, we were seated in the Happy Hour section and were told about the Happy Hour offering by a really energetic, friendly employee. Sounds good, right? Well, we sat there for 15 minutes, were brought water, Happy Hour menu and then told that we couldn’t order there because the person who sat us was misinformed and there was no more Happy Hour. Once seated in the proper area, the food wasn’t very fresh & our server didn’t know the menu. I asked for a roll to be prepared when I saw and empty plate with a delicious description pass by on the belt. I was informed that what I inquired about was not a menu item. I had to wait until it went by again to prove to him I was correct. When the roll finally came it left much to be desired(borderline gross) and was missing items from the description. Lastly, we were overcharged our receipt. We showed the waiter and he pretended he didn’t know what we meant. How hard is it to understand there were extra plates listed on the receipt that we didn’t consume??? Yep. Fail. We went to Blue C as a treat to ourselves after having a couple weeks of really healthy eating/juicing and were so disappointed. Simply stated, they will never get my money again. .. especially considering the after effects of the food. Nope.

I came here on Valentines day at random knowing I wanted sushi. By God’s grace there was seating! Me and the boy sat at the sushi conveyer and picked out some plates and ordered age dashi tofu and teriyaki bowl. The age dashi tofu was delicate and light. I’m used to a more traditional age dashi with full flavor sakana dashi with ginger notes. Blue C’s sushi’ sis more like a miso with fried tofu. Not terrible, I’ll eat it again. After that pre-meal, we were allowed to migrate to the bar area for some happy hour deals. Extremely good deals and prices on sushi, appetizers and drinks. Our waitress, LISA, was so sweet, efficient and real. She was able to give accurate advise on menu items, giving honest opinions. All the while, she was on her toes keeping up with everything going on during happy hour on Valentine’s day. My favorite part of this experience was the awesome customer service and trendy Tokyo pop atmosphere. Lisa made me feel comfortable and did a hell of a job keeping up with our needs without being lingering or awkward. Props!!! The food was good, too. Not amazing, but I would eat it again. And again :)
