Can’t believe I haven’t rated Jollibee yet. DABEST. I mean, I grew up eating this fast food chain in the Philippines! Now that it is here in Washington(for a couple of years now), I gotta say it’s like being back home! 1. Food: Their iconic chicken joy, yumburger, and spanghetti(yes, SPANGhetti instead of spaghetti because one of the mascots of Jollibee is named Spanghetti) are THE top 3 that you have to get if this is your first, second, third, or thousandth time here! Now if you are aiming for breakfast, try their Tocino or Longanisa. It’s pretty good too, but nothing to scream about. 2. Service: This location in Tukwila is really a hit/miss service. Though they are always friendly and helpful, they tend to get unorganized when it comes down on the weekends/holidays where lines get super long and customers screamin at the cashiers for missing an order etc. SO my advice is STAYAWAY during the peak hours time which means: friday at dinner time(5pm thru 8pm) Saturday during lunch(12pm thru 3pm) and dinner(5pm thru 830pm) and Sunday at 12pm thru 4pm. DOGOAROUNDTHISTIME(if you can): Monday thru Thursday: Opening thru close, Friday at opening and before dinner and saturday and sunday at opening or whenever you get lucky and you can find a place to sit :) 3.Price range: It’s like a typical fast food chain, but don’t expect to find a dollar mcchicken type of deal here. Think like Panda express for instance. 4. Atmosphere: Theyre in the mall, so expect the place to be somewhat crowded. And if you are like me and is a filipino, expect a lot of us here. It’s more fun in the Philippines!!! except you’re in… washington…in the mall. down south. 5. Overall: It’s really up to you. I feel like you gotta try before you rave about it. For me, I feel as if most of the people eating here grew up eating jollibee(like myself) and/or tried it from one of their Pinoy or Pinay friends and either liked or disliked it. Their fried chicken is definitely WAY better than KFC.

This place is weirdly delicious. Always packed I tell you! Right next to an Asian supermarket in the mall so it gets traffic a lot! I’ve tried the food and it is very delicious, the prices are a little too high for what you eat but it’s probably something you shouldn’t eat for a regular basis. Staff here are always smiling and this place seems to be the busiest compared to its surrounding restaurants. I am a little disappointed that it only covers a small area in the mall.

Who knew their fried chickin’ is finger lickin’ Better than KFC, better than Popeyes, better than Ezells, about the same as Church’s chicken! My mouth is salivating as I’m typing up this review. Oh gosh this is embarrassing! Next time I’m at this mall, I’m coming back for more finger lickin’ good gooshy gooshy!

This is the only Jollibee in Washington state & what better place to have it but in Westfield mall at southcenter(Tukwila). It’s in the same wing as the seafood city and city grill and inside its adjacent to chowking and its next to Red ribbon(talk about Manila highway…:-)) so if you want Filipino this entire area screams it(literally) I can say that because I’m one… but if you’re not, you might offend someone. All Jollibee(s) have their iconic«chicken joy» with the gravy and the common spaghetti with cheddar. The service is usually pretty fast but for some reason this location is slow, even when it’s not busy. The lines here get extremely busy since it is the only one, most of the people would drive for hours to come here just to try this place. I normally like ordering their halo halo even on this cold weather here in Seattle but when the line is way too long, I rather not get it. If you’re already here at the mall & you miss the Jollibee experience in the Philippines this is another way to experience it: it’s busy, it’s loud and the chickenjoy is waiting for you! Maybe they need to open another one probably much closer to the southern side of the state, I’d go just for the thrill of it but not to get out of my way to drive here. I have to say I prefer the ones on Oahu even though it’s much more crowded over there too.

I’ve been hearing my friends rave about Jollibee for years. Years! So I was excited to finally try one here in Seattle. It’s… okay. See, I grew up with delicious fast food too(in Indonesia), so when I heard of this fast food chain from the Philippines, I couldn’t wait to give it a try. I remember how much better fast food tastes like in Asia compared to here. Maybe I had too high of an expectation. The fried chicken was good, don’t get me wrong, but I was expecting«out of this world» good because of how much everyone was raving about it. Now that I think about it, I think Jollibee is more of a pastime comfort food. I’ll probably eat it again for the fried chicken and gravy. Skip on the chicken tenders, they’re waaay too dry. You can definitely ask for extra gravy, put that on everything. Everything. Fries hardens quickly, so it’s not as crispy and soft on the inside.

Oh my, ever since my first time going to Jollibee I’ve had random cravings for their fried chicken and spaghetti. Their burgers are just OK, wouldn’t recommend getting them if you are craving a good burger. Halo Halo is good, but there’s a bit too much ice for me in it. But the chicken… that juicy inside with crispy outer fried coating, so delicious! Dip the chicken in the gravy, it just completes the whole scrumptious meal. The filipino style spaghetti is finger-licking good, it’s a sweeter version of your classic spaghetti — definitely give it a try! The service is good, no complaints, just a fast food style service. You go up to the counter(after a line if you are here on the weekends), order your food, they give you a buzzer and you get your food when the buzzer goes off. Seating is plentiful while you watch mall-goers pass you.

I go here for the HALOHALO! I tried their fried chicken and it was good but I’m not exactly a fried chicken fanatic so I’m biased. That vibrant, purple ice cream you see… ube(purple yam) ice cream. SODELICIOUS. I can’t explain the flavor but it’s just so good. It was my first time trying halo halo and I am so glad I did because I crave this stuff. I really like their’s and always want to go back!

First off, we had never been to a Jollibee before, although we have both had Filipino food. Second off, we were not prepared for how crazy popular this place is. The queue stretched out into the(Southcenter) mall hallway. A server, thankfully, intercepted us before we got to the registers and asked for our order. As we had never been, we only had a slight idea of what we wanted based on viewing the lit menu from afar. The server recommended the chicken. We both got combos. I got chicken and spaghetti(I know, not your average fast food joint), and Hiro got chicken and a noodle dish(they refer to it as ‘fiesta noodles’ on , but the restaurant used a filipino name that I forget). The server also recommended halo halo, which we both had had before, so we got one to share. The chicken is slightly greasier than Heaven Sent’s, but it is still tasty. I was just bummed because I got a drumstick with my combo whereas Hiro got a big breast. Luck of the draw. The noodles were the most interesting part of the experience. The spaghetti was way past al dente but that’s forgivable. The sauce, though, had a different taste and tang that was unlike anything I ever had before. Hiro’s rice noodles were also topped with an interesting combination of pork cracklings, shrimp and hard-boiled egg. Very tasty, though a completely new taste sensation. The halo halo was a shade disappointing, in that it was served in a big cup. Would have liked to experience it in a bowl, but I can see how that would not be feasible in a fast food format. And it needed more beans! =) The ice cream scoops on top were delicious but confusing. Pretty sure that the purple one was a coconut/ube mixture. But the yellow one? The famous filipino cheese ice cream? Hard to say. Finding it was not easy. Thank goodness for GPS. It’s a shame Southcenter is such a zoo. We might be back more often if not for that factor.

Usually I go for chicken, but tried the Filipino style spaghetti for the first time. Unlike the general opinion about it as «too sweet», actually it wasn’t that too sweet and was really tasty. Well the pasta was overcooked which was not my style, but maybe that’s the Filipino style? Was a big fan of Jolibee when living in LA, so happy finding here in Seattle too:)

My boyfriend and I only come here for a bucket of chicken. If you like spicy, request for it! We always get half a bucket of spicy and half regular. It’s best to call in to-go. The lines get long and sometimes takes a 15 – 20 minute wait. Lastly…don’t forget to check your order and ask for any utensils you need(they are pretty shy on their utensils and they have messed up on our order a few times).

This is my like my 10th time coming here, and so far really nothing new to report. The food is pretty much the same since it opened. The fried chicken is still juicy as ever. And the like big bites are still as tasty as ever. The cleanliness still needs some work. Yes, they do have someone bussing the tables but they don’t do as good as a job as most other places. Overall experience, it is still pretty much normal.

Disappointing experience– something that was definitely more about a childhood memory as my grown up palate was stunningly let down by the great Jolibee Filipino Experience. Guess something’s are best left to childhood memories and best not to revisit as grown ups. Chicken was lukewarm– potato with gravy plastic, and gravy watery. Chicken breading was disappointing. Sorry Jolibee– not a good experience especially for what you have to put up with to get: — long Filipino lines — crowded seating

I was very disappointed in the quality of their food… I could not finish my burger, and the fries my child got were disgusting. The bread looked old and they didn’t have any options for drinks other than soda or water. I paid 9 $ for food that we couldn’t eat… I definitely will not return.

Southcenter Mall is still a zoo. I have successfully stayed away for twenty years, but I wanted to try Jollibee. I did not know that this section of the mall on the east end had become such a mecca for Filipino shoppers. It is anchored by Seafood City Supermarket which is surrounded by some popular food court style restaurants. Jollibee is the largest fast food restaurant in the Philippines. They expanded into the US with limited success with little to no advertising. This one has been open since 2010, but has been largely a Filipino secret. I got the Spaghetti and Chicken Combo and a Halo-Halo. The spaghetti sauce tasted like Spaghetti O’s, sweet and canned. It had little ham cubes and wiener slices and cheese. You had to have grown up with it to love it. The chicken was broasted(pressure fried) — moist, tender, and tasty. I loved the chicken, but not the gravy. It tasted canned. This was the first Halo-Halo that I’ve had. It was delicious, I’m a fan. It was an icy goodness packed with fruits, beans, jellies, ice creams, flan, and I’m sure more good stuff. There is more to explore here.

I love Jollibee! They don’t have it here in Vancouver, Canada. Their Palabok Fiesta with Fried Chicken is the bomb! It’s one of my favourite dish there. You should also try their Burger Steak. It’s really good. This Jollibee that we’ve visited is in the Westfield Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, WA. The mall itself is really big and a lot of different stores. So, this Jollibee is in a really good location. Parking wasn’t hard to find, either. When we visited here, there was a lot of people, but the line-up was worth it. It wasn’t that long. Service was fast! Reasonably priced! Food was hot and very tasty! Would definitely come back here again, to try out the other options in their menu.

Most people that come here are filipinos who make the pilgrimage to be blasted back to when they were living back in the Philippines. Just like an expat American walking into a McDonald’s when they live somewhere else outside the United States. Most popular dish ordered here is the chicken joy. Filipinos are passionate about their fried chicken, and yes, we dip that stuff in the gravy and we don’t give a «F» what you think. Rarely will you ever see me order a burger here, unless I’m not that hungry, but that’s a very rare occation. I come here cause I’m hungry for no bs fried chicken and rice, that’s that! The place is clean, the employees are nice and the food is extra prompt. There’s chairs to sit in, tables to put your food on, some walls, lights on the ceiling, there’s even a door that leads to the outside. That’s amazing! My food came hot, the chicken joy tasted like chicken joy, the rice tasted like rice and the soda tasted like soda. This man at this point has no complaints to get off my chest. Only thing I can say is that if you’re expecting it to taste just like the Jollibee in the Philippines, do me and your cry baby butt a favor. Fly to the philippines and eat there so I don’t have to read about your whiney reviews here on Unilocal.Anyways, eat here because it’s the closest thing to the philippines. That’s for real. In the Southcenter Mall, Jollibee is extremely popular, more so than the restaurant across the hall that advertises their Chinese fried chicken. We ordered Chicken Bucket A which came with 6 pieces of chicken(3 drumsticks, 3 thighs), 3 mashed potato sides, and 3 peach/mango pies. It’s an ideal serving for three adults! **Their chicken is some of the best I’ve had… perfectly cooked, not dry at all. The crust is delightfully crispy and you can tell that it came fresh out of the fryer. The pieces are pretty substantial and have wonderful flavor. **The mashed potatoes are what you would expect, pretty light and fluffy. **Although the peach/mango pie seems to be well-liked here, I found it just okay. I found the filling to be a bit overly sweet, but I’m not a huge fan of peach pie to begin with. However, the crust is flaky and light, which is a plus! All the food was served very hot, and tasted fresh! I just wish they had more side options other than fries, mashed potatoes, corn and rice. Items were somewhat greasy as expected for fast/fried food, so it would be nice to have another veggie option or healthier side dish. **TIP**: For 3 people(or, if you like leftovers), then you can’t go wrong with a Bucket(Bucket A, about $ 19). An alternative would be to order three of the 2 piece/1 side meals at $ 6.50, amounting to about $ 20. But then the Bucket also adds in the 3 pies(about $ 2 each) for an extra bonus.

Why do I love the bee? Well, @Jollibee is Filipino comfort fast food, American-style. You can get burgers, fried chicken, and Filipino-noodles and soups here. I’d bet that it’s more popular than McDonald’s in the Philippines and I know that it is the largest fast food chain in that country. It ain’t health food by ANY means but it hits that comfort food craving well! This place has ranged from busy to oh-wow-that-queue-stretches-far busy! I recommend splitting the party to have some folks hold down a table while the rest of the group orders. Parking can also be cumbersome because it’s a mall so be patient during the weekends or just visit during the week, when it might be less busy. During my visits, enjoyed the burger steak with egg, served with mushroom gravy and rice. I’ve also made a meal out of their Little Big Bites: two SPAM and one corned beef, to be exact. Be warned, they use full sodium/full fat SPAM which made me thirsty for the rest of the afternoon. Lesson learned. I’ve never had the buttered corn but my friends swear by it. And I didn’t love the sotanghon. It had a good flavour but the noodles were overcooked. I haven’t tried the pancit or spaghetti for that reason. I’ve also never gotten a burger because why on earth would I want a burger when there’s spicy fried chicken to be had! Oh that fried chicken, specifically named chickenjoy! Gloriously fried chicken that’s juicy with a perfectly crisp exterior, served with rice and gravy. Go ahead and get extra for chicken dipping because it’s the perfect combination. If you can, save room for something sweet like some halo-halo or a fried pie. I found the latter to be too sweet but my husband liked them. He preferred the peach mango over the banana + langka. You can also pick up some sweet treats at Red Ribbon, which shares the lobby space. I usually end up doing that(ube mamon FTW) and having it later in the day! I would have given five stars but the tables aren’t always the cleanest. They aren’t gross or anything but folks don’t wait for tables to be cleared before they pounce on vacant ones. I have asked for a table to be cleaned and it was promptly done. If they assigned one staffer to check the restaurant hourly, I think they’d be better off.
