The restaurant closes at 9:00. On Sunday, I arrived at the restaurant at 8:40 p.m. and prepared to load my vegetables to get my order cooked to go. I was told that they were closed, although there were families sitting and eating and they had just finished cooking food for one customer. Their comment was«we have families to take care of.» I was very disappointed and didn’t feel as though I was a valued client. I don’t think I’ll return.

I was really impressed with this place. Very clean and fresh. The food was very delicious. Love that I was able to choose how I wanted everything.

Okay food, variety of options but you can NOT share the food that you paid for. Don’t worry they tell you after you purchase the food Bad customer service and not straight forward.

Let me preface this review by saying that I am a little biased when it comes to Mongolian BBQ restaurants because there are some really great ones in my hometown. That being said… So, it’s your standard ‘self-serve into bowls and then hand it off to the guy so he can cook your food’ sort of set-up. You have the option to pay for an adult one-time bowl for about $ 9OR you can go with the all you can eat option, which is a smaller bowl(but all you can eat) for about $ 15. Unless you have a ginormous appetite, I would recommend getting the adult bowl for $ 9 because it actually does yield a ton of food — it’s amazing what you can fit into that one bowl. My first critique is that I wish the noodles were before the vegetables, because once you fill your bowl full of the veggies, there’s little room for the noodles and when you try to pile them on top, they sort of slither off onto the floor. I did, however, really like that they have four different types of noodles to choose from. My second critique is that they don’t let you pick the meat. And I’m torn on this one, because when the customers are handling the meat(even when it’s the shaved frozen type), I worry about them touching the meat and cross-contaminating by touching other things and thus poisoning everyone. But here’s the thing — while I was there, I witnessed one of the cooks pick up a cup of raw chicken(some of which was hanging over and touching his hand), dump it on the grill and then proceed to wipe his hands on his apron and then walk over and try to ring up my order. Ummmm no, thank you. Also, unlike other places, they don’t have a station for sides like rice and egg rolls to go with your meal which was a huge bummer. Again this is something that I’ve consistently seen at similar places in my hometown. Aside from all of that, the food was really good. I feel like it’s hard to go wrong flavor wise with Mongolian BBQ. Unfortunately it’s hard for me to overlook these health concerns and for those reasons, I probably will venture elsewhere in the future.

The door says it’s called K’s Mongolian Grill but it bears a striking resemblance to the one in Burien on 1st Ave. Same pricing, about $ 9 for an adult-sized bowl for lunch, but this one also offers all you can eat for $ 14.95. It’s also worth noting that the adult bowls seem a bit larger than the one in Burien which means it’s not quite the stuffing contest posed by getting all your vegetables at Khan’s. This restaurant also offers you the option of splitting up your meats so you can have, say, shrimp and chicken, in your bowl and you can double up your dose of meat if you’re craving more protein. Of course, it’ll cost you, but I think it’s a refreshing Democratic change. As far as vegetable, noodle and meat options, everything remains the same as Khan’s with the exception of a «spicy noodle» choice. I was able to create the same bowl(except a little larger) as I do every time in Burien. Naturally, it’s is in located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The dining room is about the same size, they offer water and soft drinks from a fountain plus a few more choices from a refrigerator as well as the same hot sauces(think teriyaki, plum, mongolian, mushroom cream etc) ensuring that you can create a healthy masterpieces as well as a calorie or sodium bomb if you wished. This is an excellent alternative if you don’t feel like splitting your chores up between Tukwila and Seatac.

Very fresh and delicious! Yes they skimp on meat, but I go for the double because I usually get two meals out of it anyways. This is the best Mongolian I’ve had in the greater Seattle area after the one in Sammamish closed, and the service is very quick.

The place was clean and the staff friendly. Unfortunately I found the food under flavored and undercooked. Given the amount of great places to eat in the area I’m afraid I won’t be trying them again.

I love this place! I take a staff member here for lunch once in a while and pile as much as I can in my bowl. The result is a huge lunch that will feed me a few more meals afterwards. The best things on my food are peanut sauce, saracha, and cream of mushroom soup! You have a choice of the adult(one time) bowl, several trips, and a child’s bowl. I’ve been using the one time bowl, and it creates, at least, 2 meals! The times I’ve been in, it’s never been full or too busy. Happy eating!

I don’t understand all the bad reviews you clearly get what you pay for and this place is pretty cheap compared to other big chain Mongolian places. Came in here yesterday evening to do takeout for dinner. barely anybody in line which was good and was pleasantly surprised by how many items they had considering the size of the place. made by bowl. ready in about 5 minutes. super quick! The people are also nice which is a plus. Came home and chowed down. it was great! They do kinda skimp you on the meat portion but overall it was good and I would come back. Had to find a replacement spot since Chang’s shut down. and my other favorite place is in federal way so I needed to find a closer place to when I don’t wanna drive that far and this will now be it! Will be coming back!

Love the healthy choices and sauce combos. Every kind of refreshment I needed was there and there were after sauces that were warm just in case I got my taste buds mixed up. Very clean and quiet, however elegant and simple. Also good if it’s that time of day your not sure what to eat.

SOMUCHBETTERTHANCHANG’S! Ever since I moved over here, I’ve been disappointed in how the west side does Mongolian. I decided to give the Seattle area one more chance and I’m glad I did. This place has clean and fresh ingredients, they have several really good sauces to put on before cooking your meal and they have the thicker sauces to add as toppings, if you want, after your dish is grilled. I read the complaints of the employees adding your meat for you, but it seemed like my husband got just as much meat as he would have if he put it in himself… Other places have their meat frozen, so it takes up more space in your bowl; the meat here is fresh/refrigerated, not frozen. Plus, since I didn’t get meat or tofu, he got my extra meat at no extra cost. The one thing to note is that while you do get rice with your meal, there is no soup. Other than that, it was amazing! I will definitely be back!

Not a great place. They measure out your meat. I have been to better places for the price. We will likely skip this next time and go to one to our normal spot in Federal Way.

This place is VERYGOOD! By far one of the better Mongolian grills I have been to. They give you the option for 1 plate price or buffet price. Which is nice! Also, the cooks were VERY nice! One even sent me back to OVERFILL my bowl! Any other grill would complain if you made your portion to large. The ONLY downers are the plastic utensils(which isn’t even that big of a deal) AND you don’t choose the meat portion, you tell the cook what meat(s) you like and they cook it(but to my surprise they weren’t stingy on the meat portion, they were actually VERYGENEROUS!) my wife and I ordered 2 single plate dinners with 1 drink and paid $ 22

Love everything about this place. The food is cooked fresh to order and it’s not expensive. It’s rarely busy so you’re not waiting in life for what feels like forever. The cooks are always polite. One of my favorite go to places.

Not bad. Not the best meat and they decide how much you get(super lame) but the flavors are good and the staff is polite. We did the $ 10 for the to-go box since they shut off the grill 30 min before close. I did kinda like that I was able to get a bowl full of veggies and they had the meat in back but I also didn’t like it. I kinda felt skimped since I didn’t get to pick my meats nor was I offered extra meat when I asked for big chicken and beef. All in all is go back

When I think of Mongolian grill I think about going to a line with 3 empty bowls ready to be filled. One with Meat, another with noodles, and another with veggies. This place makes you pay extra if you go more than once. Even though I can’t eat more than one bowl, I like the freedom to decide that I can go back for seconds. «Amarrrica!» I’ll will stick with Chang’s for my glutinous noodle kick.

Definitely one of the best Mongolian grills I’ve ever eaten at. I try to eat here whenever i’m in town. Good quality, friendly staff, and nice Mongolian atmosphere. I would not have tried this place had it not been recommended by a few co workers. Apparently the new management has really turned this place around. I think it’s called K’s now not Kahns. Unilocal needs to get on that because those old reviews are probably hurting business.

I love the food here. The people don’t really talk to you that much, but the food is great! Of course, depending on what you put in your bowls. If you put poop in your bowl, you’ll get a poop meal. Don’t expect awesomeness if you don’t know how to put together awesomeness. They aren’t going to do it for you. DUH!!!

New fave place! Fresh selection and variety of noodles/veggies. I like that they have a sauce bar I can add on after they grill it. Clean and friendly. Always want to eat here. Nom. Nom.

Has anyone else mastered the art of piling every single desired ingredient for the grill in to one medium-sized bowl? I need tips on how to get this right, because inevitably, I find myself with a leaning mound of vegetables topped with rice noodles that barely hang on. There may be a few casualties from the veggie bar to the counter, but this is the fun of creating your own stir fry, right? Perhaps the all-you-can eat option is my remedy. Plenty of sauces to choose from here, though I wish they would put signs up listing the amount of sauce or oil to add before cooking. The grill guys could be more interactive, too. I mean, I’m staring at them while they cook my food. The least they could do is tell some jokes.
