My family and I were at Seattle Premium Outlets. Out of the blue, my mom said she wanted a smoothie. I got on my Unilocal app and did a search. Surf City Squeeze came up. I was confused because I hadn’t seen this business before. I went to the directory and didn’t see it listed. After doing a bit of research, I found out that it’s part of The Great Steak & Potato Co. inside the food court. I cringed a bit because I haven’t eaten anything in that food court for years. I told my mom I would check it out to be sure that the ingredients were at least identifiable. The flavors were a little limited; you could choose two flavors for your smoothie. Choices include: strawberry, banana, coconut, peach, mango, etc. A regular smoothie is $ 4.50 and a large is $ 5.50. I watched them prepare the smoothie, which consisted of a pre-mix, ice, and fresh fruit. I ordered a strawberry-banana. It was creamy enough, without being too sweet. The ice had a nice consistency to give it texture while still being drinkable. It was a decent smoothie but the price point was too high, which is not surprising because of it’s location.
