Do you really have to read a review about this place? I mean it’s chocolate, do I need to say more? I don’t think I’ve met anyone who doesn’t like chocolates, I mean even guys love chocolates, right?

This was kind of a surprise to me from my bf. I was looking for the candy apple store when we went to the Gilroy outlets but I guess it had been gone from there for a long time now, so he brought me here. :-) They have so many choices of chocolates, truffles, fudge, toffee, candy apples, chocolate covered/dipped things, and ice creams. They also had dipped treats for dogs. It was so hard for me to choose but I ended up with the avalanche candy apple and chocolate covered orange peels. Its way too much sweets for me to eat the candy apple alone but I ate a few slices and it was pretty good. The orange peels were also ok but not something I could eat a lot of, not because of the richness of the chocolate but because of the flavor and texture of the peel. My bf said his chocolates were good too(milk chocolate peanut butter bucket, milk chocolate truffles and rum truffles). They had a lot of treats with the choice of having either white, milk or dark chocolate. The only thing i was saddened by was the fact that they didnt have any chocolate covered bacon :-(, satisfied with what I got though.

It’s a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, how can you not like it? Avalanche caramel apples always win. The service here is excellent, and they’ve always gone out of their way to be accommodating when there’s a crowd. Downside: their awesome fudge is really expensive. My dog loves their dog treats, too. Solid five stars for never letting me down. Also don’t hesitate to try the truffles. A+.

I am a fan of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, but not of this one. I’m from the Bay Area and the service at the SF pier is amazing. They are friendly and seem to enjoy their job. The moment I walked into this particular store, the employees complained about how they have such great attitudes, but don’t understand why people aren’t tipping. If this conversation was not happening in front of me, I would have spent my moolah here and I would have tipped. I’m a believer in tipping, when the job is done right. The employees complaints made me walk out.
