It’s a wonderful place. A bit cramped, but I think it adds to the atmosphere. The interior is pretty nice for such an old-looking building. Coffee is coffee, and it’s done right and the desserts are nice too. The biggest drawback is that it’s a magnet for hipsters.

Great band tonite. I had florentine quiche for dinner. Very rich explosion of flavor in my mouth. Sams pale ale to drink. Remember to save room for gelato. Mine will be double dark chocolate!

The place is beautiful, for starters. They have great food, kind service & wifi. This is hands down the best cup of coffee in all of tullahoma– hands down!

This place is wonderful!!! I was here for a day and in desperate need of coffee. The caramel mocha was a perfect blend of rich. dark chocolatey flavor with caramel. The cream was the best part and the coffee was a little nutty which I always enjoy. I also got a turkey sandwich. It was very delicious!!!

The atmosphere is comfortable, with a tease of authentic Irish pub surroundings! The walk up service counter was friendly! We order the gyro and loaded potato soup! The gyro was good, served with 4 – 5 pickled mushrooms! The cup of soup was average on the bland side! There was a very small drop of sour cream and a solid amount of bacon bits added on top with a sprinkle of cheese! Without these accompaniments added it would have been dreadful! Needed a punch of flavor and a bit less flour as a thickening agent! Would go back and give it another go, though! Maybe trying the delectable gelato!

I’ve been to coffee shops up and down the East Coast and into the Mid-West. This is my favorite coffee shop. This Irish-themed coffee shop is elegant and quaint with comfortable seating, beautiful décor, and architecture. Their menu features teas, coffees, espresso drinks, several flavors of ice cream, and sandwiches. They also have nice restrooms.

This is a rare breed of coffee house. That’s the only way that I can explain this. While there is a 18th century Irish theme that is prevalent throughout this venue,(hence the Celtic name), there is also a sense of regality to it that instantly relaxes you from the moment that you step into the threshold. And this is before you smell the coffee. Prices here are quite reasonable, and the customer service is really, really good. Seeing an overflowing tip jar helped accentuate this notion! The easy listening & classical music within the Celtic Cup’s surround sound system is truly phenomenal, and certainly one that I would have within my own home. The products are quite good, which met my expectations. Even sitting on the outside deck within rear of the venue, as well as on the patio out front seems to be a good experience, especially when the staff brings what you ordered to your table. If I had one complaint, it would be the front parking lot. The parking spaces are quite limited, and when you back up, you are automatically in the main road. Proceed with caution when you do this. I would highly recommend parking within the rear parking lot that is close to the deck. Quite possibly the best coffee house that I’ve ever seen in Tennessee. Will definitely be back.

Love the atmosphere and live music. Friendly staff along with great coffee and pastries make the Celtic cup a nice place to visit. If you’re in the area stop in and enjoy some coffee and music.

Great atmosphere and nice little gift shop. I’m a tea drinker and not wild about their tea, hot drinks in general seem to come out not quite hot. But a great place to «meet for coffee»

A very nice little coffee place in Tullahoma, good coffee, at a good price, with a very nice staff and lots of comfortable seating. My only regrets were that I had to go back to work so my visit was short and I made the mistake of having lunch somewhere else before I visited here as the sandwiches looked delicious!

This was my 2nd visit to the Celtic Cup. A friend really wanted to try it, but the reuben I had gotten several years back was mediocre at best. I thought I might like another item better, so I agreed to meet here. The four members of our party arrived separately. No one was greeted or seated. We stood at the counter for several minutes while employees ignored us. The roast beef sandwich I ordered was so salty it was inedible. When I asked if I could exchange it for something different, they said I could only get the same thing. I finally convinced them to give me a bowl of soup instead. The soup was okay, but with no refund of the difference, it was way overpriced. I ordered a dessert, blueberry cream cheese pie, and paid full price for it. It was good at least. Customer service was horrible. They didn’t offer us refills on our drinks even though there were only 6 or 7 people in the place. We had to ask if refills were even available. One member of our party asked an employee to clear some of the dishes from our table and the employee said, «Just leave them on the table.» Three members of our party are former waitresses. Our Experience: Bad food, Rude employees, Horrible service. Definite thumbs down!

Still a rose among the thorns. Good music. Good coffee. Good people. Worth a stop or several. Thank you Chris and Denise. Keep it up.

Visiting from Florida, we always look forward to checking out the local eateries. This was a true gem of a find. Everything about the building was just plain enjoyable. Terrific atmosphere, warm and welcoming. The food was so good, I ordered twice in order to sample more delights. Breakfast casserole was my favorite. Service was top notch and very friendly. It’s worth a side trip off your route just for the atmosphere alone.

Staying in a couple of dodgy hotels where breakfast is not their number one priority we relied on Unilocal to find us a place for some good coffee and food. Celtics is a cute little place with a great cuppa and some delicious warm home baked goodies. A nice change. It’s also a great place to catch up on some work. The staff are also welcoming and friendly.

Recommended by my sister, who RAVES about these scones, we stopped in one afternoon after a disappointing hunting morning, and I was swept away from any negativeness the second i walked through the cute little doors. Smells of fresh baked scones and freshly brewed specialty coffees, with a heavenly aroma of chocolate and other sweets, smack you in the face as soon as you walk in. Displays of deliciousness arouse your curiosity, and now the only worry you have in the world is,… Loaded Cheddar Bacon Scone? Or that delicious looking white chocolate raspberry? Gelato… or Sorbetto? Espresso… Chai Latte… Caramel Macchiato??? Or maybe even a Caramel Mocha Frappé for a nice hot Tullahoma morning??? Decisions, decisions… No matter what you order, you will be pleased. (Unless you are in a hurry– this is not the place one should be in a hurry…) Awesome little«kitchy» atomsphere,… Takes you back to the Renaissance period. Take a load off upstairs and play some games even,. They have em’! We didn’t even realize we spent about 3 hours here our first trip, Playing chess, conversing over the pictures and figurines, and just getting lost in the delicious food! Some favorites: Loaded potato soup that«tastes like mama made it», Turkey Havarti Panini, and the Bacon Cheddar scone I love this nice change of pace from the general chain restaurants the rest of the town has to offer.

Every time we’ve visited The Celtic Cup we’ve had a great experience, both as customers and when I played music in a Songwriters Round. The coffee is of the highest quality, they have a great selection of craft beers, gourmet desserts, quiches and scones. The atmosphere is warm and convivial and the hosts and staff are attentive to the needs of the customer. When I first brought my guitar in, Denise very kindly suggested a good place to prop it up as I was unfamiliar with the surroundings. And Chris was very friendly and welcoming too, taking time to chat with me and my wife after most of the crowd had left for the night. The Celtic Cup is by far the best coffee house we’ve ever been in, even better than the ones we visited in Portland and Seattle, which is saying a lot. They also feature some really great folk, bluegrass and celtic music played by local artists and some from out of town.

I know I start many reviews with this phrase, but«Thanks to the power of Unilocal» my husband found The Celtic Cup Coffee House. It was the highest rated restaurant in the area of our road trip. Sure, I’m a huge fan of Starbucks, but I enjoy local coffee shops, as well. I was able to get my regular SBux order of a Sugar Free Vanilla Soy Latte at The Celtic Cup, which not only made my day but pleased my taste buds, as well. I’d venture to say that it was even better than what I would get at the national chain, but that could also be thanks to the ambiance of the coffee house. We also ate lunch there, and I enjoyed the Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was divine! The salad was loaded with nice chunks of creamy chicken, grapes and walnuts on a croissant. The marinated mushrooms that came as a side were okay but not really appealing to my tastes. They also serve gelato and bakery items, but we were too full to try. The service is not as quick as you would get from a national chain, so go there anticipating to stay around for a bit. This isn’t fast food, but it is good food… and coffee!

I owe it all to Unilocal that we found this place. After our visit to a nearby Winery, and in-between our trip to Jack Daniels, we stopped in for lunch. I’ve only been there the once so I can’t speak to how busy it gets or how slow the service might be on Friday afternoons. I don’t want to discount the reviews of other Unilocalers except to say that our particular visit was very relaxing. It has the«Stick around awhile» appeal of a Starbucks, but with more of a local«Irish» touch. I ordered a Reuben and a Nutty Irishman. The Reuben was passing decent, but the Nutty Irishman was DELICIOUS. I’m not sure I would stop in here just for the food, but certainly for the drinks and the atmosphere. It absolutely was the perfect stop to fill our tanks before our next stop.

We visited on a Friday afternoon. All of the tables that we empty were filled with dishes/cups. We had to buss our ow n table to have a place to sit. After ordering and being seated for 20 min, I inquired to see if our order was lost. «Oh, its over here on a tray. We got backed up» the barista said. 5 minutes later, he brought our lukewarm coffee. «Sorry about your wait». Not sorry enough to re make my order though apparently. Won’t be wasting my. money here again. Pitty, it looked like a nice place.

3.5 stars. 5 stars for location/venue and 2+ for food. This is a super cute cottage looking place that really stands out from the myriad of fast food lining the Tullahoma streets. The upstairs is like a mini shrine of sorts with portraits of the queen, a chess set that seemed to have came from a castle, and an open bible. I also saw a few board games up there, but since this place doesn’t open late or server alcohol(?), I’m not sure when one would come here to play board games by the queen portrait… Anyway, the people who work here are very friendly and happy to give recommendations. I tried the seasonal strawberry salad and the roast beef panini. While the salad was yummy and covered with a generous portions of berries(that never seems to happen in LA…), the panini was a bit dry and lacking. I also tried the raspberry mocha frappé, which was tasty for a little but a ultimately too sweet for my taste. Still, given that there are maybe a total of 10 actual restaurants in town, I guess this is not a bad choice for lunch…
