A coworker of mine recommended this place in Tullahoma after having stayed there on a number of occasions. I was not disappointed. The property is a large house with five rooms upstairs, one downstairs, plus an annex in the back with additional accommodations and conference room. It’s an older facility, but the property is immaculately clean and well kept. There is plenty of common sitting area downstairs to relax(with antique furniture of sorts) plus areas outside to sit on nice days. The locations is near the«downtown» Tullahoma area with restaurants and bars a short drive or long walk. The rooms have all the amenities you would need. Updated showers/bathrooms, comfortable beds, a flat screen TV, plenty of drawers and a desk(again, mostly antique style furniture). And free WiFi. An extensive continental breakfast is served every day. Pastries, bread, fresh fruit, a wide yogurt selection, lots of cereals, every kind of juice you can imagine, etc. If they don’t have something you are looking for, you can probably ask and they’ll stock it the next day. It is not staffed 24 hours(of course there is a number you can call if you have issues). When you arrive, you’ll key in the door and your room key will be waiting for you. It makes it feel like you’re just coming home to your own house! The staff is there in the mornings to facilitate breakfast and ensure your satisfaction. The ONLY drawbacks I can think of are that it is on a busy street so there is some traffic noise. And surrounding neighborhoods vary widely in their house upkeep. And it is nearby the railroad tracks through town, there will be train horns. NOTE that any hotel you stay at in Tullahoma is close to the railroad tracks so you can’t do better than that. The floors are solid wood so you will hear others walking in the hallways and up and down the stairs. There are usually just a couple of guests there so it’s not a constant source of noise. They may be able to negotiate government rates and other discounts, you can always ask.

If you are in the Tullahoma area this is by far the BEST place to stay. The décor is lovely, quaint and elegant. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are immaculate. The bistro next door has fantastic food as well! Not to be missed!

A very nice 6 room bed and breakfast which is excellent on the bed part, but not so great on the breakfast part. A 6 bedroom house in downtown Tullahoma, TN. Very tastefully decorated with fine wood floors, quality furniture, and nice bathrooms. We all slept really well here. The beds were superb. Each room has individual climate control settings. The bathrooms are brand new and have excellent water pressure. The rooms in general put most 4 star hotels to shame. The common areas are also very nice. A good living room, two dining rooms, a kitchen stocked with snacks, fruit and drinks. I really enjoyed our stay. I haven’t been in a B&B since I was a kid and it was a nice change from hotels. Only let down was breakfast. The B&Bs my parents took me to offered a perfect hot English breakfast to start the day. The Grand Lux inn only offers a continental breakfast which feels inadequate, particularly given the $ 120 a night rate. However given how nice the place is, i would gladly stay here again and drive 2 miles to the waffle house for breakfast.
