I agree with my wife: best Italian food we’ve had anywhere. Every item authentic. Service excellent. Congratulations to Tulsans, and to the Biga ownership.

April specials include burrata, prosciutto, fresh peas and mint. Then a lovely fresh pea ravioli with brown butter sauce. Spring menu is great

We like to eat at the bar. It’s cozy and the service is friendly and helpful. The food is always very good. This is one of the best places in Tulsa.

Came for a pre Valentine dinner tonight. We had a reservation for 6:30. We were seated at a two person table which was extremely close to the other two person tables. Two couples asked to be moved before they even sat down because it was just too close together. We stayed there but it would have been nicer if they had just removed one of the tables and gave everyone more room. My husband had the Veal Ravioli and I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli. The veal was very rich with a tomato cream sauce. My Butternut squash ravioli came with a brown butter and sage sauce. Both were amazing as always. We ended with desserts of the vanilla gelato with espresso and the lemon zabaione with strawberries. My husband preferred his dessert of gelato and espresso but mine was delicious as well.

Overall, I’d say 1.5 stars for service, 4 stars for food/value. The restaurant is small and cozy with a lovely fireplace in the center of the dining room. The complimentary bread was hot and delicious. I ordered the $ 253-course prix fixe, which i thought was a really really good value. The tomato bruschetta was good but lacked vinegar(which was easy to fix by asking for some). Chicken parm was very large portion for the price. Nothing special flavor-wise but good. Had the chocolate cloud for dessert, which was basically chocolate mousse cut into a pie shape. Amazingly smooth and light texture! Now for the bad… our server. Oh. my. gosh. This guy could not have been a bigger dud if he tried. We were greeted with–«what do you want to drink?» as the very first thing that came out of his mouth. Got no «good evening, how are you, welcome to biga…» No attempt at selling us on anything or talking up any food. Server never checked in on how our various courses were. Luckily someone else was responsible for keeping water glasses full and running the food to our table. Our meal ended with«here you go» and the check from our waiter. No «thank you, hope you enjoyed your meal.» We heard a table nearby trying to be friendly and talk to him and all they got back were one-word answers. Sorry, but our meal still cost almost $ 100. That kind of attitude just isn’t going to cut it. Biga Management, I know the waiter’s name if you want to know, but otherwise I’m not going to embarrass him on here.

My friend and I came here b/c this is by her house and she wanted to try it and said it might be good. We got there around 8 or 8:30 pm, so there weren’t that many people. They have a 3 course meal for $ 25 per person, so we decided to each do that. I got the caesar salad with calimari, which was ok. It could use a tad more dressing. For my main dish, I got the chicken parmesean, which the portion was huge! I definitely was able to save a lot of that a eat it for dinner the next day. For dessert I got the tiramisu which was excellent!!! My friend had ordered the bruschetta as her appetizer, the chicken parm for her main course and the chocolate cloud for dessert. Her dessert was also just as good as mine. We also split a bottle of wine and they gave us a complimentary shot of limoncello, which didn’t taste great, but was very nice of them. When we left, it was closing time for them and a very nice employee made sure we got into our car safely, even though we were parked right in front of the restaurant.

The service was good. The food was good. The place was clean and tidy, but a little bit dead on a Friday night. We were 2 of 12 people in the place. The price was a little bit on the high side. A bottle of wine can set you back 3 times what the store would. A little bit of a markup is normal, but these were out there prices. Wine by the glass didn’t seem unreasonable though. The food was great. The caprese salad was excellent albeit missing the usual balsalmic glaze. I would go back again for a nicer«date night» sort of dinner.

The energy in this place was quite different. The wife and I ordered the prix fixe dinner and got two salads… we both chose the spaghetti and meatballs… and the chocolate cloud for desert. The food was just okay, but I must say the freshly baked bread was quite delish. Nothing to write home about… just basically average place at best.

Called 3 weeks in advance for a Valentines Day reservation. They answered the phone BIGA, they took my reservation, showed up date in tow, said I had a reservation and was rudely told«Not here you don’t» My girlfriend likes the place, I think it’s overpriced and bland. A poor Okie imitation of Italian food.

I probably would have had a better experience if I didn’t show up at 7:00 on Friday night and already very hungry and wanting to go other places that night. As others have said, service was very slow. After the 20 min. we waited to be seated, it was at least at least 30 minutes for the appetizer, and then another 20 before our main course was served. Dessert and the check were delivered in a more timely manner. In addition, the waiter didn’t appear eager to give refills to people who hadn’t ordered alcohol, or maybe it was just that all those people appeared to be close personal friends. Then, the food wasn’t impressive enough to make up for the wait or the price. Nothing really stood out. The best thing was probably the bread. My husband’s pizza looked gross and the cheese on top had the texture of library paste. I kind of regretted not going to Olive Garden. At least their average food is cheaper and usually served faster.

Sadly i did not have the experience most others have… I will NEVER eat here again… First, service was horrendous. I understand its a slow paced atmosphere, but we were there over an hour before we got our apps. which was wrong… The first app I ordered was out, so I chose something else. and then was served something else… then they came out and told me the entrée I ordered was also out… At that point I didn’t feel like trying to get something else… My friends I was with were also told the app they wanted was out… and one of them never even got their entrée… AND the waiter didn’t even notice… At the end we ordered 1 tiramisu 2 coffee galetto and 2 espresso, we were brought 1 cheesecake, 1 tiramisu, 1 coffee galetto, 1 raspberry sorbet and 1 espresso.WTF. The only good thing I have to say. my friend’s mussel app was delish…

Another amazing evening at Biga in Tulsa. My wife and I were hosted by her mother for my wife’s birthday. I love the fact that Biga is small or perhaps the better word is intimate. We were seated immediately and began perusing the menu while snacking on the fine selection of olives and hot sourdough bread. Although there are many attractive offerings, we chose to go with the best fine dining value in Tulsa: $ 20 pre fixe meal. I had a caeser salad with fried calamari, followed up with spinach and ricotta ravioli and ended with raspberry sorbet and excellent coffee. All were outstanding, and the service was friendly and attentive. You can’t go wrong with Biga.

Biga is a up-scale Italian resturant with moderate prices. The food was ok, although I would rather have had Zio’s. The dessert was good(Chocolate Cloud). My wife and I split the $ 20 three course meal which was plenty of food for both of us. I don’t regret trying Biga, but I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Been meaning to go here for the longest time so i figured celebrating my day of birth was better time than any. My friend and i did the prix fixe menu and actually split a salad and entrée and it was more than enough food. i will say i have had better ck parm, but i also should have tried something with a little more to it. I suggest reservations or its likely you will wait a long while on the weekends. The service was good but a little slower than most places, it took a while to get our main course.

Biga is one of the few restaurants in Tulsa where I can go and always get an outstanding meal. It’s NYC quality in Oklahoma. The dining room has a very relaxed atmosphere, and the outside patio has 4 or 5 tables and is a greatl spot to dine if the weather permits. There are only a few restaurants in Tulsa where you can immediately tell that the chef has a passion for food. Tuck is one of those chefs. There are the regular menu items, and they always have creative specials. I love the picatta fish, and all of their ravioli dishes are to die for. Try the lemon chicken too. They always start you off with a dish of assorted olives, big & small, green & black, and delicious fresh crusty bread with yummy olive oil. They also serve delicious desserts. One of my favorites is the Panna Cotta with some kind of fresh berry sauce. I have never had anything approaching mediocre here. Biga is also a perfect spot to take guests, or celebrate a special occasion. If you’re dining solo, Tom, the bartender is great company. Biga is one Tulsa restaurant that I hope stays here forever.

Biga is the Italian version of Local Table, they are owned by the same people. The food was wonderful, I had the mussels and squash ravioli in a butter sage sauce… yummy! It can get a little pricey, but they do have a Prix Fixe for $ 25. I have only been there once, but am looking forward to the next time.

Delicious! The homemade sauces and flavors were mouth watering. The pre fixe three course meal is the way to go. It is only $ 20 and you receive plenty of food. The chocolate cloud dessert was amazing! Service was great and server was very friendly. Atmosphere is quaint and romantic.

Tasty! Just had dinner there last night and it was wonderful. We’re talking great Italien food here. We couldn’t decide what to order so we ordered just a bunch of half plates and everything was very tasty(ragut bolognese, orcchiette with sausage and brocili rabe, meat filled crepes, squash ravioli, and a lemon chicken). Think my fav was the butternut squash ravioli, wish I didn’t share that one! The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, I left Biga feeling quite happy and will be going back there soon.

I like the food at Biga but if you’re in a rush, skip it. The service is sloooooooooooooooooow. You’re going to be there for 2 hours minimum. Butternut squash ravioli melts in your mouth. And they’re owned by the same people who own Bodeans so their fish is top notch. They have a great pre fixe deal — from a set menu, you can pick an appetizer, a main entrée and dessert for $ 20.
