The bad: everyone is correct that said the service was bad, however it wasn’t our waitresses fault. It appeared they had two servers to cover the entire restaurant on a Friday night. She did the best she could under the circumstances. The food was actually very good, I had the meatloaf and I tried the stroganoff and they both came out hot and were excellent. I would recommend this place if you are ever in the area, I will definitely be going back.

Great food and great service. I had the bruschetta chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the quesadillas. We both had their spicy chicken chili and could not veg enough to of it. Very delicious and a great experience.

Horrible service, decent food.
The above pretty much describes my experience here. After ordering, it took 45 minutes to get our food. This was at lunch. I could tell the restaurant was crowded, but there were other factors as well to warrant a poor review. The waitress did not once come to check on our drinks for a refill. All four in my party ordered the lunch crab cakes. They were good, and the salad and fruit was good as well. However, we could see all four of our meals sitting ready to be delivered to the table, just sitting at the counter for approximately 10 minutes. We almost went up there to see if we could just get the food ourselves, the waitress was nowhere to be found. One in my party actually found another waitress and asked if someone could bring our now ready food to the table. She had to go hunt down the original waitress to do so.
We also ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. It was not good. Actually bland, salty, runny, overall not, well, appetizing. It also came out less than 5 minutes before our main dishes.
I don’t see myself coming back here again.

Used to be a great restaurant. Have tried to support it because it is local and in my neighborhood but have had many bad experiences. Tonight called in an order to go. Ordered one of my favorites that has been on the menu forever and another dish. When I went to pick up 25 minutes later told that it was no longer on the menu and nothing was started for my order. No explanation. It was pasta! Really you can’t make a pasta dish! Will never go back. Terrible service, terrible management and ownership! Such a shame!

Had a fine dinner here — nothing terrible, nothing spectacular. A decent place to go with the family.

Great food! Entries and salads are always great! I recommend the Chicken Pomeray, the Salmon and the Greek salad!

Good place for lunch. Took some folks from work that were in town from the northeast. Service was good and the food was pretty good. Had crab cakes lunch special. Recommend you give it a try.

Probably the best sit down restaurant for lunch that’s in close proximity to my office. I never think about going to Cardigans for dinner, except when I sit down for lunch and exclaim to myself that I should really try coming here for dinner, because the food is good.
However, the main appeal for me are the lunch combo specials, all priced for around $ 8.95. The choices are two large crab cakes with a side salad, soup or salad, or half order of the beef stroganoff or fettuccine with a side salad or soup. In all honesty, despite them having a full menu option, I have never deviated from either other the crab cakes or the stroganoff combo for lunch.
The crab cakes are good and surprisingly made with lots and lots of crab. The stroganoff too is tasty and can tell that its made from scratch and not some sort of package as it contains whole real mushrooms.
The one complain I would have relates to service. Not that the service is terrible, but they always seem to be understaffed, with two servers at this last visit. I waited for about 7 minutes before I was even acknowledged and seated. Then it took a bit of time for the server to come back around and get our order for food.
Definitely would recommend for lunch, if you have more than 30 minutes and would recommend for dinner, if I just remembered that this place exists when I go out.

There are definitely better places to eat in Tulsa. The last time I was there I found the service to be exceptionally slow and the food wasn’t that appetizing. The fries felt like fries that you’d expect to get from a concession area in a old bowling alley. Most of the food that our party had looked like it should be in a cafeteria (like it had been just taken out of the freezer to fry/​cook/​whatever.) I ordered grilled vegetables as a side and found them to be rather under cooked. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is that it’s nicely decorated and clean.

I’ve been a regular here for 10 years, and I’ve never had a bad meal. I’ve literally eaten everything on the menu. Some personal favorites of mine are the Chicken Pesto Pasta, the Salmon, the tomato florentine soup, and their club sandwich. Their vanilla bean flan is my favorite dessert in town. They also make exceptionally good cocktails (the Metropolitan and French martinis being my favorite). As for service, ask for Sherry and you will be well taken care of. Oddly, I’ve found service is quick and attentive at lunch, but can sometimes be slow and scattered at dinner.

The appearance of this restaurant it’s a little old fashioned, the service was good, the food was good as well, it looks like they don’t have many waiters, because the guy that helped us was the only one I saw running around the restaurant, but anyway, in general was good and the place looked clean. I don’t recommend it for a romantic night, is more appropriate if you want to have dinner with your grandma, uncle, etc etc.

Very disappointing. Super slow service. Waited almost an hour for our food and the place was pretty empty even though it was Friday night. The coffee was cold, the beef stroganoff was tasteless and disappointing and the vegetable medley was bland and unimaginative.

Very nice atmosphere, predictably good food, and a great owner who always makes sure you have an excellent visit. Great place for a business lunch, with plenty of privacy.
