Egg Roll Chef

So lately I have been on a mission to try every little dive Chinese restaurant in town. I have hit 5 or 6 in the past couple months. They have all been pretty good, but nothing really worth posting about.
Today was the exception. I went to Egg Roll Chef at 22^nd and Sheridan. It is HORRIBLE!!. Stale rice, everything so greasy that I had to leave without eating. I tried, I took several small bites of the chicken and a bite of the egg roll. It was so bad that I left everything on the plate and went to another restaurant. Stay away! It has turned me off of all Chinese for a while.

This place is pretty good. They are fast and the prices are reasonable. They are fine with substitutions or changes to the dishes. The food definitely fall under the category of standard Americanized Chinese (what most people are used to), but I would still consider them above average.
Egg Roll Chef has become my go to Chinese takeout in the area.

Some of the best takeout I have found in the area. Cheap, quick, friendly, good. The chicken fried rice, Mongolian chicken, sesame chicken, sweet & sour chicken, wontons & egg rolls are some of our favorites. It is family owned & they always get your order right.

This is my go-​to place for Chinese Take Away. Their Fried Rice tastes special, that i can find it any time in a taste contest. The Fried Rice is loaded with eggs and meat selection. I would say i have only eaten Fried Rice and Fried Garlic Chicken from this place, but that is because i am addicted to it and i always home into those 2 dishes every time i reach the drive-​thru menu board.
I dont know how the inside of this restaurant looks cause i have never sat and ate there, so cant give a word for the interior. But i do observe people inside the restaurant eating to their soul achieving harmony; when i am waiting at the drive-​thru for my food. If your looking for a good soul Chinese food and the clock hasn’t passed 10 pm, i say head for this place. They have a Drive-​thru and Fried Rice. Peace
