My wax here was extremely quick & painless. They have the wax system down to a science and it really makes the experience great. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on!

As a first-​timer, Laney made the process as pleasant as possible and I found myself realizing the anticipated pain and awkwardness was all in my head. She was extremely professional and educated me on the process until I was comfortable with the procedure.
After all was said and done, the results were phenomenal and the pain was almost negligible, so much so I ended up getting the annual wax pass and proceeded to book my next appointment!
So nice to be out of the 70’s and join the rest of the millennials!

The front office girls are always really nice and friendly. They always smile and greet people, which is nice because no one ever wants to go somewhere where they do not feel welcomed.
The office is very modern and clean. Your typical waxing place.
Now let’s get down to business. I just moved into town and was a bit hesitant about trying a new waxing specialist. I went on Unilocal to get a feel of this place and based on all the other reviews I decided to make an appointment with LANEY. I didn’t have to try anyone else because she is just as good as it gets.
She is super friendly and nice, and she really makes you feel comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and I don’t plan on going with anyone else. She fixed my eyebrows. She listened to what I wanted and worked to achieve that goal every time I went back.
Make an appointment with her, you won’t regret it.

Been getting my eyebrows waxed by Vickie at EWC for a couple months now and am super happy with the results. The location is convenient (at Tulsa Hills), clean, and stylish. I appreciate that I can schedule appointments online, and their «buy X no. of sessions and get Y sessions free» deals cut the cost significantly.

Pros: I love this place so much, I got the unlimited wax pass. I routinely go every 3 weeks, but I could come more often if I chose. Get the pass, it’s a great deal. I completely place my trust in my aesthetician’s skilled hands. (I will not be sharing her name because I want my pick of available appointments.) Super convenient hours and scheduling. Receptionists are so helpful and accommodating. Lots of parking spots to choose from. Accepts credit card. Never tries to hard sell you on their line of products.
Cons: none that I can think of. Well I guess… price? It would be cheaper for me to wax at home (isn’t going to happen ever again) or go to an Asian nail spa (questionable cleanliness & inconsistent results).

Really impressed with this place! I found them here on Unilocal when searching for a new place for a Brazilian wax and after reading all the positive reviews, decided to give them a call. The girl who answered the phone was very nice and they accommodated my schedule needs (which were «right now» –ha!).
She took my information from the phone so that when I walked in I was able to just go straight back. I was in and out in 15 minutes, as promised when I made the appointment.
They do non-​strip waxing and it really was less painful than the traditional strip wax. Obviously it is still painful because of the nature of what you’re having done, but it wasn’t as bad and it goes more quickly and with less pulls overall since they’re not using strips. Reasonably priced, sanitary, and very friendly staff. Great customer service. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend it for all!

The woman who did my Brazilian wax was really friendly and made sure I was comfortable. This being my first one, I was worried about it being awkward and uncomfortable and it wasn’t at all. She made it as good as it could be.
I wish I lived near Tulsa so I could make it my regular spot!

I go to Laney for eyebrows and it’s always a great experience. They have great pricing options available and have lots of ways to get discounts on your next appointment.

I have been getting a Brazilian Wax for the past 6 months from Laura. She is absolutely amazing! She’s gentle and very professional. Her working area is always very clean. She has always made me feel comfortable every time I’ve been in. And the greatest thing I like about Laura is that she isn’t about getting you in and out as fast as she can. She makes you feel comfortable and helps keep the process as painless as possible. Thank you Laura for being so amazing!

I think highly of European Wax Centers because I had great experiences in their Houston locations. My impression of them is that they are very clean, modern and professional so I always recommend them to my friends. When looking for a place in Tulsa, I was obviously excited to find an EWC here.
I’ve been able to make appointments the same day I call them and with my hectic schedule, I really appreciate them fitting me in. That’s one of the main things I absolutely love about them. They manage their appointments well giving call reminders and are updating the schedule constantly in case of cancellations. Jill is very friendly over the phone too. You should be able to make appointments online soon but their site has been down for maintenance for a while…
They have always been punctual with my appointments. FYI, I think 9 minutes after your appointment is considered a ‘no show’, so if you’re a bit late or stuck in the construction zone on 71^st, just give them a call as a heads up. They’ll still take you in, but appreciate you letting them know so they plan their appointments accordingly.
The girls at the front desk are nice and friendly, welcoming you and checking you in. There are usually two girls up front. Only once have I seen only one girl and it did become a bit frustrating that she was too busy calling people reminding them about their appointments while there were people waiting unattended. But I guess she did what she could… she did acknowledge and apologize for the wait.
Now, with these kind of services (and other things in life), it’s all about finding the right person. The first time I went it was absolute torture and it felt like it took forever. The girl didn’t seem to know what she was doing. I found out that she had been working there only for a couple of weeks. While she had previous waxing experience, the wax and technique they use here is a bit different than others so maybe that is what threw her off. They use hard beeswax instead of strips so it’s less painful and doesn’t stick to the skin nor irritates it.
I was so close to asking her not to finish (the paper they use to cover kept getting adhered to my skin and THAT was the most painful part, not the waxing itself) but I figured she had to get experience somehow and sacrificed myself for the common good (you’re welcome!). Plus I would’ve felt bad. She was very friendly… Instead I stuck it through and told her I didn’t have enough time for her to finish the other areas (smooth, I know). She also seemed to be confused about the difference between a bikini line, bikini full and a Brazilian but in my case that day I was not complaining.
Thankfully I had much better luck the second time around. Book with Stacy! She’s great! She does a clean and amazing job plus she doesn’t make you feel weird at all. I will trust no one else but her to wax my lady goods! Kidding… I’m sure there are other girls there that are great too but I’ll try to stick with her. The only thing I wish they would change is their use of medical paper to lay down on; something more sturdy (maybe towels?) would be much better.
As far as prices, I think they’re very reasonable, especially if you purchase their «wax packages». They also sell some products, including the ones they use during the appointment. I would say their serum and exfoliator are a must.
Give them a try and you’ll never go anywhere else!
