One of my favorite coffee spots in Tulsa. All the baristas are so sweet and the place is calming and chill. Perfect to meet up with friends or read/study. The lavender latte is my go-to, but everything is good! They choose awesome roasters. I never have been able to drink black coffee but with their choices I can, and can enjoy it!

This place is HUGE. Big windows on downtown are a plus. I wanted more cozy spaces and it to be a bit less sterile. Plants, or small trees because they would fit, would be great. Coffee was good. I don’t find Middle Earth to be overly friendly in general and the service reflected the same.

Cool atmosphere, interesting décor, and quick service are all at Foolish Things. I had a coffee and a Greek salad. Both were great. It was lunch time and busy, but the staff was great and friendly. The menu is small but big enough and all sounds delish!

The best baristas in Tulsa work here. Regularly serving Onyx coffee, a personal fav. Also, the cookies are perfect.

Our server went above and beyond anything I’ve seen at a coffee shop. He was amazing at customer service. The tea and coffee were both delightful and the atmosphere was serene with great music the whole time. I even discovered a new band that I like a lot!

For Tulsa, an well made almond milk latte. Very smooth, full flavored, much appreciated. Atmosphere is conducive to work, lots of open space, and a good selection of breakfast options. Should have come here more often on the short stay, but wanted to venture and try more places(Topeca). Heard it turned into a church on occasion? Not sure if that’s true but if it is… That’s pretty badass. Will come here next time for exclusive coffee needs when in Tulsa.

Hands down the best coffee shop in Tulsa! This place has everything from pour over black coffee to made in house simple syrups for their rich and bold lattes. The owners and employees at Foolish Things are innovative and constantly coming up with new twists on great drinks! I recommend«Old Smokey» if you are looking for a caffeine free drink. Once again, every single one of these rating stars are well deserved!

This place is perfectly located near TCC’s downtown/metro campus. It’s really bright and open and there are a ton of communal tables to sit at if you want to be productive. There’s also a cozy area with oversized leather couches if you just want to lounge around with your coffee. I got a latte, which was good. I really don’t know anything about coffee, but if you do, there’s a ton of different varieties to choose from. Prices are comparable coffee house prices. Service was awesome. I was greeted by literally everyone working there, which really impressed me.

This is a great coffee shop in downtown Tulsa. They have a ton of parking and plenty of seating. I sat near the fire place and enjoyed a beautifully made cappuccino. It is a great environment to go get a cup and get some work done.

This is the kind of place that makes you wish you were a college student again. This is not just for college students though, from business people meeting and moms with their babies, all walks of life come here. They have managed to take a rather large open, industrial looking type space and make it a place you never want to leave. Love that there is ample parking for a downtown location. Now onto the really important part, the coffee. On my second visit I asked if they roast their own beans or who do they use. They pointed to a list of roasters on their menu board, they use beans from 4 – 5 roasters and they usually change it up every three to four days. This fascinated me as my first thought was, wow that’s risky. For those that want the same exact coffee everyday this could be a turn off. But, not me! I think it’s so fun and Tulsa has enough coffee shops now to support one changing it up like this. I have yet to have anything other than a great latte here.

Aw man, I would love to give this place 1 star out of spite, but I just can’t be that mean. I should explain… I am so sick of hipster coffee hauses. Everyone in the place(and I’m being literal) was drawing in their moleskine journals or talking about their experiences in European youth hostels. I felt like I stepped into an episode of Portlandia. On the positive side of things, the place was well decorated and the americano I had was decent. Hence, the three stars. They probably deserve more, I’m just being a cranky-pants. The previous reviews were right about service being slow, however. Geez, how long does it take to make an Americano? it’s just espresso and water. Bottom Line– If you’re into the whole Coffee-Haus Cult Life GOHEREIMMEDIATELY you’ll love it. Normal people STAYAWAY!!!

A great little spot with a nice view of downtown. All the pastries were GF without sacrificing any of the taste. Didn’t come with the usual GF price tag either. Help was very nice and the pour over came out perfect. They also have many beans for sale.

Sometimes I can’t do my work at home so I am always in search where I can have a peaceful and welcoming environment that won’t have too many distractions. Not to mention delicious coffee and something more than your usual coffeeshop pastry always sounds good. Foolish Things has definitely become this place for me. It’s location is so close to TCC which means students are here quietly working so I don’t feel like a burden when I pull my computer out of my bag. Theres an amazing amount of seating because Foolish Things fully supports communal seating. Yes, you’ll have to get over having your personal bubble with strangers but it also means theres always an available seat, even when theres are TCC students there. My favorite part of this coffeeshop is the beautiful natural light that pours in, even on a cloudy day. The front wall is all windows which shows the skyline of Tulsa and the bustle that is what downtown Tulsa is becoming. I would definitely suggest it to anyone.

if I ever worked at a coffee shop, it would be this one. what does that mean, you ask? well, 1. the overall interior design is on point. large windows overlooking the downtown cityscape. it has a very minimalistic + industrial vibe. 2. they host concerts for local artists like Norman native Zach Winters(he’s the best. go listen to him). 3. the coffee is phenomenal with local options to boot. 4. the staff is extremely friendly. 5. the staff loves what they do and it is easy + fun to see. they incorporate their passion for the coffee scene into concerts with coffee, dinner parties with coffee, you name it. and they’re dang good at it. you want and need to go here.

Who knew grassfed milk could make such a difference? Apparently, the good folks at Foolish Things did because they have it and it is delicious. We stopped in here this week for a quick pick me up during a work day. The space is gorgeous, with big tables, perfect for getting some serious work done. I also give them points for hosting cool local events here, like the One Million Cups event(that I desperately wanted to come for and had to miss). I didn’t poke around enough, but it certainly looked like it could host a lot of people in one nice big space when needed. They were also really friendly and funny, no pretension here. Just good people, making good coffee, in a beautiful space, with a good name. I’ll be back, laptop in hand to spend more time here.
