Went today for the dim sum, not the best but definitely I will go again.

I was really sick and ordered their hot and sour soup over the phone, and the woman on the line said I sound congested and that she’d make it extra spicy for me, and I love her so much for that.

I will start by talking about what I liked. The Cantonese spring rolls were excellent. Not greasy like most egg rolls, and still perfectly crispy. The steamed dumplings were also very tasty, and the dipping sauce had a little spicy kick to it. The roasted duck was ok, but I felt like the portion was kinda small for the cost. The rice served with the duck was also old and dry, possibly just reheated. The shrimp fried rice was also just average. The one major problem was the service. There was one woman taking orders and serving, all the while answering phone calls and preparing take-out orders. She seemed pretty busy, and not so friendly. It was hard to get a to-go-box, and eventually a bill. Matter of fact, once the food was served, I don’t recall anyone coming back to check on us, or offer a refill. Not sure if I would return.

I went here with my boyfriend family this morning. all the employers still eating dont care customers come. everything inside messy. the waitress is such a rule person ever. she asked for what we wanna drink. and I told her before the drink, I just want to know did they have dimsum today and she just keep asking«drink? what to drink ?» and this was pissed me. We stand up and walk out the door. never back and I even couldn’t give 1 star for this restaurant. ZEROSTAR for this shit.

Excellent food, fast reasonably priced and very authentic. Chinese food for orientals, yet satisfying. The place is small and out of the way, but always full

Guangzhou is the worst restaurant in Tulsa. I’ve been here many times and each time I have to wait for ages before getting a menu. I think they’re biased because when white folk walk in, they get menus and orders taken down almost immediately. I was here for dinner tonight and had ordered a plate of chicken fried rice. Halfway through my meal, I found a strand of hair in the rice and informed the waitress about this. When I got her to ring me up, I told her I won’t be paying for the fried rice because of the strand of hair in it. Her reaction to this was extremely rude and uncalled for. She behaved like my request was out of the ordinary even though it was their mistake for f**king up my dinner. She threw my receipt on the counter and my «thank you» was ignored with a cold stony look. They can be sure I will never return to this degraded place and I shall advice my friends to do the same.

Worst dim sum Restaraunt I’ve ever been to. I grew up in Hong Kong so I’ve seen many amazing dimsum places with lots of variety. This place only mostly pork and like 1 shrimp and one chicken. The service was terrible and the dimsums weren’t that great. Wish there were more places in Tulsa to choose from. Never going here again

1 star for consistent bad service during dimsum weekends. There are three to four people working the cashier and serving tables. That should be enough staff for a small restaurant. The place was 75% full whenever I come here and all occasions my party had to seat ourselves and wait over 20minutes for dimsum. We had to also wait to get plates and water. Other tables just got up and went to the counter to get their own plates and cups. The asian guy in black glasses had absolute 0 personality. No hello or goodbye from him. He gets annoyed at us and made our party upset. He asked us what we want to drink and we asked for water. When he got us water, we told him we’d also like tea. He responded back why we asked him for water and was going to take the water away from us. Come on dude. We want water And tea! So he comes back with tea and we asked him for the menu. He answered back. He seemed pissed and said. I thought you wanted dimsum. We told him we want both. We asked if we can get more plates because our friends are coming and he answered he will not give it to us until they are seated. when my friends arrived, he did get them plates but never got them water or tea. They finished eating and no tea yet. There are two other ladies just standing and watching hardly helping out. This restaurant needs a new manager or maybe one doesn’t exist. I was so upset I forgot about the food. It was cheap and ok. Most dimsums are $ 2.75: siomai, hakaw, tofu. The price is ok. The dimsum is mediocre. I recommed getting the house special fried rice. The coconut custurd is very good but its only available on weekends.

Great dim sum! They have the carts filled with yummy dim sum options. I’ve been here a few times on the weekend & love it. The bok Choy and duck fried rice are my fav options from the main menu. And the chicken feet, dumplings, & tripe are my dim sum favs. They are super friendly here too.

Pros: not as many options as I’m used to coming from a larger city, but enough to satisfy my craving for dim sum. Nice employees and sweet old ladies pushing carts. Cons: Nothing to complain about. Just wasn’t comfortable with the area of town this place was located in. I probably won’t be back. Will just satisfy my cravings when I visit my family in Houston.

DONOTORDERCARRYOUT! How much they give you is just based on how many people you have. This 1 litter soup-like dish is for $ 17. Even cannot bear as a Chinese! This is how you treat your customer, Guangzhou!!!

In a old mcdonalds so not much to look at from the outside but clean inside. Took our two young kids there. Loved the fact that they pushed the cart by and you immediately got your dim sum, great for impatient kids. Good, authentic food! Quick, fresh and inexpensive.

Worst dining experience in Tulsa ever. The roast duck and pork were not fresh. Then we were told that the food were prepared yesterday and no one has complained ever in a very rude manner. First of all, we are not complaining but just want to suggest for improvements. Secondly, leave the food part alone, such customer service in the US is not appreciated. Very disappointed and probably will not dine in that place ever again…
This is the kind of Chinese place that actual Chinese people eat at. Sure, they make the Americanized stuff, but they also make stuff that most of us Westerners know nothing about. The style of cooking is much different than most other Chinese places, and they actually cook the vegetables thoroughly in many dishes. The environment isn’t the best, but the food more than makes up for it.

I give this place such a high rating because if what it actually is: the only dim sum place around, and for the value, it can’t be beat. It’s also one of my «flavorite» restaurants in town. I come around once a month or so and get my usual order plus one or two new items, depending on what’s in the cart when I get there. The«chilly bowl» soup with fish is great and perfect on a cold day. It’s pretty spicy and the fish is very tender. I highly recommend this for one who enjoys robust and spicy flavors. I like it so much I made the 10 minute trek just to get it when I was sick one day. The pricing is fair: dim sum plates are around $ 3 – 5 each and entrees $ 8 – 12 so roughly $ 10 – 12 pp after tax and 20% tip is bad at all for what you get. So grab a friend or two and try several of the dim sum plates and even an entrée to share. You’ll have a great time in their casual atmosphere and leave very satisfied. Say hi to Quay-Lin for me if you go :-)

Great lunch specials on weekdays. I am hooked on their snow pea chicken lunch special for $ 5.99. Extensive menu with dim sum on the menu. I believe the dim sum is mainly on the weekends. They are in the process of adding a karaōke room!

Thisis a great place to eat if you want to try something different. It is actual Chinese Cuisine with few Americanized dishes thrown in. There is a huge selection of exotic foods to try. I personally recommend the jellyfish. The prices were pretty accurate for the amount of food your getting. The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to explaining the dishes they serve. If you re feeling adventurous definitely stop in. A high recommend.

Eh. I heard this place got better when it moved out of the hotel to its own stand-alone restaurant. I’m not impressed.
