Manager refused to sell me a bottle of wine for what it was marked. It was $ 1 difference, and I explained I wanted it, but for the price listed on the bottle. He argued with me, and then said loudly«NOWYOU’RENOTGETTINGIT! BYE!» and grabbed the bottle from the counter and stormed off with it. All of this in front of people. I was astonished he could treat a customer this way over $ 1 and the store’s mistake. It’s the principle. Sell product at what you have product listed especially when it’s that small of a difference. I’ve been a customer of this liquor store for many years, but they lost a loyal customer and many more as my friends and family have vowed they will never give that store another dime after treating a customer that way.(Plus they’re overpriced — go to Atlas liquor instead.) Hope it was worth it for $ 1.

Stopped by on a Saturday night to grab some vodka and wine, and enjoyed checking out the store. For being in a small space, tucked out of sight from the main road, it sure did have a nice selection! The two employees at the counter were really nice, and had a conversation with us as we were checking out. Really great little liquor store, will be back!

Harvard Liquor is a charming booze shop in the TU neighborhood. There is a large selection of wine which I couldn’t tell you much about. There is also an extensive collection of beers. I’m not very sophisticated when it comes to beers, but I do like to try new things. They have beers from all around the world. I like the pilsner style of beer from central Europe and they did not disappoint. I picked up a couple different varieties and also browsed the rest of their vast collection. They have all different colors and flavors from across the globe. The one downside is that it is very, very dusty and there are boxes everywhere. You have to squeeze through stacks of boxes when coming in off of Harvard(there are two entrances) but this gives the store some of its charm. The«front» door is actually on the east side of the store. Overall, I like Harvard Liquor. I will go back.
