I happened to be driving in Tulsa after long hours on the road looming for a place to eat and saw this downtown place so decided to grab a bite here. I was impressed with the prompt and attentive service. I had a chicken Alfredo dish and breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms were a tad salty but my overall dining experience was awesome. On my next trip to Tulsa I’m returning here

Joe Momma is one of those place that I hate to like. First, I loathe the McNellies’ group…(All McNellie’s are not great or I’m a hater haven’t found out yet) But what JM does like The Oracle(From The Matrix) is put lovins in the dough. Handcrafted put not artisan you can find a hearty and hefty helping to satify your cowabunga cravings

STILLCLOSEDDUETOFIRE(tuesday, August 25) Ummm, we tried to go tonight, however you see the above. I would call in advance to see if they are open. I had to give them these stars to leave the post. Uh, feel like a dork. I just saw another post regarding their closure

Tulsa’s best pizza by the slice joint. Great place to go after a late night. They have trivia nights which are always fun and usually are accompanied by beer specials. Go for dinner and get a whole pizza, they have some great pies.

This place is CLOSED! They had a fire. We were there on 8÷20÷15. We recommend McNeelies instead.

Good food, especially in an awful town of Tulsa. The staff was very unfriendly and wouldn’t even answer a question. Waitress was not very fun and made the trip worse and not better.

Enjoyed a pie and a nice conversation with my bartender, Mike. Service, pizza, and IPAs were excellent. I will return. F

I got The Oklahoman this time around. Really good! Bbq sauce, pulled pork, hot link & cheddar cheese. I’m a sucker for bbq pizza, & this did its job. I had them add bacon to it since I don’t like onions, it took the pizza to another level.

My buddy and I were looking for something different and decided to have dinner at Joe Mamma’s. We arrived on 05/04/2015 at 7:34pm and were seated promptly. A few moments later our drink order was taken and delivered by a nice waitress. Our waiter arrived a few moments later and asked if we knew what we wanted and we asked for a few more minutes to look over the menu.
I decided fairly quickly, my buddy was not sure and needed longer. As I waited for him to make a selection I sat and«people watched». It was then that I observed our waiter constantly running his hand through his long hair and rubbing his face and beard, followed by picking up orders and delivering them to customers. It was not a one time deal; he was constantly running his hand through his hair and rubbing his hands all over his face and in his beard, and then touching plates and food. He then arrived back at our table and ask if we knew what we wanted yet, my buddy ask for the check to cover the drinks(we had not touched our sodas) and were told no charge, we then left the store. I cannot express how unsanitary this is. We’ll not be returning to Joe Mamma’s

Visiting Tulsa. This was the only place on a Saturday that didn’t have a 60 minute wait. For gods sake, don’t get the bacon cheeseburger pizza, the sauce is made with/of mustard. It’s like mustard conquered it’s goal of ruining every sandwich on earth, and now they’re going after pizza too. I would have not eaten it if I wasn’t on the verge of starvation by the time it got there. They have a great selection of beers. Standard downtown pizza place.

This is probably the best pizza around in downtown Tulsa. Wednesdays are $ 5 pizza nights which usually brings out a crowd. The seating area is a little tight but if you are looking for something cheap and chill, it is not a bad choice. The bar area is pretty small and has only a few barstools if you happen to get a drink there while waiting for your table. Visited November 2014

So we were sitting around on a Friday evening drinking the red wine and decided to order up some pizza. After 3 more hours of cutting up, drinking the wine &5+ failed attempts to get the pizza we decided to visit Joes Moms place and got us a ride. Now just because we were hammered drunk on the pinot by then we decided to make things worse and ordered a round of PBRs & «The Oklahoman» pizza. The waiter cautiously took our order despite our confusion about space & time. He then backed away from us at the table so the room could spin at our leisure. Man that BBQ, pulled pork pizza was goood!!! We absolutely tore into that thing like hyenas into a wildebeest I tell ya! There was a mess of onions & hot link parts going everywich-a-way. I ended up having to drink all the barley pops myself as we slaughtered up the pizza like savages. When came time to make our escape we sent away the waiter guy with the monies and I made my typical«walk to the restroom and back just to see if I could do it» routine. I had me a decent look about & the establishment in general had a really good atmosphere. I was amazed at all the identical twins that had decide to come on the same night & eat. They were at every table along the six walls I remember seeing as I walked back to the table and they all seemed to be having a very fine time. Just an amazing coincidence of nature I reckon. Of all the pizzas I only partially remember eating this was the best one ever & I would absolutely recommend it to anybody, even if they have full control of their facilities & gravity.

Great casual spot to grab a variety of pizza options, spicy wings or deep fried mushrooms. They always have cheap beer on keg and local beers. Open mic night provides fun entertainment for those slow Monday nights on the town. If you find yourself wondering Downtown, drunk and hungry on a late weekend night make you way to this joint for cheap pizza by the slice and fellowship.

Went here for a few beers and to try the«Incinerator» Pizza. Beers were cold and the place was packed. Service was very very slow. I sat at the bar so I thought service would have been efficient but oh well I just drank more. If you like hot and spicy try the Incinerator — if you eat it all you get your name on the board and a tshirt — I ate all but one piece because I couldn’t finish because I felt like I was going to get sick… I didn’t get my name on the board but they gave me a tshirt for trying. lol — I cant really comment on the quality of the pie because All I could taste was HEAT. it is hotter than hell! I would go back to try a regular pie if I ever go to Tulsa again. FYI Parking sucks!

This is a cool place and I love the atmosphere. After eating here a couple times, the stand out menu items to me are the fried mozzarella and the chicken nachos for an appetizer. I believe the mozzarella is made in house and it shows. The nachos are my favorite. It’s probably sacrilegious to order only nachos at a pizza place, but next time I would order the nachos for my meal. As far as the pizza goes, my favorite is the Chicken Bacon Ranch. I’ve had the T-Rex and Cheeseburger and they were both good but the Chicken Bacon Ranch is my favorite. We have always had good service here and it’s a great spot to grab a slice after drinking downtown.

The place was empty, which made us pretty suspicious. Service was good. Fried pickles were OK, pretty greasy. Pizza was the star of the show. Hand tossed crust, fresh toppings, well priced. A lot of beers on tap. Large TV. Blue Dome district so access to other night life right outside the door. If you are looking for good pizza you will get that, not so sure about other menu items. Highly recommended by the locals.

Wait staff does a great job. Hostesses need work on being a little more friendly. Fried pickles are a hit and miss but the pizza’s are great. Love the selection. Love the atmosphere. Who doesn’t like the fact you can color on the tables? All in all a great pizza place.

If you know me you know I like the McNellies group. These restaurants are always fun, hip and serve more than decent fare. The guy who owns it pours his heart out into Tulsa and each restaurant he has offers something unique and worth checking out. This pizza joint is fun and reminds me of what hideaway used to be. This is a fun family atmosphere with REAL hippies making your pizza. The fried pickle appetizer is truly the best I have had. Sour, a bit spicy and very peppery. These set the standard for what I like in my fried pickles to this day. The pizza is some of the better if had but there are some heavy contenders in the area. Sunday morning they offer a discount to folks who bring their church bulletin in with them. Now you have a reason to take your family for a great time in down town.

My cousin and I visited this eatery today and we both enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great and the pizza is divine. In my option, it is second only to Andolini’s and that’s saying something! The pizza’s crust was perfectly cooked and the cheese was rich and gooey. Joe Momma’s had Star Wars photos all over the walls which were awesome to look at. My inner Star Wars geek girl exploded with happiness! They have specials every night of the week, including Tuesdays where you can get pizza for 5.00! We will be back.

Joe Momma eats here a lot! When it comes to dowtown pizza places, this is the one to visit. They have so many choices of toppings. You can create your own or choose from the menu. My pizza of choice is the«Natalie Portman.» So Yummy and always consists of fresh ingredients. I always order a side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. I like that the salad is always green. Joe mommas is a great place for any crowd. The outside of the restaurants greets you with a Marquee that lists events and specials. When you walk in you will be hynotized by the people behind the glass twirling pizza and tossing it in the oven. The dining area is quite large. they have a stage and have musicians regularly. Joe Momma’s also hosts a kids day on Saturdays as well as trivia night on Thursdays. If you look behind the stage, there is extra space that contains the bus from the Bell’s Amusement Park ride called«Phantasmogoria.» Go look at it for a piece of most Tulsan’s childhood.
